Не знаю, что тут писать. Игра - бомба. С удовольствием играл в детстве - юмор, квесты, вариативность прохождения (в зависимости от прокачки) - с надеждой скачал и сейчас :)
A classic game, i used to play it as a kid, now i just completed the game.
Fun in places, but extremely glitchy and unbalanced.
What if Fallout was written by a Russian Propagandist? Dmitry Pushkov's cult classic slavjank RPG is a time capsule of sorts that can be considered an introduction to a controversial figure in European politics; as well as his total inability to write compelling stories. This is essentially a Neo-Soviet rewrite of "The Stainless Steel Rat" where the main character is an Imperial commando sent to Planet Alcatraz as a infiltrator in order to verify reports of an spaceport being built by the prisoners on-world.
The very first thing that happens is that you crash land on the planet, fight a little bit, and have literally everything stolen form you by the local prisoners who have formed a weird lord of the flies style settlement where they exploit new prisoners for labour and use whoever looks like they can fight as guards. Within seconds of being put in this camp you are called to the office and offered a guard position.
Then you are treated to a tutorial city full of terribly written quests with binary choices. What made me laugh in disbelief is when a character makes you deliver booze, accuses you of taking the worms within, and then holds a shotgun at you. If you disobey, you don't even get to try and fight him, you just instantly get treated to the game over screen. This is the moment I realized the writer was a total hack. You might say something childish like "What did you expect?", when the answer is: A fight, like in any other RPG where characters pull weapons on you. The other quests are just as childishly written. One guy makes you lug a bucket of poop so they can all laugh at you; another guy makes you dig in a latrine to find a ring, etc. Basically the author has a bit of a poop fixation, a lot of quests involve it.
A running theme with this entire game is that while it is an RPG, the developer never intended you to actually play it any other way than the way he intended you to. The game teases you by letting you have a gun for the first map, only to take it all away and force you to only use melee weapons until you prove yourself to the other prisoners. Many dialogues only give two options (Yes/No), and there is never an alternate way a quest can be handled like in similar games.
When it comes to the developer himself, he's considered a total Russian propagandist to the point where he was personally sanctioned by the EU. He used to work for the Soviet Military Police and adopted the screen name Goblin after the media ran a article depicting them as corrupt goblins in trenchcoats. After the collapse he basically became a Putin puppet and repeats whatever the Kremlin wants him to; when his Youtube was shut down after calls for Ukrainian genocide he basically disappeared from the internet.
