Since this is Autobilista "Prolouge", you can see what think of it in its storepage (it's cool, it drives like Gran Turismo!).
But seriously, why would you buy and play this over ASM1, let alone 2??? Well, since I choosed this over ASM1 now:
-This is more lightweight in memory, only halve of AMS1 (from 30+ GB to around 15 GB)
-Even in PC requirements. Your potato PC will most likely run it.
-Very cheap and no DLCs needed to complete compared to ASM1 (although ASM1 is still fairly cheap anyway).
-You want to drive the 2013 & 2014 Stock Car V8 Series (ASM1 doesn't have those seasons).
-You liked rFactor 1 feel and wanted to see a "sequel" as close as possible.
-You don't care for some content AMS1 has, or prefer how this plays/feels over ASM1.
-ASM2 removed some ASM1/GSCE content, like Copa Petrobras De Marcas.
-ASM2 needs a LOT of storage and a buffed PC...
-Others. Idk, I don't have ASM2...
Pros ASM1 has over GSCE:
-More content.
-Better camera.
-Can map various controls into one button.
-Tire Module is much better for many cars (in term of accessibility).
And ASM2, despite having tons of paid DLCs, still delivers free DLCs, which fun fact GSCE used to do (not sure about ASM1).
...Ok, now there's some differences in driving in GSCE and ASM1, primarily the Wheels systems (keep in mind this is based of a KEYBOARD player with driving assist):
-Stock Car has almost no difference.
-Copa Petrobas De Marcas feels much better in GSCE compared to AMS1. For some reason in ASM1 those cars like to slide if going too aggressive compared to GSCE. GSCE can slide but are more tamed and sticky (you can also try out on their separate FREE game based on the same name, since it's based on GSCE).
-Mini Challenge... Oh boy the Minis feels more harder to tame here. They're TOO understerring and can easily lose speed if not treating them correctly. At this point this is Assetto Corsa in feel and level of difficulty.
Oh, and both had poor Brakes power... )They where probably meant for the Stock Car v8 series).
There might be more differences but you get the point. You'll need to try it out.
Still a good game. It helps save memory to my PC and I like the HUD and Menu Music here more.
Idk why i have such a love for racing games with older graphics
Stock Car Extreme is a great racing game in its own right, but I would personally just recommend picking up Automobilista instead.
Automobilista has working multiplayer, lots of mod support and more base game material and QoL upgrades that would increase your satisfaction playing the game.
Игры похожие на Stock Car Extreme
