Описание
In the second chapter, the plot thickens as our heroes plunge down into the mist below the Edge and wind up in the foggy and treacherous town of Port Artue where they find themselves cornered by pirates and on the run from the law.
The Journey Down is a classic point-and-click saga with an Afro-Caribbean vibe.

In the second chapter of The Journey Down, Bwana and crew continue their expedition to the Underland. They find themselves in Port Artue, trying to find information about the Underland while avoiding the authorities that are continuing to search for them.
In this chapter, the world is a little bigger and the story is a little more developed. Port Artue is very noir, and the Mist surrounding it gives it a creepy vibe. Bwana gets more personally invested in the mystery as he learns more about his missing father's history with the Underland, and the stakes get higher as the Armando Power Company closes in. I was more pulled in by the mystery and enjoyed the setting more than in the first chapter.
The puzzles were logical but once again pretty easy, a little more than in the first part. There was one puzzle towards the end that didn't really make sense to me, and I got a little stuck early on because I missed a really obvious detail, but other than that, it wasn't much of a challenge.
I enjoyed the music, art style, and voice acting just as much as I did in the first part. The animation looked a little better to me in this part as well.
The Journey Down: Chapter Two is a really solid middle. It builds on the story in an intriguing way and has a number of improvements over the first chapter. I'm excited to play the conclusion. 8/10
Awesome game
Still giving this two thumbs up! A delight to play!!!
Pros.:
- Better sound and voice design.
- The story reminds more of Rubakawa in Grim Fandango.
- Better complexity of puzzles.
- Longer.
Cons.:
- Still feels something is off. For example, the depth of the world. Longer, more complex world with more characters would have benefited the game.
