In this interactive Point & Click adventure by Daedalic Entertainment and Irresponsible Games - the team of Gene Mocsy - Joe and his wife Christine will be playable characters. Players will decide between love, treachery, life and death: will Christine assist Joe during his prison break? Will they recover the fortune together? Or will they succumb to greed? Will Christine deceive her husband, taking revenge for all the disappointments and a marriage that brought her nothing but hardship? Will she just turn her back on Joe and hit the road with his former accomplices? Or will Joe gain everything in the end?
1954: Alcatraz offers all what makes a great adventure: challenging puzzles, a mature crime story with a dynamic plot and various possible outcomes, and a whole bunch of shady characters: brutal felons, making life on The Rock even harder for Joe, while outside not only his partners-in-crime but also snoops and cops are after the money and Christine. The cinematic San Francisco of the 1950s, caught in a gritty comic style is a harsh place. But it's also a place where 1954: Alcatraz can also pay homage to history and zeitgeist, in form of the Beatnik culture and other contemporary themes.

Good adventure, but there is a serious bug. Do not open the safe before giving the bird book to the recipient, if you do you cannot switch back and thus cannot finish the game.
At least its not Veil-guard.
I enjoyed it over all ♥, the duo rules well in this one, would this have been only about the guy in the prison wouldn't be that interesting in my view, it gives interesting perspective on the story.
Its an okay game kinda short neat story altho I dont think it has much replay value its a kinda once and done sort of game to me but it was alright.
At first i thought this would be a free roam game and not a Point and Click game. I like both and this game is really cool. I got stuck at one time and needed a hint but i got through it pretty well apart from that. The voice overs are pretty nice and the story and the whole setting really cool too. Another great Point and Click from Deadalic. The greatest problem with this game is that most of the achievements are locked. Still a really cool game. I can really highly recommend it
Almost 6hr to experienced fully, I somewhat enjoyed it. It has nice atmosphere, challenging puzzles, and enjoyable voice acting. The game also presents tough choices to make that gives you different endings. However, the control and UI are janky. This is a minus to my enjoyment. I'd recommend this, preferably at a discount.
