Used to be a good game until epic took over. greedy mother truckers and wanting a second epic account? i have one connected to steam and when i try to launch it sends me to a sign up so i go to login and it says email already in use. if dumb epic games didnt try to mess everything up and just let the game run through steam it would be easy. not worth the hassle anymore. uninstalled

This game is dead! So much hours on it and Epic Game just killing it... the amount of problems is increasing everyday, between the afk, leaver, troll, Ddos,... and what is Epic Game doing? Nothing more than trying to sell you awful vehicles/skins made by an intern...
The only way to enjoy it is with friends, sad for a "competitive" game...
The community is doing 10 times more to save the game than the developers. The game will die slowly, and Epic is the only one to blame...

The in game ads are so distracting, and ugly. I don't want to see star wars shit while playing

It was a perfect game before making it f2p, after the f2p update the game is only getting worse year by year, The community is full of toxic people that smurf on low-mid rank lobbies which is making me personally go insane, because it was the most fun game I've played in my childhood

its a love hate relationship with the game for me. for you see, i have the heavy car bug so i can't play this game to its full potential like i wanted but nonetheless its fun at times before i had it i played it everyday but after i had the bug probably just 3 times a week or less 7/10 for me.

This game used to be great. The right amount of friendly competition while remaining a fun game to play with friends ect.
Unfortunately it has taken a complete turn in the wrong direction. The crowd that plays rocket league now, at their best are toxic. Not a single game gets played without some type of server problem. And thats if you are even able to join a game. but regular updates to the store and a constant influx of content to purchase. Really show cases their priorities. I know epic games are known for their marketing to children for a profit. And as gross as that already is, can't they atleast maintain the same game they bought? I just wish Psyonix wouldn't have sold out like that. We would still have an awesome game to play. As much as i pains me to say it. The reality is this is a permanent uninstall for me.

Insane skill gap. You either don't touch grass and this is the only game you play 8 hours five times a week or you occasionally play the game and suck ass. Pick your poison. Yes there is quick match/casual but still even when I would go into those lobbies the skill gaps would be crazy.

1000+ hours across different platforms in 5 years to just get ghost hits, shit servers, shit cosmetics that are constantly shoved in your face, trading removed for overpriced garbage and developers that don't care anymore and take no responsibility for their fucking mistakes. Epic Games ruined this game.

Fast pace. Short matches. Easy to jump in and out of game play in a short window of time.

First of all, making this game free was a horrible idea. It's full of sh*tty people. Second of all WHY THE F*CK DID YOU REMOVE THE TRADE, they took all the fun out of the game. If you didn't started the game and considering giving a shot. DON'T. If you stuck with this game, REMATCH (yes the football game) is much better option and even its beta has more balanced matchmaking than this sh*thole. We don't give a tiny damn about collabs you are bringing in. Servers are sh*t, lobbies are full of boosted people, even in Champion/Diamond lobbies. Reporting a player is a joke, absolute joke, it doesn't work at all. I am sorry to myself playing this much of this darn game.

I bought this many years ago from steam. Now I need an epic games account to even play local multiplayer. I do not want to make an epic games account. I want to play the game I bought. Absolute fraud and illegal in many countries. Shame on you.

where do you start? The answer is you dont, this game is one of the very few games you cant just pick up and be good at it actually takes time to be good at it takes time to understand the game and its mechanics to understand the community i have over 6k hours over all accounts and have peaked high gc 2 after that the game becomes super super comp and takes dedication and time i just dont have anymore the game has become far more than what anybody scoped from SSTARPBC to the year 2025 Rocket League this game is not for the weak minded or easily distraught, the community can be very toxic and will put you down if you cant triple flip reset musty psycho sting pop ceiling shuffle triple tap sandwich 7 heli reset breezi bar down and even IF you manage that youll just be called a sweat and a no life and jobless so, with that being said play the game how you want to play it and dont let anyone bring you down the game has freedom for every player on the field no matter 1v1 2v2 3v3 and even 4v4 if your manic enough to play, to have different skill sets and playstyles

The devs don't care about this game anymore. It used to be great, and then they got greedy. It still has it's moments for the individuals that fell in love with it when it was new and flashy. Now it's old and outdated, I'd say wait for the sequal, but everyone knows it'll never happen..

I've played Rocket League for about 210.6 hours, and it’s been an incredibly fun experience. The gameplay is fast-paced, exciting, and easy to pick up but hard to master. The cool cars add a unique twist to the classic soccer formula, making every match feel fresh and entertaining.

What I love most is how quick the matches are – they keep the action nonstop, and there’s no time wasted. The community is generally friendly, and I've had a lot of positive experiences with teammates, which makes the game even more enjoyable.

If you're looking for a fast, competitive, and fun game to play with friends (or solo), I highly recommend Rocket League. It’s one of those games you can just dive into and have a great time every time.

I started this game out on PS , where i put roughly 2000 hours in..now , after an additional 2277 hours into the PC version..this game has become absolute trash. Friends and I called it when Epic first took over that the game would go downhill , as it has. Epic has become more concerned with releasing a new car/decal/trail/etc every week/other week instead of keeping servers running smoothly or fixing the bugs in the game. the new items were OK at first , but seeing as they're now charging $25USD per car , or $20USD for goal explosions , its honestly just become a stupid moneysink. Do yourself a favor and go play Rematch when it fully releases instead of the hot pile of garbage that RL has become.

I have 1200 hours in this game, haven't played for a while and now I'm locked out by some epic games bullshit. fuck epic!

This is one of my childhood favorite games, be glad you can't buy it here anymore because epic games essentially ate the game, threw it up then ate it again, crapped into metal box and then shipped in on a cargo ship out in the sun for 4 weeks to get to Australia in which spiders opened the box and crawled into the game and started playing it. If you ever wanna meet one, just play ranked until you make it to platinum and then find one player that only skips a goal replay if they didn't score it.

Best of the best. I think it should be awarded for being the HARDEST game in the gaming history. There's more BILLIONAIRES than Supersonic Legend's ( Best rank. )

Hands down the game I've put the most hours in. I probably have another 1500 hours across various platforms (Rookie numbers, I know) and I'm still trash at this game.

I've been playing this game for several years now. Lately, demos have been extremely bad. This may be me whining, but 90 percent of games, there is constant demoing. It's disheartening because I really enjoy this game and the challenge, but enough is enough. They need to implement some kind of penalty for constant or back to back demos. I know others have noticed. It has never been this bad. I hope the devs see this. Something needs to change.

I've played over 1,000 hours and still suck. There's definitely something wrong with the game and my teammates.

Been playing since 2015 but now I cant even play one fucking game without lag and there is to many smurfs in low ranks. I uninstalled and wont be playing anymore.

Best game ever to play no matter the mood. Great vibe game.

Rocket League is an All-time great game with each game only lasting 5 minutes.
You can choose how serious you want to take the game, and the skill ceiling is plenty large for anyone.
Low ranks are extremely fun and high ranks are very satisfying. The game is also free which is a huge plus.

Can no longer play Fuck Epic for requiring me to have an Epic account to access this game.

Used to like this but suddenly now can't play it because it's forcing me to log in on browser with an account I don't have so until it's fixed it's essentially bricked for me.

Bring back Snowdays and keep it in there you cowards. Preferably ranked but I would accept it just coming back and staying as a casual mode

"skill based matchmaking" doesnt exist in this game. the amount of braindead teammates you'll get is disgusting.

Worst game I've ever seen, no updates, a toxic community you've never seen, even the local dealer isn't as toxic as that, seriously... Insults in every game, postponements in every game. And gameplay-wise, between your teammates who ff when you barely take a single goal... useless updates, “new maps” every 3 months that “just” add grass... IG bugs where you pass through the ball, cardboard servers... Nothing goes...

Game requireing a epic account to play, this is not mentioned on storepage and since the game is unlisted, i suspect the storepage isnt gona be updated to reflect this. It is still however a breach of contract as we did not get what we payed for.

Save yourselves the time. Read a book or somethin. Theres so much more out there than to constantly want to crush your balls with a half ton truck.

Thanks to some Epic Games horseshit, I get stuck in an account setup loop and can no longer play. That's 2449 hours lost/wasted. F**k Epic.

Rocket league was at its peak when Psyonix was the owner of the game. Since Epic took over. they have only turned it into a cash grab. You would be able to unlock random items for free or to trade your items with other players. Now you're stuck with all of these blueprints and have to pay to unlock them. It's a shame what they did to this game and the community which I thought was better as well. The game play is still alright, but if you're new to it. Idk if it would be worth starting

Uff.. Once upon a time i paid something like 15-20euro for this game, then it went F2P, and then it was entirely removed from the storefront. Now i see news of them removing some sort of secondary in-game currency..

I miss the times of the actual original game called "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars"... I still have the stupid theme song stuck in my head.

They're such thieves! I paid for this game, and now it's free? Everyone knows what it means when a paid base game goes free: microtransactions or endless, lousy DLCs. The video game industry gets more disgusting every day.

Epic Games is simply the worst developers in gaming history... once they took over they completely stopped listening to the community because its greed over gratitude.... ive played every ranking system game you can possibly think of and the rank mmr placements when u que up is the worst as a champ i shouldnt have to que up with nothing but gc's that are teamed up with plat.... but yet i cant play 3's with someone thats the same mmr as me? but the only thing they care about is crossbar sounds and take away trading when everybody wants it back but they dont care they just wanna add even worse season rewards, and worse battle passes.. if ur new to this game save ur money even its free bc ur saving ur sanity. id rather go to prison for 25+ years then ever and i mean EVER support epic games.. epic needs to be bought out by someone who actually cares about the gaming community... im tired of queing up and not playing against someone whos my rank.

After the spring update, I cant log in to play, Changing my password does not work, I cannot log in to epic games , I actually paid money for this game that's how long I have been playing. nobody will help me resolve this at epic. and many others have this same issue. guess they got my cash and they are done with me as the game is free to play. 8 years of collecting and playing....

I'm Sure nobody's looking here anymore but here is my take. This game was gold then epic came along and added the shop, removed trading, hiked prices, removed the game from steam, and just generally ruined the community for it. I'm depressed even just typing this used to play this game so much and i miss being able to trade for an item i want. don't waste your time or your money on cosmetics. i hope epic wakes up someday and realizes that they cant compete with steam and also cant compete with the player-base.

Toxic, Frustrating, and Addictive – My 1.8K Hours in Rocket League

For anyone thinking of starting Rocket League, please, don't. I've sunk over 1.8k hours into this game, and every time I play, I wonder why.

At Champ+, it feels like every match is against a team of smurfs. It’s incredibly frustrating to face opponents who are clearly way above your skill level, and the matchmaking system seems broken in that regard. But that’s just one of the many issues.

The fact that we still don’t have a solo queue for duos or trios is mind-boggling. After all these years, it’s hard to believe Epic still hasn’t addressed something so fundamental. This game feels more and more like a money-grab, especially with every new season bringing out a Rocket Pass that's somehow worse than the last. Yet, I still buy it out of habit. It’s just routine now.

I’ve played so much that I know every texture of the same three maps. The lack of real content updates is staggering. The most “exciting” new feature I’ve seen is a ping sound when the ball hits the crossbar… which somehow gets marketed as if it’s a game-changing innovation. Seriously.

But, despite all of this, I keep coming back. I’ve uninstalled this game countless times, yet I always reinstall it. It’s a toxic cycle. Rocket League is like a drug: incredibly frustrating, humiliating at times, but also addicting. If you value your sanity, I’d stay away, but if you're like me, you’ll probably find yourself back in the thick of it, fighting through all the nonsense.

I adore this game! Fun mechanics, smooth feeling in the gameplay, cool graphics. Good job devs. But the community is toxic as hell.
