BEST GAME IN EXISTANCE
This game put me in a coma. I'm currently being prescribed pills of missionol, taken twice daily. Overall the title doesn't lie, very jazzpunk, much nonsensical jargon.
Generally I like whimsical stories but this was just slapstick. Not my type of humor and the graphics didn't live up to my expectations either.
great game
for fun game 8/10
It is a fun little game.
This is hilarious
love a game where im encouraged to interact with random stuff
it didnt load
This game is so witty that I feel like any kind of joke review I try to write will do it a disservice.
yes
9/10, funny
I feel lobotomized in a good way
Very interesting, mind boggling game - there was something around every corner! (literally) this game is full of misc hidden secrets and references. although most of the time i wasnt aware of what was happening... i thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough of this game!
yawww this game is fun i like all the sidequests
AY SAPE JASJASJASJJASJASJASJASJ
this is the best game to ever exist
I fell in love with this game back when I was going through jacksepticeye's backlog about 8 years ago. it's one of the few lets plays I have watched over and over again. it's one of the first games I bought when I got a steam account. I've replayed this many times over the years since then. I wrote a poem about this game's story for marks.
Jazzpunk is so silly goofy and I love it. it's easter eggs the video game. I feel like if you turned me into a game this would be it (maybe because it's imprinted on me so much? chicken and egg? idk). I love trying to get all the flavour text in my games and this takes it to the next level. the art style and the way they model characters is so unique and has definitely influenced what I find appealing in art today. the locations are grounded but at the same time whimsical with gorgeous shapes and color palettes. the intro is so cool as well!!
despite me talking about how life changing this game is, I do not think it's worth the full price, especially a decade later, and especially if you're not a freak for it like I am. I played this game again for this review as fast as I could and it took me about ~50 mins (I still could not ignore quite a bit of the side stuff, and even discovered more when I thought I'd found everything!), and my longest exhaustive playthrough was 3-4 hours. it goes on sale often enough, so please make sure you get it + the dlc (more of the same <3) next time it does!!
thanks for reading my self indulgent ramblings that I wrote for a badge. I love this game and I hope you can too.
its good, its me
silly game
i goon to this
Meh, disappointing.
unironically the best game i have ever played in my life. this was a true work of art. would never ever not recommend
incredible
Intelligent in it's simplicity
I donno what the fuck I played but...I tell you what...It was interesting and fun
Very jazz very punk.
Jazzpunk
Can't really even tell you what I just played... Definitely a work of art I can tell you that. Weird humor all throughout, lots of different secrets and engaging mini-games in each section, which all help keep you distracted from the already directionless plot!
I myself rushed through the game for all achievements, which took roughly 3 hours. However in just those 3 hours I can say with confidence, this is one of the strangest games I've ever played.
Thanks for the laughs, definitely need more random games like these to release! 2014... peak gaming
best game
Very funny
I watched ihascupquake play this as a kid and it is just as amazing and funny as I remember. It's a complete acid trip in the best way possible, highly recommend.
absolute indie
Ate and smuggled a pigeon, gave multiple people 4th degree burns, turned a guy into a lizard, and poisoned a guy so bad he threw up his kidney (in no particular order). Brilliant and my average Tuesday.
This visuals are really good so are the jokes, well i like random humor so it fits. Anyways if you have ADHD you'd like this game.
silly goofy game
I got every single achievement in this game, so it could probably be said I quite enjoy it
i fucking love this gaem
Nostalgic, feels like a fever dream
quite funny, love the art style, lots of hidden secrets so a 2nd play through is still fun
but you can definitely get better games for £11, content wise. I'd recommend buying on sale
still the game is very good
The best game I've played
10/10 best game
Jazzpunk: Director’s Cut is a game that initially piqued my interest with its quirky and random charm. However, my enthusiasm quickly waned. The level design, despite offering hints, often felt like progress was hiding in plain sight, leading to frustration rather than enjoyment.
While I found some amusement during my first playthrough, the novelty wore off fast, and I was left wanting the experience to end. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this game. If you’re curious, perhaps wait for a sale, but otherwise, it’s not worth your time.
Favorite game of all time hands down. I wish more people knew about this! so wicked
Played way to much of this game over the course of like 5 years. So much to unpack for such a short experience, it's really as dense as you want it to be. Really recommend as just a laugh and mess around game, but also people don't take the art and music for this game seriously enough. Havent seen a game like it since.
2014 games are unmatched
The only disappointing thing about this game is that it ends. Tons of fun to play on a lazy afternoon.
Quick and ridiculous walking sim. Lots of laughs and good references to other movies, games, and media. Some of the NPC dialogue is just too off the wall not to be great. Somewhat replayable, the whole game is 2 hours or so with maybe another hour to complete everything. Definitely worth a run through if you can find it on sale.
One of like 6 actually good games
Absurdism: The Video Game.
This game makes you feel like a confused kid who fell asleep to Billy and Mandy, but woke up to Adult Swim. For the most part, you walk around and weird stuff happens to you. Often it's genuinely hilarious, but even if it's not, you'll exhale from your nose and think "good one".
amazing game lammoooooo
