Slay monsters, blast wands, hoard potions, and loot everything.
- A silky smooth mix of 90s FPS combat with classic RPG mechanics.
- In these dungeons once you're dead you stay dead. Permadeath means that when you die, you begin each run into the dungeon anew.
- Tough as nails gameplay will test your skills, no grinding will save you here.
- A procedural dungeon that will keep you on your toes, no two runs will ever be the same.
- Delicious chunky pixels!
Easy to pick up gameplay, but difficult to master. The dungeon has been waiting for you.

Charming little roguelike, I love the art style of this one. I highly recommend it if you like some casual fun
It's good, reminds me a lot of older RPG games, lots of potions, armor, weapons and scrolls to collect. Each play through is different so good value for money, gets quite a bit more difficult later on and haven't finished it yet. The combat is fairly simple, and you can die pretty easily from the hazards like bombs exploding or falling.
i used to play this game on the amazon kindle fire when i was a kid and it still holds up great game
Been playing this game on and off for years and it's always enjoyable. Art is great and mechanics are easy to learn. Controls are even easier to learn. Only thing is that there are elements in the game that were clearly meant to be expanded on and were not. Still a fantastic game despite this and doesn't give an incomplete feeling and has great replay value. 9/10 for me. 10/10 with mods haha.
It's a rogue-like which is simple and addictive and has come an extremely long way since its initial release. It's very easy to pick up, with simple game mechanics, but the execution of how weapons and death work mean it never gets repetitive. You can decide to be a wizard on one run, and then a mace wielder the next. Same with enemies: Different enemies do different things. And now- this is new since last I've played- they've added a leveling system, shops that occur during your delve, and permanent expansions on your backpack. None of these were there last time I played. There's a reason I keep revisiting this every year or so.
Pixel dungeon 3d
abandonware
Whilst Delver has some merits, I ultimately can't recommend the game because it's abandonware that is labelled as complete. From dungeon branches that are just one or two rooms with a poorly-hidden key "puzzle", that were clearly banged out as placeholders or filler, to giant, ominous doors that can't be opened, that are labelled to a section of dungeon that doesn't exist - the game is full of truncated, amputated content.
The content that remains is relatively undeveloped and samey - you see the beginnings of character in things like elemental magic and the like, but no exploration of what might be strong or weak against it. Again, every time you turn around, you see the structure of a much more ambitious game that never quite eventuated.
What's actually present is... functional. Plain, but functional, and you can go from the start to the end, so it is technically complete. But it's not worth it's cost ($21.50 AUD) at the time of review (October 2024), six-and-a-half years after release, not by a long way. And the developers have gone dark - there will be no future updates, this is not a stepping stone, funding a bigger project.
It's not terrible, it just isn't really good.
I often look back at this dungeon crawler and wonder what more it could've been before it was abandoned. The mods are great though.
Fun, what else is there to say? Explore a dungeon ever changing, what more could one ask for?
An amazing and simplistic dungeon crawler, despite a few hicups.
The game is really simplistic and throws you straight into the game with it's small hints of lore and simplistic battle system. It's a fun roguelite.
The game can be challenging in certain parts, but that is mostly due to my own mishaps, aka not being careful.
I really do recommend to add mods to the game as soon as you beat the game at least once, mods give the game more life and more stuff to do and find.
The few bad apples to note in the game is that it's not finished. Yes yes, the store page says otherwise, but thats that. Im saying this because of the lost city giant gate.
Everything suggests, that the area is not finished.
The sewers room generation is weird, due to the fact that some walls are "secrets",
i'm tryin my best to like this game..... but im not loving the combat and it seems like every death is due to a bomb accident. the maps are interesting but i'm kindof not sure if i can get the orb or whatever it is.
This review is after 1 run that lasted about an hour and a half.
Controls - 8/10 (Very well done, but needs a dodge or run button)
Design - 10/10 (Amazing Cartoony retro artstyle)
Story - 4/10 (Not much in the way of backstory, or it's just not explained well)
Looting Mechanics - 10/10 (Random item/armor/weapon drops, be sure to manage your invo! Weapons Break!!!)
Combat - 8/10 (Sometimes hard to tell attack distance for both you and the enemies)
Fun! - 10/10 (All in all, this was a really fun game. I love a good looter~)
da gaem good
A lovely little dungeon crawler with a surprisingly competent level editor and mod support. Probably one of the best first person rogue-likes that I've played. They manage to keep the dungeons feeling handmade and thoughtfully designed while also retaining a healthy amount of randomness - which is pretty rare for a 3D rogue-like. The art style is cute and crispy and there's plenty of post-processing effects to choose from to alter the vibe of the game to your liking. My only gripe is that the looping music does get a little fatiguing. I wish there were more silent moments to highlight the ambient sound in the levels, but I guess you can always just turn the music down or off.
Anyways, it's very good. If you're looking for a first person rogue-like that isn't a shooter, Delver's probably the game for you - there's not many better than this one. If you're looking for something a bit more complex and punishing then you could try out Barony.
This is one of those games that you really must have for a dungeon crawler/roguelike.
It's extremely colorful and the enemies all looking stinking cute.
