Was recommended Skullgirls as an introduction to fighters as someone who has never played fighters before with anything outside of Smash Brothers Brawl.

I really like the steampunk aesthetics.

I still have no idea how to play fighting games and couldn't complete the storyline on the easiest difficulty. Suspect my aging hand-eye co-ordination and reaction speeds are not enough for this.

Been playing this for about 10 years (started on XB360), and it's still one of the best fighting games of all time. It taught me how to play fighting games without just mashing, as well as introducing me to the FGC. DLC is a bit overpriced though, but they're sooo damn fun.

Alright, let’s get this out of the way—Skullgirls 2nd Encore used to be the cool kid at the 2D fighter table, the one with hand-drawn animation, a killer soundtrack, and a seriously shady sense of humor. But then, for reasons that defy all logic, the devs decided to scrub away every last ounce of edge the game had. We're talking about the DLC content disappearing like a bad ex, the sexualized characters being wiped clean (even though, let's be real, that was basically the game's whole appeal in the first place), and don’t even get me started on the history edits. They removed references to the Second World War and cleaned up the ♥♥♥ storyline to avoid too much "police brutality" (because yeah, that’s what we all need, right? A sanitized history lesson). Oh, and they also removed the Russian announcer’s voice, clearly because of the war with Ukraine. This game, which had nothing to do with it, now has everything to do with it. It's still a playable fighter, sure, but calling this mess "unchanged" is like saying a cake is still a cake after you pour bleach on it.

Game can be played on both pc and mac. Very fun and competitive. Combos might be hard to learn but rewarding.

I did not like the censorship. Exposure removal is fine but Big Band, even Ergets. So real and the inconsistencies.

Love the game got it 2 days ago and im enjoing it so far the only thing quick play is not great for new players you get destroyed but the over all community is great. the charcters are all unique and charming, it can be pretty chaotic at times you have no clue what is happening but its super fun

Censorship or no censorship, I've been a fan since 2019 and the game actually gives me some amount of nostalgia! I still suck incredibly bad at it tho.

A great fighting game that needed way more singleplayer content (7/10)

So, I played this while the first round of DLC characters were being created. I stopped playing after Eliza, Beo and Robo were added.
The cast before Eliza was pretty good and balanced, the last add-ins for that cycle kinda killed the game for me. Eliza, Beo and Robo were bad IMO but everyone seems to like them. Ruined character balance and added a lot of BS assists like beam assist when THIS game does not need it. Not Mahvel, don't do that shit.
I can only imagine how much more assist BS there is and 0 neutral is now played, no, finally adding the meme annie, will not get me to return. Censorship and hiring Low/No experience devs who used to play the game instead. (((SMELLS LIKE NEPOTISM HERE!!! LIAM!!!)))

El juego es increible! toma tiempo y practica acustumbrarse a los movimientos de cada personaje pero en un par de dias te encantará el juego :b es muy divertido y la historia del os personajes son muy creativas he interesantes

recomiendo totalmente el juego, es una maravillla como cada animacion es fluida y constantes, mas la musica de fondo que es hermosa al oido, me gusta cada un de los personajes del juego, una obra de arte caramba 👌✨
