Описание
Set in a post-apocalyptic world strewn with cast-off machines, Primordia tells the story of Horatio Nullbuilt, a stoic robot who values his solitude and independence. Horatio spends his days studying the Book of Man, sparring with his droid companion Crispin, and tinkering with the airship they call home — a peaceful existence that becomes threatened when a rogue robot steals the energy source that the pair needs to survive.
When Horatio and Crispin’s search for energy brings them to the dazzling city of Metropol, the simple quest to recover their stolen power core leads to unexpected discoveries about Horatio’s origins and a new understanding of the legendary humans who walked the earth before him.

Point and click, Sci-fi settings, melancholy, desert wastelands and low-fi mad max vibes. It's al in there, play it.
I need a Crispin irl
very, very good game.
Buy it. Solve it. Love it. What a well progressed story over such a short time frame. And the dialogue is very organic to the situation and the characters.
A b'sodding good game even in 2024!
“Doesn’t anyone use a b’sodding *key* anymore?”
– Crispin Horatiobuilt, version 1.
At its *stolen* core, Primordia is a game about doors—locked doors. Many locked doors, none of which have a b’sodding key! This keyless existence drives both its UNIIC narrative (had to be done) and its occasionally convoluted puzzles, which had me trudging back and forth, scouring its pixilated environments for clues. While this can sometimes feel frustrating, it’s also an absolute joy to relax with.
Primordia’s engrossing characters stick with you long after the credits roll, but the game’s atmosphere is the real draw (pixel art pun!). Triple-A companies have spent millions chasing the magic Wormwood Studios achieves with just a few hundred thousand well-placed pixels. Even twelve years later, I still find myself returning to experience its strange and beautifully crafted, post-human world of key-substitution logic.
If you’re looking for a thought-provoking and often hilarious point-and-click adventure with no small amount of visual and narrative artistry, you’ve found it! Just keep a guide handy—some of those puzzles really are quite… puzzling.
Relaxing point and click with a good story.
Good visuals
Good story
Good voice acting
A great adventure game that's held up over the last 12 years, well worth your time.
Pros:
* Great voice acting, art direction and sound design
* Avoids adventure game logic with the puzzles, even if they're not immediately obvious the logic behind the solution makes sense
* It's impossible to die or get stuck and unable to progress, choices you make influence what endings are available.
* Good character and plot writing.
* The datapad automatically makes note of any codes or information needed for future puzzles or events
Cons:
* Sometimes it can be confusing where you're supposed to go next
Pixel adventure, It's good.
First time I played a game from this publisher was Gemini Rue, got it on GOG.
Now this one.
I'm definitely going to play more games from those guys.
*Edit*
"developer" -> "publisher", as a dev pointed out, they are not the same, still both devs are cool.
To finish the "DARK FUTURES BUNDLE" (although I split them between two platforms)
I also now need to finally play through,
Technobabylon on Steam and Shardlight on GOG, already got them, but not played yet.
I will check out the rest, Resonance, looks cool, thanks for the tip Mark.
masterpiece
A very captivating adventure, I loved all the little references. The runtime is perfect, but its a little hard to platinum without a guide, not impossible though. 10/10
Really cool story, world-building, and soundtrack. If you're like me, and not used to point and click adventures, you might need a guide. Highly recommend trying it out.
It's Dave Gilbert... just buy it
I'd rather just watch a playthrough on YouTube.
First of all: the atmosphere, characters, and world building are all great. The world that's been created here is very fleshed out and feels like something that might exist out there somewhere. It also looks like it might even have a good story. I just don't want to play this game.
It's a retro style of adventure game. When you get one of these games you have to expect a certain amount of frustration and tedium that seems to come with it. You need to figure out which pieces go together...and where that new piece goes to solve the puzzle. It's a formula that's been around for over 30 years.
This one didn't seem to keep me engaged. First I was just playing by myself. Then I had to start using a guide. Then I did something differently than the guide had done so now I was on my own again...and I didn't feel like playing anymore.
Honestly, it might seem like a strange thing to say, but I think I'd rather just watch someone else play the game so I could get the story without the gameplay. I haven't played it in a decade, but this company also made Gemini Rue and I remember that game being more enjoyable, so maybe buy that instead.
Like any point and click, it's frustrating and obtuse at times, but when the riddles make sense, the game's message of a world dying after eons of warfare feebly shines through. The story has so much power and emotion, told by machines trapped in the same vices that their makers made, trying to understand what was Man's plan on Earth. Quite poignant.
Primordia is the best Wadjet Eye game I've played, better than Broken Sword and as weird and rich as Black Isle's Planescape Torment. It's old and you'll need to adjust options before playing for windowing or borderless fullscreen. I suggest playing it at a lower resolution as it was meant to be, 1920 x 1200 max, to avoid pixelation with headphones on to be fully absorbed by the game's somber ambience while you're introduced to a post-apocalyptic hellscape where man only lives on in the distant memories of the machines that built the machines that built the machines that we left behind. If you're a fan of point and click games, this will be one of your favorites too.
Love it but I use a walkthrough (I'm bad at puzzle but love to play it 😭), The story is very awesome. Hope there's some new titles from this dev again!
What a smart, multilayered game with excellent writing. I found the start a little slow, but once we got to the city, things got very interesting. The puzzles were challenging. Many required logic, which was unexpected. Make sure to save in the second elevator to explore various possible endings.
Great story, challenging puzzles.
Great look and a fun story. The Best Point & Click game.
Thank You for the Hungarian language.
Loved it so much!
Hope we as a species will produce the things that will not be hell bent on destroying and dominating anything they see!
I like playing point and click adventure games, but a lot of the time I can end up getting frustrated with how obtuse puzzle solutions end up being. This is the first time I've played a game in this genre and just enjoyed it all the way through, and it had a lot more variety to the puzzles than I'm used to in these games. The characters were very neat, I loved the back and forth banter between Horatio and Crispin, and had a lot of fun piecing the lore together from whatever scraps of information I could find. I loved the art style and design for the robots, the grittiness of the world just barely getting by on the skin of its teeth. Very cool game!
Avventura grafica punta e clicca, bella storia di fastascienza distopica, pixel art ben fatta, enigmi impegnativi, bella sfida, finali multipli. E' stato un piacere giocarci.
A surprisingly solid point and click adventure game. Good characterization, story, lore and art!
The dialogue and funny bits snuggled in with both main and side interactions were a nice treat and got a few chuckles and even a bark of a laughter out of me!
It does have some obtuse puzzling and questionable progression points, which happens a lot with this genre, but it wasn't egregious like some other games.
I'm glad I played it!
