Вы живете в деревушке Предвестие и обожаете кушать пальчики маленьких детей. Будучи монстром, вы умеете оказываться в самых интересных местах. Что вы сделаете, если при вас три рассвирепевших медведя найдут девочку в своей избушке? Или если вы наткнетесь на волка, который преследует девушку в красной шапке?
Пока вы маленькое чудовище, ваш выбор весьма прост. Станете ли вы гоняться за бедными мышками (+1 жестокость) или защитите их от собак (+1 доброта)? Признаетесь ли вы в том, что за гриб съели ваши друзья (+1 честность), или заступитесь за них (+1 храбрость)? В молодости поступки формируют вашу личность.
Но рано или поздно все вырастают. Чудовища и люди не ладят веками, а по ту сторону волшебных лесов есть поселения людей. Если дети людей заблудятся в темной чаще без следа тропинки, станете ли вы пугать их веселья ради (+1 жестокость)? Вернете ли их родителям, чтобы доказать, что не всех чудовищ надо бояться и ненавидеть (+1 доброта)? Или вы откормите детишек и приготовите из них человеческое фуа-гра — настоящее лакомство для чудовищ? Все это происходит на фоне усиливающейся вражды монстров и людей.

- Более 900 вариантов выбора. Гоняйтесь за Котом в сапогах. Проглотите Гензеля и Гретель. Слопайте трех поросят.
- При каждом прохождении вас ждут новые приключения и около дюжины возможных концовок.
- И еще: Станьте нейрохирургом без лишней волокиты с медицинским образованием. Неплохо!

This game is so cute and wholesome, but I also do understand why some people don't like it. It's too repetitive after a few playthroughs. I played it through four times, but after failing to get a new ending despite playing very differently on my fourth run, I lost the motivation to play again. Each run takes around 45 minutes, which is way too long for such repetitive content when you might not even get a new ending. Unlike a conventional visual novel, you can't skip sections you've already read because you need to forge your personality, earn respect, etc., and the game mostly consists of one-off mini stories in the form of "adventures" so there's really no underlying storyline to skip in the first place. On the same token, your personality and respect level do very little to change the content except at certain key stages. And several of the endings seem to be slightly different variations of the same thing.
Basically, the idea is way better than the implementation. But it's still very cute and worth playing through a few times, especially if you get it on sale.
"Monster loves you" is a text based game, an interactive story both for adults who enjoy reading children's books and kids. It's a wonderful storyline with nice music and great humor (btw English here is quite difficult for those who have it as a second language). Monsters are odd and incredibly cute, they will melt your heart and make you smile during the whole game. You can play as one and choose your character, behavior and destiny. Welcome to the cutest monster-world ever! And remember - monster loves you!
You can kill and eat a child.
Very quick and simple choice-driven game that has a very straightforward plot. With the 44 minutes I played, I completed the entire game once and I'm sure you could definitely go down a few other routes and get some new info/story pathways. Don't expect much more then a few clicks here and there for making choices but Monster Loves You is a charming short play for people who want a quick simple story.
THis game is wholsome
Honestly this is just a cute little game. I didn't encounter any bugs while playing (not gameplay ones, some of the monsters do look kinda bug-like though) but do keep in mind that I've only played the game for 3 hours, so I might just not have run into any at the time of this review.
This game was heartwarming, fun, and it put a smile on my face. Going through and finding all the different ways to play the game or endings you can reach is also enjoyable. I'd say if this style of game is your thing, or if you're just looking for a game for a little bit of fun, then it's worth it.
