Figuring out the perfect combination of plants, animals and minerals to generate the most resources is an interesting puzzle in itself. There's so many achievements to reach as well so I'm never bored playing.
It's good overall
i havent played this game in years but i remembered it existed and got really mad
A great strategy that will suit everyone who loves this genre. A good visual style, addictive gameplay and an interesting progression system will keep you engaged for several tens of hours. Among the disadvantages, I would like to mention the small letters that make it difficult to read and, unfortunately, there is no option to change the font size in the settings, and a major problem is frequent memory leaks that cause lags and require you to re-enter the game from time to time. You can certainly buy this title at a discount.
Old An old classic, but still a good game, unfortunately quite poorly running on modern hardware. With a large number of objects on the planet and the distance of the camera, the fps starts to slow down a lot. Most often when running the game at 50% will crash right at the moment of loading the mission.
Неплохая игра, самое то расслабиться на пару вечеров после работы. Приятная рисовка, музыка и сама игра довольно простая.
It's the same thing over and over again, if you like that type of thing then this is for you
Very nice game that allows much replayability and quite some challenge endgame while having easy to understand game mechanics...and cheap as f***, really worth it! I look forward testing the second opus.
good and simple gameplay. buy on sale
I got it for like $1 it was on my wishlist. worth every penny!
chill game
bad no fun

I cannot recommend this game. In the 2.4 hours I have attempted to play, The game has crashed 4 times.
Units move too slowly, the game quickly becomes boring.
Solid game. It saves it's fines in the documents folder those so Windows Defender likes to block it. If it crashes every 10 minutes that's because it's blocking the autosave and it crashes.
You're welcome.
Meh.
Nice to try, but Reus 2 is way better game, buy that.
Ecosystems are way too rigit on limited space and due to lack of initial information on what species upgrade into what, it is very hard to do puzzle-logistics on something that is in core puzzle-logistics game.
Also, if I am not wrong there is no water plants, so oceans seems underdeveloped and graphics are very basic.
What I hate is RNG thou. At the start of the planet, you pick 3 goals mainly based on how villages develop. So, let us say you NEED to only use plants in one village. Hard enough, but each village gets RNG challanges as they advance and what if your challange for this village comes with "bonus for every animal/mineral". Tough luck I guess? So yea, They did great by making you be the one that has to place villages in Reus 2, decide goals, decide ecosystems you get, way more puzzle-friendly but keeping RNG elements still there.
EDIT: Ok, played it some more.
Upgrades and how they connect can be found under UPGRADES, so this one turned out to be solved. Other complaints are mostly still there, but I figured that I can at any time destroy a village, so that helps with RNG. What I still don't like besides already mentioned is how game blocks your progress. So there is no fast forward, you play on 30, 60 or 120 min playloop that is going to be longer, because you will pause a lot, which feels like I sometimes have to want 5-10 min or more for game to "finish" while I already did everything I wanted to do, especially given that I am likely blocked from progressing till I finish the game. It is not BAD, just feels like a waste of time, I would very much like to be able to finish the game once I feel there is nothing more for me to be able to do.
... I think it is a nice game now that I know how to play it, yet, I keep asking myself why am I playing it while Reus 2 is a thing.
Unique and has an interesting gameplay progression. Simple to start but gets more complicated pretty quickly. Don't think I've played anything quite like it.
I really enjoy this game, but it unfortunately still has a few problems.
1. It often crashes at unpredictable moments (at startup, mid-game, late-game, etc).
2. The text is unbearably small and difficult to read.
3. There are no settings that allow players to customize UI scaling, video quality, etc.
It's frustrating that such a fun and charming game is so difficult to play without crashes and frequent squinting.
You can play if there is nothing better
Really nice game.
no please
I can't get it to work, it crashes right after it loads a game
Reus — A Fantastic God Simulator
Reus is a game that offers a unique opportunity to feel like the creator of the world! The main goal is to establish harmony between nature and human settlements by using the abilities of four giants, each controlling an aspect of nature: water, land, forest, or swamp.

What I Liked:
✅ Relaxing Atmosphere
The game is perfect for unwinding. Its beautiful visuals, calming music, and intuitive mechanics create a soothing experience.
✅ Original Concept
Controlling giants and interacting with settlements makes the gameplay unique and engaging.
✅ Challenge for the Mind
Reus requires a strategic approach: carefully place resources and develop settlements to prevent them from becoming greedy.
✅ Balance Between Simplicity and Complexity
The game is easy to pick up for newcomers while offering enough depth for experienced players.

Conclusion:
If you enjoy god simulators or strategic games, Reus is an excellent choice. It provides hours of enjoyment, relaxation, and a chance to create your ideal world!
Highly recommended!
Too many moving parts for such a simple game. Gives me a headache and doesn't give me joy when I succeed. Anxiety game
Super interesting and innovative – truly a gem! Resus may look simple at first glance, but it offers unique challenges that make it stand out. Its gameplay is engaging and thought-provoking, providing a refreshing twist in the puzzle genre. Definitely worth trying if you're looking for something different and enjoyable.
.
The tips/instructions are in practically microscopic font and there is no way to make it bigger. It's super maddening to try to figure out how to play this game.
It's a nice puzzle game.
It's just really slow, and kinda confusing
really nice game
fun
Fun way to waste some time
I cannot say I recommend this game. I had played it back in 2013 or so when it first came out, and stopped playing it. Then completely forgot about it. I saw that a sequel to the game had released, and recognised the name. So I decided to come back to this game and see why I had so few hours in what looked to be a decent game.
Boredom. Boredom is why I stopped playing this game after an hour or so a decade ago, and boredom is why I stopped playing this game after a few hours now. I like city building games, I like strategy games, resource management games, etc. These are all my cup of tea. But with this game... you just have to wait so long for everything to happen, and I am at a point where there really isn't all that much time to play around with. Then when you finally get things going, you are totally screwed by how villages randomly grow/what upgrades they want to focus on. It is extremely frustrating.
So a combination of boredom and then frustration is what has completely killed this game for me. Maybe the sequel will be better? I don't know, but I honestly don't think I can recommend this game. If you do get it, at least unless you get it for super cheap with a solid sale.
I say this: It was quite fun for a few hours but the fun fades out after a while.
Nice graphics and the idea is good but it becomes tedious remembering all the synergies and there is only so much you can do.
Never got around to playing much of this one. As of writing this review, however, I've had a good few sessions with Reus 2 and so I'll recommend this one if nothing else than just to see where the series came from. I hope these developers continue to make games!
great chill game with complex resource management
