i actually have way more time than this .. you can probably guess why ..
though i outgrew this program a while ago it's still good if you know literally nothing about gamedev. anything past VX ace is good too

I can make abominations with this without knowing how to code. What else is there to ask for in life.
I cry
It's very easy to learn, although it is very confusing as soon as you first open it. If you are going to purchase this, do not read or watch the tutorials. You will get stuck, and it will make it much less fun than it should be. I learned it fully in less than 12 hours of just playing the games people made in it, and looking at the inner workings of what people made, or tinkering with it. Its one of the few games that truly make me happy, because I knew I was producing something worthwhile. And, when I got stuck, I just looked up the problem online to fix it.
It's worth it, and can be used for games that aren't just RPGS.
There are a lot of free sprites/animations and other kits that the community puts out, but I feel like with time, learning, and possibly some code you can make plenty of different styles of great video games through RPG MAKER VX ACE. I've already had too many idea's myself, but I just need to follow through with learning Ruby coding.
The gam is good for those who wanna make rpg games. It is recommended to tinker around before making big projects tho.
Personally, I like it a lot, even more than MV. It´s very user friendly.

Finally, a program that can allow me to make 360p jrpg games I'll never finish easily.
Short and simple, there are later versions that are easier to use and have more assets readily available, but I still enjoy using this program more. I recommend it if you don't want to mess around with Java though.

Yes, I do recommend this program to other users, the simplicity of use makes it an amazing program to create videogames and RPGs, even if it looks too simple, it's very robust and allows for a lot more than expected.

Creating RPGs with this is such a delight. Sure, sometimes its hard to find how to do what you want in the menus, but eventually you figure it out, and realize its rather straightforward. It just takes patience, and youtube tutorials certainly help. 10/10, I've absolutely adored using this.

Great at what it does
This is RPG Maker at it's peak. Plenty of assets, a great art style, and a living community!
I have enjoyed using this software to make a couple of games but now that I am older I am really starting to see how amazing this creator really can be. Your imagination is really the ONLY limitation.
