It should be a requirement for every future president of the United States to solve the Entrepeneur at least once.
After a frustrating start, everything clicked. Really fun to figure out.
Just completed the game (apart from one secret pink aspect I don't intend to fiddle with for a while, anywho) in 8.6 hours. Big thanks to Metasniper for showing this to my brother, and to my brother, who in turn told me about this game and how crazy it is back like ten years ago now -- this is something I cite as a fundamental reason I got into playing video games so much and why I love them so much.
It's been like ten years, and I've had this game in the back of my mind for this whole time, and been really hyped up to play this for the entire time, just waiting for the right time. Today was the right time, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It's worth the full price, but this game also goes on sale regularly.
This is a very brainy puzzle game, and if that's not your style, fair enough, feel free to move along -- this one is a big brain game. However, if you have a big brain and are interested, get this game -- it will not disappoint, and it deserves more attention.
Classic.
Edit: Just ran credits; new review: This game is really beautiful and clever. You're almost definitely going to need a guide unless you're an absolute puzzle game wiz. At times, certain things are a bit janky and frustrating, but overall, learning new solutions to puzzles and applying them to different applications is pretty rewarding. Overall the game is beautiful and engaging. I definitely give it a thumbs up, albeit it's not perfect, and again be prepared to need a guide.
I love this game, it's clever and ephemeral , however once you can generate bricks, the game crashes with a certain brick limit which happens kind of frequently... the game either needs to fix that or stop generating bricks at a limit.
Amazing puzzle game. Keep playing it every now and then.
My brain is fried but happy
One of the must play FPP
So oniric and challenging. Definitely a unic experience. A must for those who love puzzles.
another motion sickness inducing puzzle game, this genre sucks
After only watching pink cubes I finally managed to get past first puzzle.
One the best mindfuck games around still as good as it was on release
Would've benefited from higher res settings but those could still be achieved through console
Give at a go if you really like puzzles, trippy environments, or just unusual games in general
Every journey comes to an end
Amazing puzzle game
top tier game 10/10
I'm dumb.
really fun once you start to understand the rules it plays around, takes about 6 hrs to beat
Pretty wild.
i dropped this game like 10 times in years ive owned this because I didnt have the patience to keep playing.
im now on track to finish it for the first time.
i like the sound design.
graphics are okay.
the little quotes and cartoons are neat.
it can be frustrating but also easy to cheat sometimes.
a bit of mindfuckery which can sometimes be avoided a bit by using the map to quick travel.
alright puzzle game.
This is, legitimately, one of those games I wish I could experience for the first time again. It's got good puzzles, it's got a good message, and there are few things like it out there. Even if it's over a decade old, it holds up.
possibly the greatest puzzle game of all time?
good
Cool weird puzzles, definitely doesn't hold your hand
very, very good. only took me 9 years to complete
lots of well made non-euclidian and out-of-the-box puzzles
do note: it does not run on windows 11 i think. at least i cant install the .net framework 2/3 things that windows says this game needs, and it otherwise refuses to launch. it does however run brilliantly on the steam deck! somehow.
Few things to note about this game before starting. It is not finished and probably never will be, there are rooms that haven't been added and mechanics that don't do anything yet. However it is still an amazing game and I highly recommend you play it.
Antichamber is an amazing puzzle-platformer game which uses non-euclidean mechanics to create interesting and engaging puzzles, which can also be quite challenging. The game's use of simplistic design elements in the environments creates a very nice atmosphere. There is a lot to explore in this game and many secrets and Easter eggs to find, I would highly recommend checking out this game, and possibly playing it multiple times as there may have been things you might have missed on your first playthrough.
Fun-wise I didn't really have such a blast playing this game, but I am still glad I did play and finish it, therefore I recommend it.
A wonderfully mind-bending puzzle game that ensures that by the time you're finished you will have absolute familiarity with the game's mechanics. I love how puzzles build upon each other in ways you don't expect and often require some serious lateral thinking. Not a puzzle game for the faint of heart, to be sure, but hardcore puzzlers will find a thoughtfully crafted experience that engages your brain from start to finish.
i don't remember how i found this game (or the game found me instead), but i love it so much. one of the first games i ever bought and replayed it a dozen of times. simple artstyle, great sound design, you have to be clever to find some hidden rooms. overall i recommend this to everyone who wants to think a lot to play at least once
Mind bending puzzle platformer. It takes some doing to figure out some of the mechanics, but it is worth it.
Try to buy on sale, not huge replay value, but very fun. Will make you think. Will blow your mind multiple times.
hurt brain help
The only Escher like game I've played that doesn't suck. It's a great mind bending puzzle game with great aesthetic not replicated in any other game nearly as well. Also, the game feels like actual art as you are playing through it. It's so cool
I hold this game close to my heart
Backing away slowly. 10/10.
this game breaks my mind a little bit more every time i play it
aawesome
The graphics are insanely trippy. SO I FEEL SICK. Sorry, I can't play antichamber...
Masterpiece
???~~~!!!!!!!!?!!?!!?!?!?!!?!?!?!? whaaaaaat the, but uhhh wait but
i can simultaneously acknowledge that this is a very cool and inventive first-person puzzler, while also stating that i am clearly too stupid to play this. if this type of game is absolutely your bag, you will have a blast. if it's outside of your wheelhouse, well then best of luck because it's a brutal experience.
It breaks you down, so it can build you back up.
very good
PEAK
One of my top 10 games of all time. An experience like no other.
philosophical
I hate puzzles.
Exactly what it looks like. Good. Puzzles will make you think. Other than no narrative, for me it's on the level of portal and a little better than superliminal. I have nothing bad to say.
has gone insane
It is just not intuitive enough. It starts of good but just ends up making you need to use tutorials. It is less of a figure-it-out puzzle game and more of a try-this-and-hope-it-works puzzle game. 4/10 starts off well.
Puzzle game so good there's not enough of it
