Not better than the original but its alright.
lego batman 2 dc super heroes changed my life
I prefer the first game but this one was good as well. Besides being stun-locked for a minute and a half after getting a golden brick, and trying to land on precise platforms when flying, I had a blast playing this game. My only other critiques would be how unneeded most other characters in the game are, in terms of unique features and abilities.
This game is nice, but I'm not big fan of it, still I recommend it because it's LEGO game :)

Great Lego game to play with your kid and a massive improvement over the first game. Got the whole trilogy on sale for $5 so really cant go wrong.
The horrendous flying controls do take a lot of fun out of the game though since the overworld is such a huge portion of the game. Its funny because the flying in levels is fine. Theyd do this in many future games too, where sometimes the vehicles would fly fine but the character flight controls were broken. The way flying works would often change from game to game too. They had it working fine in Marvel Superheroes 1 then went on to break it in all subsequent games. They never truly figured out flight for some very strange unfathomable reason.

Used to play this game back in the day before somehow it decided no u and black screened on the ps3 :D got this game again and damn was it fun. (i can't get used to the pc controls though sobbing)
Amazing game, even holds up 12 years later. I used a mod that unlocks cam controls in the main levels, which made the experience more interesting, especially as a game design student. The one major problem with this game is THE FLYING CONTROLS THEY SUCK SO MUCH AHHHHFSJHWUIFHPG

Pretty fun, tho not as good as Lego Batman 1.
I do hate how awful the flying character controls are, and I think the voice of Joker sucks.
But otherwise pretty fun.
EXTREMELY BUGGY! Not only does it bug the heck out of your keyboard on windows and has a chance to make it unresponsive, but if your bluetooth headphones disconnect which mine have been doing recently, you have to restart your computer. There is quite literally nothing you can do if it freezes. Ive tried alt - f4 and alt tabbing win tabbing and the only thing that works is restarting completely. I cant get through a single save without it. Nearly unplayable. BEWARE THIS GAME IS OPTIMIZED VERY POORLY.
Well i enjoyed this game, some puzzle but it's a little dissappointed there's no mission by villain side, like lego batman the videogame.

i love this game and its one of my favorites from my childhood, but the experience of trying to get it to work on steam makes it really not worth the purchase. the audio REFUSES to work and while trying to fix it made my game unable to even start if you want to play lego batman maybe find an old copy or an emulator or something
One of the better, or even the best LEGO games TT has put out, it improves on the first Lego Batman in every way and lets you explore the **whole** Gotham as your HUB world, its a really amazing game and i would reccomend it to anyone who wants to try out their first LEGO game, as it includes good writing, good level design (we dont talk about the Ace Chemicals stage) and interesting way you unlock characters, 9/10

Still holds up pretty well compared to newer Lego games considering it's the first one to add an open world. It's even better than some Lego games that came after it.

I played Lego Batman 2 on my Wii when I was a kid
I have very nostalgic and fun memories of me and my brother playing this game
When I saw the bundle for the 3 Lego Batman games at 5 bucks, I knew I had to take the opportunity
I just finished the 100% completion. That's something my kid self only could dream about
100% completion ; 100% worth it

This is one of, if not the greatest games of all time, I may be a little biased because I spent a few years of my childhood playing this game on the PS3 with my friends but nonetheless this game is amazing

While being a pretty big step up from the first game, and entering the Lego voice acting era. The first game still has the character and charm over this game. But that's not to say this isn't a good game. Lego Batman 2 excels with an amazing open world as far as the Lego games go. It's up there with Lego Marvel in my opinion. I wish the character selection was a bit bigger it's not the biggest upgrade in the world. The story is fine, I can find it to be a bit boring sometimes but it holds together decently. Research and Development is a terrible level though I can't stand it. Flying around in the open world is a bit tricky. The controls and balance of being in the air and trying to land can be a nightmare, but you just have to work with it to survive. Overall it's a solid TT Games output and a classic for sure.

one of my favorite childhood games on the Wii. i used to roam around in the city in batman's car and just chill when i was a kid. i bought it back to enjoy the nostalgia and tbh the game is still enjoyable now that im an adult. these lego games are always better when playing on duo but its still fun to play solo on your free time. a good 8.5/10
At least this is better than latest suicide squad game

Pros:
-The story is pretty good with Batman teaming up with Superman to stop Lex Luthor and the Joker from stealing a presidential election with a giant robot. I think it fumbles a bit with Batman’s arc about accepting help but it’s a fun story for children.
-While it is the first LEGO game with an open world, it’s decent one that’s fun to fly around in, fun time trials to partake in and lots of Gold Bricks to find.
-Combat feels much better than the previous LEGO Batman. In fact gameplay in general feels faster
Neutral:
-I think this game should have been called LEGO Batman and Superman since the Justice League don’t really matter to the plot. Also makes me wish more Superman villains showed up and had some boss fights too
-I also think the last level could have been cut and pasted onto the previous level since I thought Wayne Tower was already working as a final level.
-I don’t know if this is a con or not but a good portion of the gold bricks that involve an obstacle course can be skipped in the postgame by just flying to the end and switching to a character with a similar ability to open the cage can just open it and take the brick. I think it’s only Acrobatic Robin that can’t be cheated out of his obstacle courses
Cons:
-The third act drags on because every level involves dealing with the giant robot in some way and it gets tiring really quickly. Not helped with Superman being nerfed for story reasons.
Flying in this game was painful but story and gameplay was better than lego batman 3 : beyond gotham
Even though the game crashes since it doesn't work on windows 11, it brings back Xbox 360 memories.

If you've played one Lego game you've played them all. Given any point in time, the best Lego game to buy is the most recent one (which is The Skywalker Saga as of this writing). Therefore, by deduction, this one isn't so great. It focuses on Batman and Superman, but adds all the superheroes as playable characters. But there isn't much to do AS them, so the collectability falls flat. Plus the gameplay is full of glitches and wonky play control. The characters are too floaty and bouncy and you never quite know if you've landed on something.
Used to play this at my cousin's house on his xbox 360 this game is my childhood man. Pretty enjoyable and the collectathon isn't nearly as tedious as i remember it being. 100%'d in just barely 2 days.
Holy man, not only does this game bring me back my childhood but its still one of the best games ive ever played. This game has given me the most fun out of any game maybe exept Lego Batman 1 but still this is such an amazing and enjoyable game. When ever I play this i feel like when I was 7 coming back from school turning on my Nintendo Wii and loading this bad boy up and now I can relive that memory again this time on my laptop and the fact i got all 3 lego batman games for £3.99 is such a bargin. Everyone who reads this comment about this game. BUY IT im dead serious you will love it the open world is great you can run around with the Flash or fly with Superman better yet if you fly up to the Wayne tower you can even glide down with the Penguin and there are so many characters I always have something to do and once I complete the game to 100% you can have 3 more game loads meaning you can play from beginning again and if you want to switch to your completed load you can and just drive, run, fly even travel with Robin in his acrobatic suit in a ball and run people over. Its such a great game I had forgotten that it was in steam and only realised once I had bought a nintendo 3DS and put my lego batman 2 card and realised it was a bit different from the Wii version so I think this is the best purchase ive ever done and will do forever and will love it till I die.
