Ubisoft Online Services Decommission Update
From 25 January 2024: Online features will no longer available for this product.
About the Game
WHEN YOU’RE OUTNUMBERED…ONLY THE DEAD FIGHT FAIR. There is nothing fair, honorable, or just about combat. There is only winning and losing—the dead and the living. The Ghosts don’t worry about even odds. They do everything in their power to overwhelm and obliterate the enemy. Future technology is the key to winning an asymmetric battle. In Ghost Recon Future Soldier join an elite team of highly trained, cut-throat special-ops soldiers. Tag ‘em and bag ‘em: Use the tagging feature on the ground or by drone to coordinate synchronized attacks on enemy targets. Stay out of enemy sight: Exploit unique cover system and swap through dynamic covers to surprise, flank and eliminate the enemies.Поддерживаемые языки: english, danish, dutch, french, german, italian, norwegian, polish, portuguese - brazil, spanish - spain, swedish

The game has a critical error that upon trying to launch the game for my 2nd time playing it, I got an error message saying ubisoft could not verify I own the game. I spoke to ubisoft support and they gave me a cookie cutter answer that did not work. I now have 4 hours on my steam account so likely not getting a refund and literally no way to play the damn game. It's a great game, but please sail the high seas if you want to play it. Do not buy it through steam.
way ahead of its time
It was a game from back in the day, so i bought it again to see if it held up. It does, the story is just as odd and janky as i remember and it's definetly a game based in the 'action movie motif' of the time. But it's a fun game and worth playing.
Best shit ever
great game used to play it on ps3 not had to replay it on pc this time still the same.great game deffinently my childhood game
tom clancy i lov u
great game, but do yourself a favour and do NOT play hardcore mode unless you like busting your balls in firefights n getting one-tapped even when behind cover
Played it when i was 7 years old. I just realised that for 2012 the graphics were insane. Awesome game with awesome mechanics.
Game is amazing, graphic kinda still hold, story is good especially if your a Tom Clancy nerd, its also pretty good at capturing the chemistry between teammates. my only downside for it is that i cant use the mk14 ebr or m60 in the campaign because UPLAY doesnt exist anymore
It`s Awesome.
Came back to this game in 2024 after playing it so long ago.. still GREAT!
- Definitely buy on sale and give it a try!
Still prefer this more than the new ones (wildlands, breakpoint). I'm just not big on open world.
Cons:
- Unlocking weapons and upgrades system - little confusing and don't like how it's based on completing stupid challenges ugh.
I remember playing this game back in the day being mildly excited, but it hasn't aged very well. The gunplay isn't very fun, the gameplay constantly railroads the player, and the constant cutscenes are annoying. I quickly dropped it.
one of the best in my life
Wont activate key. Bought the game just after release. The game released on PC without keyboard support... so unplayable, today uninstallable. > Bye bye Ubisoft in the brain.
Wishlist dari gapunya laptop dan ps wkwkwk
The game it self is great, personally didn't have problems while running the campaign. Personally wouldn't buy it for full price (14,99, 23.12.24), but otherwise great.
Of course the servers are shut down , but i'm not really someone for pvp anyways.
If you want to know: the campaign in difficulty veteran (2/4) takes about 16h.
a solid, single player 3rd person shooter from the golden age of those titles. Higher difficulties are challenging and the AI for teammates and enemies is better than in a lot of games from today. Grab an xbox controller and it will take you right back to the best days of the 360.
very good game
Great gameplay
God Bless
bad
EVERY UBISOFT GAME DESERVES A NEGATIVE REVIEW FOR THEIR LAUNCHER
Not worth it, story is bad and running it comes with loads of problems.
Been playing for a little while now and i like the game
Requires Uplay / Ubisoft Connect 3rd party account and launcher.
There is no disclosure of this on the Steam store page as of December 8th, 2024.
Old-fashioned, tactical adventure with many obstacles on the way that showed me something different.
In most shooters I basically look like a meat on the battlefield, who has only two functions: run and kill.
In this game I'm on the second place and controlling my team whenever I want too and that gives me sort of freedom to play how I like.
After 9 years I completely understand it. Time flies <3
AMAZING RUNS GREAT! No fix or mods needed 60 FPS 98% of the time. Great single player!!!
This game aged really well for the most part. Unfortunately online aspects of the game are pretty much done. However the single player was worth the money to walk down memory lane.
Before Ubisoft made the franchise open world, Ghost Recon games were carefully crafted single player experiences like COD, but executed in a more "authentic" fashion.
Future soldier was the last, and best example of where they could go. Sure, the story is sub par, but it is serviceable to help guide you from mission to mission, which all do have varied environments and mission types.
Major problem: Online services keep blocking me from playing the campaign. After repeated attempts I can, but this is an unfortunate oversight.
Not only an abysmal PC port, but an average game entirely. Somehow its successor, Wildlands is better and Wildlands is the epitome of lameness. If you were expecting anything tactical from the series of tactical games with the "tactical brand" of Tom Clancy, guess again buck-o because this game is even less "tactical" than Wildlands, Blacklist, Conviction, or the Vegas games COMBINED. Do you like open ended missions where you can handle something however you want and play on your own time? Well TOO BAD dipsh*t, patience is for LOSERS.
If it isn't the constant forced "this or that" this game pushes into your face constantly that breaks the experience, it's the awful graphics for a 2012 game with humans that you'd think were from a 2005 early Xbox 360 game or maybe the 2010 feeling to everything else like the sprinting, the aiming, the ai, everything trying to edgy or everything trying to be "weighty" (And failing at it). Not only do the graphics hold the game back, but the story is probably the worst I've seen in an Ubisoft game (Until Far Cry 5) with how obnoxiously LAME and edgy it is.
TLDR: Truly a product of the 360's LAME era.
F*** Ubisoft. They shut down the game servers for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, one among a huge list of other games. No longer have access to all coop & multiplayer content. Boycotting

Back then Ubisoft is truly creating games for gamers.
Still a great game! Solid shooter!
childhood game so peak
2 hours in and this is so fun man what a gem
i wanted the ghost recon games right before this one because the future thing seemed a little much at first glance but its pretty good and it aged okay
only bad thing seems to be a lack of current day multiplayer options
It has aged well
my childhood game the best game ever made
Growing up, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was my go-to game. The combination of stealth, teamwork, and high-tech weaponry was incredibly appealing. I spent countless hours planning missions and coordinating with my friends. It's a game that I'll always cherish.
childhood fav still a great game
Solid single player campaign. Better than newer games in my opinion. Get it on sale.
bring the online back
I got this game originally in 2012 but to start with a few things to note before I get to gameplay
1. Requires Ubisoft Connect (AKA Uplay) a external launcher
2. Drone's basic directional movement is hardbound (AKA you can't change it via the ingame menu, it is locked to WASD)
3. No cloud saving (So make backups of your saves or such, since if you uninstall it you can lose the save data)
Ghost Recon Future soldier is the first Third person Ghost recon that I can recall, it is also the most cover shooter esh of the bunch with a mix of stealth elements & tactical elements as well as having things ones later in the series do not (Drone has a crawler mode to cloak it & such, suppression as a concept exists for both sides(Fear the MG enemies), gunsmith is the first iteration but somehow the best in the series compared to Wildlands & Breakpoint (Worst/most limited) and various other bits such as a actually working bipod unlike Wildlands & Breakpoint.
Story is linear (No choices as well but I ain't complaining), but is interesting & set post breakpoint to my knowledge with characters people may know from wildlands & breakpoint (Which may be better said the other way, but wildlands is the most popular to my knowledge)
Every mission features a few general challenges and a weapon based one (Such as get 5 kills in a single burst of a LMG on the first level), stealth is quite viable & generally encouraged (Enemies hit quite hard on Veteran (Normal difficulty) since it lets you pick off threats, be it you have various combat sections
Multiplayer - Apperently gone, but it did feature 4 player coop in the campiagn along with a gurillea mode(Still playable for certain in solo and think wave survival like in call of duty modern warfare 3 but you must defend a HQ area on the map) with of course a PVP mode ; Note, This section I could be wrong on it being gone (The buddy I would play with has disappeared for a while now)
If you are interested, I would say give the game a try
The game has aged like the finest of all wines.
I miss what Ghost Recon used to be.
I miss what Ubisoft used to be.
Solid cover shooter. Not the best ghost recon game but it has a fun campaign and the wave mode that every game had to have during this time is fun. Beware of ubisoft launcher. Buy for ten-er.
solid tactical cover shooter with good gunplay and stealth, competent ai and a really well done campaign. the squadmates are well voice acted and likeable characters. Special shout out to the weapon customization which had to have been the most in depth out there when this game released. Back when Ubisoft knew wtf they were doing...
This game is peak ghost recon and honestly the best in the series i played it as a kid on the xbox 360 and even coming back to it after all these years it easily holds up and is better than most AAA games that are coming out, developers need to take notes.
The future of apple vision goggles
