FrameFusion Motion Interpolation improve the framerate of any video, gif or group of images by 2X/4X/8X/16X
This application that uses neural networks to generate optical flows between two frames of a video. By using these flows, the application merges the frames into a new one, effectively increasing the number of frames in the video output.
The application allows you to select multiple videos, GIFs, or images in formats like PNG/JPG/BMP for interpolation, producing a new video with a higher FPS than the original.
Key Features:
- Choose from four different models for interpolation: options for live-action or animation, with the ability to render in high quality or with faster speeds.
- Optimized for Nvidia GPUs with CUDA support but also compatible with AMD GPUs and CPUs.
- Manage a queue of files for batch processing, with a progress bar to track how long each file will take.
- For static images like PNG, you can select a folder of files and manually choose an FPS to use.
Export Options:
- Export Frames: Generates a .PNG file for each processed frame, including the newly interpolated ones.
- Export Motion Flow: Exports a PNG visualization of the optical flow.
- Export Video Side-By-Side: Exports the original video alongside the interpolated video for comparison.
- Export Video Cut in Half: Exports the left side of the video as the original and the right side as the interpolation, split down the middle for comparison.
Video Modifications:
- Perfect Loop Video: Creates new frames between the last frame and the first frame of a video to create a perfect loop.
- Remove Static Frames: Especially useful for animations, this option removes static frames to enhance the fluidity of the final video.
- Skip Scene Changes: Detects scene changes and avoids interpolation to reduce artifacts in these transitions.
Supports frame multipliers, allowing you to output videos with higher FPS. For example, a video with 24fps can be interpolated to:
- 2X: 48fps
- 4X: 96fps
- 8X: 192fps
- 16X: 384fps
Поддерживаемые языки: english, french, italian, german, spanish - spain, simplified chinese, traditional chinese, korean, spanish - latin america, japanese, portuguese - brazil, russian
Системные требования
Windows
- OS: Windows 10
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 750 Ti
- Storage: 3 GB available space
- Additional Notes: This application work better in a Nvidia card that support CUDA.

Works great as usual, been following GRisk since this was called dain app. Results are comparable to topaz video ai frame interpolation, which is pretty crazy considering that costs 300-1000 bucks.
Highly recommended if you have a use for frame interpolation or just want to try it out, you can't go wrong for 5 bucks.
I think, is great app for short animations with very similar frames. For any other case it doesn't work. Hope for future improvements in interpolation and stability.
Very helpful for remastering old movies. Awesome tool
Tested it on my AMD setup:
Small 9 second video at 30.0 fps -> 60.0 fps:
Processing time:
CPU only (Ryzen 9 7900X3D [email protected]): 3min29secs
Embedded GPU: 5min43secs
GPU (AMD RX 7900 gre): 22secs
Results for all three renders looks good.
Funny thing in the user interface is that i have to select wrong gpu to get the right GPU. For example: Selecting the embedded GPU activates the AMD RX 7900 gre and not the embedded GPU?
TLDR: works fine on an AMD system and gains significant speed boost even with my AMD RX7900 GRE GPU. Results looks good. Have not tried extreme interpolations yet.
It works great, simple menu but advanced feature set, and only a single 1-time fee to get it, under 10 bucks how could you go wrong. It's also very kind of them to offer a demo which can process 7-second videos, which is ironically perfect for 5-second AI clips, but considering there are no limits after buying it there is no hestiation to purchase after I saw that it does indeed work and get your CPU or GPU to 100% usage and do tons of valuable work -- this program seems worth it. I like the no-nonsense interface of this one. It remembers your settings and everything, without even having to click 'save' or something, it just works.
Only issues I found so far was you might want to disable Steam Overlay on the program (the Steam FPS counter appears all disfigured for me, but the overlay is pointless here so disabling it solves it) and the demo version doesn't seem to show up in the library correctly, but it doesn't get lost you can uninstall it from the steam storage thing. Maybe it was just me.
So far loving it. Try the demo out with some AI footage :)
Excellent piece of software.
It does exactly what it promises and does it exceptionally well.
It's also incredibly user-friendly and easy to use.
I can't see much use for this
if it won't load an mp4 file
and convert the frames in memory.
create the new mp4 then delete
the unnecessary files.
Update: 10/11
Developer very responsive and sorted it out.
