Calming as hell, still like it 15 years after
If it was possible I would give this game an even sign. It is not all bad, but not quite up my alley. It is a kind of match-4-farming-simulator, where the crops you can plant on your fields determine how much money you get,
The good:
Simple controls, acceptable mouse reaction times. Feels a bit clunky at times, but okay overall.
Easy color scheme - well, at least for me. Colors and shapes tend to move quickly when you´re playing, so at times, a colorblind mode might make things easier .
Things that just are:
Soundtrack. Nothing remarkable, but also not annoying after five minutes. I generally prefer playing without sound if sound is not crucial, so that is nothing that would bother me.
Upgrade shop - for the money you earn ingame. Prices seem reasonable, and there is no premium currency, so yay to that one.
What annoys me:
Mini games with stupid rules that are crucial if you want to progress - if they would at least be cool!
Ever more stuff that needs to be clicked, and fast, to fill up trucks for market...
Freeplay mode is locked until after storyline completes
The oil digging minigame. One turret after every four levels, for bonus cash - why? Why does oil have to be a thing in a farming game?!? Because Texas, or... I just dont get it.
My childhood
Got it on a sale, not what I expected. Thought it would be some strategy, or resource mngmnt, instead it's just 1 puzzle. Over and over. No changes, no new elements (yet), got boring really fast.
Game won`t start, I used to play it back when it got on, but now is crap. Steam Fix the issue already? its 2018 people and still won`t run great!!!!!!!!!!
Really sad that the game wouldn't open; it looked so cute
This game looked good for my kids aged 3-6, but you need good reading skills to play (practically no other way to work out how to play or what things mean), which rules out the younger kids, and it isn't that easy to follow what's going on. I would say it might be good for kids around age 8+
It is not good for younger kids than that.
Little Farm is another one of these 'matching colour' games but this time you will have to match the vegetables. You have to draw squares on your field and in every corner there must be the same vegetable.
The game is easy to learn and not difficult so it's a nice kids game to play with for a few hours but nothing more.
I just recently re-installed this game again, and I've enjoyed it greatly for the third time. It's smooth, creative, and pretty. The matching mechanics is super fun, and I love searching for the Best Match. The timed elements keep me on my feet though I've yet to run out of time.
The only thing I don't love about it is the inability to skip some of the mini-games. I really don't like the watering time mini-game.

You do more than farmin' with dem hoes in this game. Put on yo cowboy hat and get ready to show these redneck heehaws how real farmin' is done...In all serious businessness, this game is a realistic portrayal and simulator of real life farming. Prepare to be wow'd by the real labor of pointing, dragging, and clicking your crops to farm enough to make enough to feed your soon to be fatass lazy waifu and possibly a couple bratty kids. Experience the serious struggles of trying to make ends meet as you spray pests off your food (NO ORGANIC SHIT GROWN HERE BUDDY) and wonder why this toothy old man keeps eyeing your ass every time you bend over to pick those tomatoes. Don't worry, he only wants to come pump your oil rig...pump it real good.
