It's a little short, but very well designed and serene.

great fun small story
What a game
It is so fun!
Absolute top notch puzzle game you play with Lego bricks. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer. If they ever come out with a second it's definitely getting bought.
A really fun game when you just want to get lost in a colourful, playful world. The bricks look incredible and this is an easy game for me to recommend, especially so at 75% off which it is currently on sale at. Also looks and plays perfectly on the Steam Deck which I how I completed it.
Beautiful game however most levels are not very puzzle like. Just a lot of building with clunky controls on steamdeck
Cool!
one-evening kind game.
story is much deeper than the most of AAA
An very pleasant experience. Maybe 2 hr of story. Not too complex, perfect for playing with small kids. Bought it with -75% and found it to be an absolute bargain. With a very nice lego builder (creative) mode, this is a great game and for sure recommended.
It's a very atmospheric little puzzle game that really scratches that inner urge that wants to play with Lego haha!
I've genuinely got stuck on some of the puzzles aswell and had to come back to them later for a second try :)
The controls were a bit frustrating pretty much all throughout. Nonetheless, the game is beautiful & I enjoyed it from start to finish.
Rating: 6/10
This isn't a bad game, but it's not a great one either. It had so much potential and started off strong with its super cool art style and animation. However, after a few chapters, you begin to realize that the puzzles are convoluted and not worth the effort of trying to solve them through trial and error. The solutions never feel satisfying.
A good puzzle game should be a combination of a cool art style and well-designed, rewarding puzzles. While this game nails the first part impeccably, it falls flat on the second.
LEGO Builder's Journey has a charming look and feel, particularly because you can't step on them and proceed to calmly scream in excruciating pain. LEGO Builder's Journey is love to your feet.
Excellent Game. I'd recommend Gris if anyone is looking for something similar.
I got the game for cheap in a sale, but that regular price is bat shit insane.
A Game about very bad parenting
i love my dad :(
Great fun game, and even there are no facial expressions and no talking, you can still feel the emotion.
It's a story about a father and son. Not very difficult, and for the full price not worth it. But if you can get it for like 5 bucks, its a good deal for a fun 1.5 hours.
a good game pretty even cute it kinda gets boring soon but its good to waste time in this game specially for kids but yea i liked playing this game its a new thing in like lego universe of games you gotta use your mind not just game guading you trough
I'm guessing LEGO saw those indie games told with visuals and/or puzzles and wanted to have there own. And you know what? It worked. Only puzzles that annoyed me was that one after all the skating and the one room in the dark.
Great story and fun game play.
Bought on a sale at a whim.
It is a nice concept? But after the initial levels it actually felt like boring work to do the puzzles, which is a bit ironic as the story is among other things is about boring work.
And the full price is much too high if you only plan to do the story puzzles (took at bit over 2 hours and all done) and not play with lego in creative mode.
The controls are, as others note, also somewhat odd, not bad but also not great.
So I am not sure if I am simply not the target audience but is not one I'd recommend to all types of players, you'd need to be the exact niche here and you'd absolutely want a large discount.
Fantastic mood. Good puzzles. Inspiring dioramas. Too much heat from my videocard.
I'm only at the start, but that's a beautiful, poetic game. A story told without words, I am very impressed...
The game is alright 7/10 and yes "the bricks here look better than in the real-world"
I recommend purchasing on discount.
Nice short little game that makes you think a little. Impressed with the realistic look to the blocks.
A short game but has a lot of charm. Good for $5.
Neat little puzzle game with a LEGO father and son adventure.
Great lighting and graphics too. I love the idea and execution of this game.
Terrible controls, terrible sound options, blurry as hell. Not worth any amount of money in its current state. I expect a bright and cheerful aesthetic from LEGO and what I got was a blurry, murky soup of visuals despite being on High quality. The controls are way too annoying with no way to change them. I had to press Esc twice just to get to a menu which was also very annoying. There's no real tutorial to go through, it just throws you into the middle of the game. I think I played 2-3 levels before I had to call it quits.
Quiet relaxing LEGO game that is visually stunning with a interesting puzzle aspect to it.
Poor robot friend tho :(
It took me 2.6 hours to finish the game, and after finishing it, I was able to achieve all the achievements. The visuals and sound design are beautiful and pleasant. The puzzles aren't difficult, but the overall game length and level design are too short. The game experience isn't great, and it can even be described as frustrating. The main issue lies in the mouse control, which are not intuitive or user-friendly. It's hard to believe that after being released for such a long time, no updates have been made to optimize the controls, despite many players giving feedback about this issue.
Definitely worth playing, especially if you're a fan of Lego. However, I don't think it's worth paying full price. If you can find it on sale, I highly recommend picking it up.
The single button controls are definitely something to get used too, but once you get it down, its really no hassle. the visuals are very nice for what is essentially mini lego pieces, you get a simple story and a lot of freedom as to how to complete the puzzles AAANND a sandbox thing so you can make your own little dioramas. Absolutely recommend, especially whenever it goes on sale
lego starwars
+ Beautiful graphics, pretty demanding though -- I had ~30fsp on my RTX4060/16 without DLSS.
+ Enjoyabble puzzles
+ Relaxing
- Controls aren't the most intuitive
Buy it during a big sale; the game is short (approx. 90 minutes), but the 'story' & gameplay is enjoyable. The visuals are good too.
The best lego puzzle game with a sweet narrative that reminds me of a short film.
Beat it in around 3 hours. Lots of fun and challenging puzzles but the controls are quite frustrating. The creative mode is interesting and I got a couple cool screenshots out of it but I was hoping it would give me a bigger canvas and more interesting lego pieces to build with; It got boring after my first time playing with it. I got it on sale for $5 and I am glad I did because I don't think its worth its full price, but I would still recommend if its on sale.
Amazing game. i loved the story and the journey, it's very relaxing, yet sometimes intense. highly recommend, although controls are annoying but it's not a deal breaker you'll get used to them.
Not a bad game, but not great either. It's probably the best-looking LEGO game ever made and the music is sweet, but the controls can be very annoying at times. It's also super short, so I recommend it during a deep sale.
This game really surprised me. Great visuals, good story, and good puzzles. Very short and sweet, can be beat in a few hours. I do not usually play a lot of single player games, but this definitely scratched an itch that I did not know that I had.
Good relaxing game, not to complicated with a bit of nostalgia. But I dont recomand it at the full price, to little content for too much.
Cute little puzzle game. Had some jank to it with placing pieces and felt frustrating at times but an overall fun experience. It's a bit short though, I was able to finish in a single sitting. If you're looking into I'd definitely recommend, just maybe pick it up on a sale.
Placing the Lego pieces is to finicky to be comfortable, and I'm always trying to move slowly the cursor to have them sticking to the right place. Most often than not they fall (placing a piece and dropping them is the same action, short click).
Then I came to a puzzle where I would have to place them quickly, because the floor is sinking. Dropping the game there : (
A very wholesome, quiet, relaxing, and nice puzzle game thus far! Cull review coming later
A short story about a father and his son. <3
I thought this was a cool game, and the addition of a creative mode helped sell this for me.
I recommend getting this on sale, as this is a very short game and I dont think its worth full asking price
I am happy with it at $5.
Very cute game with just the right ambiance & tone, & all those little clicky noises you want to hear.
If you're not using an RTX card, just be mindful to turn off all (yes, there are multiple) Ray Tracing settings, as that'll really tank your FPS.
Got this on sale for just over $2. I don't know if I'd have paid retail price ($8) for it as it's not my primary genre, but definitely worth it on sale. Makes a great little gift for a loved one, too!
Surprisingly deep story about growing up, imagination, being stuck in habits and things like that. Sometimes the puzzle is very rigid and only has one good answer, sometimes there's multiple paths, and sometimes you are just playing with legos and colors like a child would. The game does not tell you when this will happen and so all of these things come as very nice surprises, and the way they happen strengthen the themes of the story. There were a couple moments where the game really spoke to me and I thought they were quite genius.
Good way to kill a couple hours, great game, not goated, but great
