Recently this app have been giving me problems. Converted videos play at like a fast forward like speed. If I try a different format I sometimes get muffled or duplicate sound. I have set all sorts of settings that makes sense to me, but no.. This app needs to get uninstalled. Back to Handbrake I go.
I'm FORCED 2 UPGRADE to 2024 version. I was perfectly happy with the previous version, can you please remove UPGRADE and make it an option to buy if people want it?
2024 version is a step backwards for me and interfering when down scaling.

Resize method default is "Letter Box" (adds black bars on all four sides of the video).
You Can't Change "Chroma location" meaning Video Clip Full-Screen Playback is in Middle of the Screen (Not On the Left).

Simple and easy to use, comes with a ton of advanced features but it is intuitive to use vs the other options out there
If you love furries, then this is for you!
Unfortunately, it cuts off the end of the audio track, about the last 1-2 seconds, this is not very pleasant... I do not recommend buying, until they fix it. But the speed of conversion as always on top. This problem also occurs in previous versions.
I purchased and hoped help video editing.
Just simple cropping for like TikTok and YouTube Shorts video.
TikTok was fine, but YouTube is causing error as "Processing abandoned".
I filled out bug report with problem video file, but not response.
I purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 (which has vertical video support).
It has all feature I need and working fine.
So I don't need this software, but I cannot file refund as I used over 2H.
If you need video editing software, I'd recommend Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 instead.

Works well and fast enough. Never really has any bad issues with the software and has been reliable.
I do wish the added webp support, but other than that, it really does cover just about every format that one would need.
Really happy with it.
It's the same as the 2020 version (as was the 2019 version), also the software update for the steam version is next to non existent. If you want the updated version, then you need to buy it from their website.
Despite some minor annoyances of this product I feel it is a good value.
Here are my gripes: Good converter but some of the older versions I have had on my system like m4a and some common wma and such have no conversion option despite being able to play as valid video files. I had to go online and use Convertio.com to actually convert those so it makes me wonder why a FREE website can convert software wherein one you buy can NOT convert all files. Seems like a huge oversight.
The preview box to type this review into is also NOT wide enough and prevents a person seeing the entirety of their own review post to be seen without scrolling from side to side. Seems like the people writing this code on Steam are not very proficient. This is not a fault of Movavi however.
Despite some minor annoyances like above this converter is a very very good value and allows for cropping of entire videos and good effects. Be sure to pay attention to file size because if you do not your original 2 GB file size can easily become a 16+ GB file and eat hard drive space fast. A more robust explanation for novice users of the various features would be good. Fly-out boxes to explain various buttons or features should be explained. If you are a pro at video editing you will be fine as the standard tools are here.
If your most desired feature is to crop your videos like in my case then software has HORRIBLE cropping features to cut down on letter-boxing. DOES NOT CROP in the area you want cropped. BAD SOFTWARE and POOR DESIGN can not a good review make.
