About the Game
It’s the year 3000AD. Humanity has spread its reach across the stars, created a booming economy, and now seeks entrepreneurial spirits to stake their claims. It is your chance to build a space station empire that spans across the galaxy.
All sorts of pilots wander the galaxy and it's up to you to figure out what will bring you the most success. Each pilot has their own priorities and needs; ranging from refueling their ships, satisfying their desire for alcohol, or gambling away their hard-earned cash. Even though what they each look for in a space station is very different, there is one thing they have in common; they want to spend some money.
But where there’s profit, there are always risks to consider. Pirates are around every corner looking for a score. Markets will fluctuate and potentially bankrupt your efforts as the demands of pilots change. Meanwhile, something mysterious lurks in the shadow, waiting for the right time to strike.
In Space Station Tycoon you will expand your station by building lots of different stuff like docking bays, research facilities, and even casinos to attract every kind of customer you can. Spread your influence among the stars and create the kind of station you would be proud to call your own.
Space Station Tycoon is inspired by its greatest ancestors of the “tycoon” genre. We took those inspirations and wanted to create our own tycoon game set in a sci-fi universe. Where the player has a chance to experience the demands of running their own station. Our main goal is to ensure that strategic depth and difficult choices are at the forefront of everything you do.

well thats 6HRS of my life i wont get back... game plays ok nothing special the station only has 2 floors so no room for building. the random events like attacks and random death clouds yawn are boring. Worst of all the frustration of a "fully" built station and a death could appears and your "shields" are suppose to save your station. Nope just might be lucky if one or two come on during said event. Even with shields "protecting your stuff they don't nope everything gets damaged anyway so whats the point.
So my advice don't buy this even if its free or deeply discounted. Just don't, you will have better luck winning a fight with a coon.
i maxed out the station size before i even finished unlocking all the buildings. multiple buildings simply never get used. events slow time but have nothing for the player to do other than sit and watch. many tooltips are unclear as to what EXACTLY a building does.
I liked the idea of the game but for the price it had when i bought it, it doesn´t offer enough, when you get the second layer its the same as the first, just place buildings in diferent order for fun and that´s it, i really wish it had more because it´s a good idea but it doesn't have enough gameplay.
I did enjoy the game, but honestly as feedback, the junction points were a missed opportunity. You should have allowed them to later be upgraded to extra stations and let us make more stuff. Was great for getting it on sale
Terrible balancing. Even trying to play it conservative, your staff just drains way too much. their raise demands are way too high. The economy just buckles. Need more variance on the choices. Its too linear.
This game was enjoyable but has so much potential for more to be added and bug fixes. It appears there is no more updates taking place with this game. It's still enjoyable for a few hours if bought at a low price.
Few of the achievements don't work you can see which ones i didn't get yet :P small-large ports and i wasnt gonna waste time to get the 100 mil badge when it takes ages to gain money at the end at least in my experience. Bugs i noticed was the incubation dock doesn't work at all even if you set the dock price to 0 nobody shows up lmfao
Further more on the money gain situation, After completing all research nodes i removed all the labs and put more commercial items to increase money but i was only making around 90-110k a month which at the end of the game feels insanely slow when you have everything unlocked i lost the enjoyment of playing and watching numbers go up since it didn't feel like ending the game made them go up any faster
all in all i wouldn't recommend buying this game unless it was on sale or until further improvements on the game are made
ok lets be fair .. the game is playable and i did enjoy it for over 10H ....but there is so many flaws that it kind of ruin the fun.. i explain. the incubator for alien dont work at ALL .. i have it set for over 3 years and it never generated any money even tho im linked to 2 hive planet. other thing that dont seem to work as intended is the repair bay and other dock station, people who would need repair use normal dock and those who dont cluster the repair bay by going in station for months.. the speedcharger wich should be for speed fuel and go dont work either since people stay there for months and visit the station instead of just fueling and leave.
seem like many things changed over developement phase since when u do a search for question u might have u end up finding stuff who dont seem to be in game anymore like upgrade and building other base, wich make it very confusing as in , "" i dont find how to do that''. the achievement dont seem to all work either cause with a fully built up station its impossible i dont get 10 ship docking.
Not a bad game but for the price i was expecting more. im at lvl 7 now and seem to be stuck there forever with all research done and everything unlocked.
Bruh, started it up...... and listened 2.9 hours to the titel screen music. Because its that good !
Lots of bugs still and some achievements are broken. Is fun for a while but you soon realise a lot of the mechanics are random and not well thought out. Honestly if you get it cheap, it'l provide a "take your brains out" experience for 5-10 hours, after that its very repetitive and a boring. This is a £4.99 game, not a £15-20 game.
Got to give it a thumbs down as don't think its actively being worked on by the developers. Seems like they had good ideas then realised how complicate it was to develop, then simplified it without much care.
They abandoned the project and failed to even START the 2024 roadmap they promised with no communication and have started working on a different game.
