Snacko feels like a game I would have played as a child and I mean that in the best way possible. I love it. It feels strangely nostalgic, especially the music. Grassy Plains theme reminds me very much of Petz 2 for the Wii (anyone else?) The pixel art is cute and the characters are charming. The world building and lore are really interesting and I've been enjoying reading the dialogue, which is super fun and has made me chuckle on occasion. You can decorate literally every inch of your farm, the town, and even customize your cat. You can really make the world of Snacko your own and I love that so much. I can see myself spending hundreds of hours in this game and I more than likely will. I know things can change with the game being in early access, but I really want to see it succeed and I honestly believe it will. This is an absolute gem and it has so much potential it's actually crazy. Not to mention Snacko is getting frequent updates and the developers really do seem to care from what I've seen and actively listen to feedback, which is great!

Love This Wonderfull Game! It Would Be Nice If The Building Was A Bit Easyer And If I Could Rotate Things On More Then One Axsis. And The Animal Villegers Arent Very Smart Sorry Thare Allwas Stuck And Then They Just Randomly Teleport. And More Limestone Block Shapes Would Be Nice With More Dye Colors. And Some Quests Say It Will Teach Me Recipes But I Don't Get Some Of Them Like The Bibbles Plush And The Vintage Stool Sorry. And On My Steam Deck The Building Camrea Likes To Drift To Th Right With My Joy Stick. Besides That 1000000% Out Of 10% Wonderfull Game. I Can't Stop Playing It Love This Game Would Recemend 100% Times Over. And I Love Animals So That Makes It Even Better. Really Really Good Game! 👍👍👍👍👍! And Please Please Maybe Give Miss Curatur A Real Name That She Only Tells You If Your Good Friends Or More. So Like 4-5 Flower Hearts And When You Talk To Her With That Much Friendship It Will Change To Her Real Name Please Devs PLEASE? Sorry.

Really fun and cute game. There are a lot of bugs, but it's EA and the developers are super responsive. I love the art and the vibes.
Very cute and nice game, love the graphics and accessibility settings and the characters, as someone with sesitive eyes and dyslexia this game really has good settings to help me be able to fully enjoy this game, plus its cute and its gameplay is great as well :3
Snacko is an early access game inspired by Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, with a GBA-style aesthetic. Recently, indie games have been the center of my attention, not only because of the games themselves but also because they support small groups. I love what these creators do, especially the fact that a two-person team is making this game while constantly listening to player feedback and addressing bugs. I recommend buying the game to support small creators.
This game is cute, but still a long way to go with crafting and etc. I wanted to find something cute, I did find something cute. It would be great with some planting mechanics , because its hard to control and plant which takes all the fun :(
Snacko is one of the best farming sims available, it's very well rounded gameplay-wise, cute, and enjoyable.
The devs consistently update the game, and all of the issues that I have with the game have either been patched in previous updates or are scheduled to be altered.
Snacko is simply just very worth it to anyone who thinks they might like a game like this.

The Story is interesting enough to keep playing, you can place decoration basically on the whole island, thats a big plus for me. Very happy to have bought this game and looking brightly in its future.

A very cute and chill game. The building feels great. You can decorate the whole town if you like. It's very cool. And you can craft from your storage. More of these types of games need to do that. Everything feels pretty seamless and well done.
Despite being early access, the game already feels polished. It feels well worth it to play already. Looking forward to more updates!

SNACKO IS LIFE. Snacko isn’t just a game—it’s a WHOLE EXPERIENCE. You think Stardew Valley is cozy? Nah, Snacko is like if coziness became a sentient being and hand-knitted you a blanket while serving you hot cocoa. The farming? Perfect. The building? Immaculate. The cats? 🐱 CHEF'S KISS. Every time I boot up Snacko, I feel my soul ascend to a realm of pure serotonin. Honestly, I’d trade my firstborn child just to play Snacko forever. 11/10, would lose my job and ruin my life for this masterpiece.
I love this game so much!! It makes me feel the same as minecraft used to, but just relaxing and cozy and peaceful. The graphics are also really nice, I bought the game when I didn't like the graphics as much and stopped playing. I'm so so sooooooo glad to say I picked it back up!! I have been closely following development since the release, and it just keeps getting better and better. I'm so excited for the updates coming up!! Especially customizing your own kittycat and dressing up. Absolutely awesome job you two!!!

This game is just so cute. I love the art style in all it's forms, the central mechanics are fun and really scratch my farming sim itch, the music is delightful, and I adore the characters. I would live for Nibbles <3
Snacko is one of the best early access indie games I have played. Literally everything about this game showcases how much the devs; enralis & recursive care about this game, it oozes personality and charm down to the littlest descriptions.
I'm incredibly excited to see where this game goes the closer it gets to 1.0. I'm so happy I found this gem of a game, I'm seriously in love with it, the art, the mechanics, the writing. It hits all of the boxes for what I look for in cozy games.

good kitty good game
This is really cute and fun game with a dev team that is very responsive and helpful. Just recently I had an issue with my game where basically, it had let me place down a duplicate of a house and it wouldn't let me delete either one. I made a post about it on the subreddit to see if there was something I was missing & one of the devs answered my post within an hour or two & offered to fix my save file for me to remove the second house (they also released a hotfix patch the same day I posted that prevents you from doing this anymore). I ended up not taking them up on it since it turns out the extra house doesn't cause any game breaking issues but I really appreciated that they were more than willing to fix it & they also sent detailed instructions on how to send over the save file to them. I can't recommend this game enough, especially if you like cozy games with cute animal characters.
Not only is the game super cute, comfy, and amazing in general, but the devs are literally the coolest and sweetest ever, 100/10 game I recommend!!!

I enjoyed the game very much, even in its current state. It was very apparent in many places that the game is currently unfinished. There were features that didn't seem to work as intended, but the great communication from developers on their Discord server is keeping my hopes up that this game will become more and more amazing with every new update!
As a more impatient person, I really appreciate all the quality of life features that the game includes. The developers really seem to understand what fun means, instead of trying to intentionally make everything take more time and patience than it has to.
When going into the game, I was especially interested in the characters and how they are interacted with. And there the game seems to be in a bit rough state currently. The best aspects of this side of the game are the quest board & the quests, which were very convenient and engaging, and the overall design of the characters that can be invited to the city. Whereas a few characters felt a bit one-dimensional, there were many characters in the mix that were really fun and great.
However, the two negatives that I had were the presence of a gifting system and the triggers for character events being too well hidden or not working correctly. It is a personal opinion but I just don't like gifting systems - they feel like a lottery where the grand prize is a highway to the heart of the character through a hundred slices of cake (or whatever the character prefers). However, here it needs to be said that I was very positively surprised by the fact that the characters very often said quite directly what they liked and what they didn't like. But still, some of those comments were locked behind character events and it seemed to me that just talking to the characters didn't get me any closer to unlocking them. Regarding the triggers for the character events, they were so difficult to find and to trigger that it wasn't uncommon for me to see the first character events when my relationship with the character was already full. And there are some characters that I have a full relationship with but have only seen one or zero character events from. But here I was told by the developers that there would be changes to how this works so I am very hopeful that this game will be a much better experience in the future in this regard.
Overall, very enjoyable game! An incredible achievement from the devs! Will play again when the characters are easier to interact with. Will play with a friend if/when a co-op is added!

Fun little game to play if you have the time.
The decorating and building is phenomenal, easily the best ive ever seen in any game of this genre.
For the overall gameplay however its still rather shallow... there is no obvious way to progress and since the playerbase is rather tiny at the moment, finding the specific item needed can take some time and guesswork.
Art style is great, the NPC interactions feel rather alive but I wish there was more depth to it.
Keep in mind it is early access so the flaws I mentioned might get fixed over time.
Nominating this game for being an incredible game to play whenever I want a casual farming experience.

Snacko is an adorable farming/life sim where you play as a cat. (This is already a great start :3)
In Snacko, your character (whose default name is Momo) is found by an elderly gray cat, a farmer named Nobu. He teaches you and your cat friend Mikan how to build a starter house, how to farm, and about the island and its history.
There's a mysterious darkness over the land called Miasma, and parts of the old town center are dilapidated from age. However, with some hard work, you can restore the town, repair the cultural center, and revitalize the town and land again. :)
The game features an adorable art style, cute characters, crops to grow, lots of decorations to decorate your farm and town with, a museum where you can donate fish, furniture, foods, and other items, and so much more!
The soundtrack, environments, gameplay, everything was just amazing. I initially played the game's demo twice, and I bought it recently because I was so excited to get the full game as soon as I could afford it! The game's demo left a huge smile on my face.
There are so many cute details, like how your cat character curls up on their bed when you end the day, the cute "game saved" screen with cute cows and chickens, and I could go on. :3

With how much the reviews hyped up this game, along with the 25$ price tag, I expected way more. I understand that the game is in early release, but it is painful to play. I put 18 hours into trying so hard to love this game.
Everything about the crafting mechanics are terrible. For example, if I need 10 stone paths for a quest, and I already have 9, I can't just craft the 10th one. If you already own an item, the option to craft it disappears. So you need to place all 9 of your items, craft the 10th one, then pick all 9 back up. I also really hate that things can't just be crafted from the work bench.
The mines are a nightmare. You cant see anything with the camera constantly zooming in on your characters head and end up dying constantly. Since crafting and mining are what seems to be the two most important parts of the game, it's crazy that this is where they are at.
The map does not have markers for anything other than the characters, and even those are often wrong about whether or not the person is there.
Honestly, even if all of the terribly implemented mechanics and controls disappeared, the game is just empty. There really isnt any content to it. 80% of my time is spent trying to get around clunky game mechanics or restarting the day due to crashing. There are much better games, at half the price.
I was super excited for this game, and wanted to support it. I hope it gets turned around. But this game has already been out in EA for almost a year. For it to still be in this state, I don't have much hope. I definitely do not recommend this. Even on sale. I feel like the price for this game needs to come waaay down with where it's at right now. I'm going to uninstall and wait a while on this one.

What an absolute gem!!! This game is absolutely brilliant and runs perfect on my steam deck. I have many hours on Animal crossing and stardew but this is a very special game! I really recommend this game sooooo much it's just brilliant ❤️❤️❤️.. Huge thanks to the Developers for this game it's a masterpiece. The building mechanics are amazing it just works so well👍🏻

What shall I say... I love cats... I can sleep anywhere with my Sleepbox! I can drive in a mini car...
I don't have to carry everything around with me and still be able to Craft.
It's so cute and promising, For all ages !
I can even have a relationship with other animals.
There are also secrets and the best thing is that I can finally bring a really broken city back to life.
All it needed was a silly Cruse hahaha...ha ... suddenly it turned into a Horror Game!

The cameraman in the mines has a stroke every now and again. However, one might say that coloring yourself as a watermelon is worth it in the longrun, soooo-
snacko is such a unique amazing game. its sort of like stardew valley and animal crossing but has so many unique features. seeing my town go from abandoned and uninhabited to populated and all decorated was so satisfying and this game has great building and customisation and i cant wait for more items to be added. buy this game you wont regret it
