i remember playing this game on my father's PC on Windows 7...
made me feel nostalgic ;(
I played this game for hours and hours on end when I was a kid. You'd find me playing the cake game most of the time. There was something about the colors and the smooth, kinda shiny art style that made my autistic brain say "yes this, I want this." It's honestly still pretty aesthetically pleasing for me,

attaining all of the achievements is not worth the hassle. it requires an unreasonable amount of effort for a game that is supposedly targeted toward a younger audience. it's a bummer seeing as it's a childhood favorite of mine... won't be touching the game for some time to say the least.
nostalgia aside this looks nothing like the original game and should've realized that before buying it
for $2 and the nostalgia it's a fire game but other than that it's wack from the UI to the responsiveness
I used to play this game when my dad had an old computer. I was 4 years old, and it was the first game I ever played. It’s one of the most nostalgic games for me, and it’s still great even today. Replaying it brings back that feeling all over again.

fun game, obviously its very dated, but for 2 bucks, its a nice memory lane trip.
achievements are all very simply besides the rng one with the hard outfits guesses.
Got too excited due to nostalgia add picked this up. Obviously it's a rip-off/stolen. The game you're looking for is "Purble Place" which you can download for free from a site that converted all of the Windows 7 games into Windows 10 and 11.
So not only can you get Purble Place but all of the other classics as well.
Over all it's a decent remake or whatever you want to call it but unless you REALLY want achievements I'd just download the good 'ol classic.

Purple Place is the best funnest childhood game out there, however the achievements for this game suck bootyhole. Why the absolute dog fuck is there an achievement for guessing the dressup game on the first try? So much that people have taken the damn time to make a scripting BOT, to help achieve this.
Absolute disgrace for even adding something like that 0/10 stars

1 hour of nostalgic gameplay, followed by 90 hours of pointless grinding for a tedious rng based achievement.
I cant in good faith recommend this game seeing as the dev is profiting off of a reskinned version of a game they played no part in creating.
Kinda sad how many people aren't realizing that this is just a rip-off of the original game obliviously uploaded to gain money out of it but hey GG for recreating every assets and not getting a copyright strike (PS the game's original name was also "Purble Place") while also optimizing the original game through unity

This game was in it's prime back in like 2008, I love it for that and will always remember the memories I gained from this game and how it really was a piece of gaming art I enjoyed. praise aside now the community hub is just filled with stupid fucking russians so my thanks ends at the game, I hope every russian shit posting on this game fucking croaks.

This is soulless slop wearing the skin of Purple Place, this is a disgrace to windows 7/vista and this "port" is a shell of its former glory. I want my disgusting compressed sound effects back.

I refunded this game after realizing something felt off.
The game itself works great, BUT it's a rip-off of the original game, which was available for free and came with Windows Vista!
Here the design got changed enough to look familiar - when comparing the original with this one, differences are quite obvious.
If you don't mind rip-offs, buy it.
But it was nothing for me, because I prefer the original design over this one - It didn't feel polished enough. There could be more sound effects as well - looking at comparisons again.
Seriously.... cannot recommend it as someone who played Purble Place many years ago.
Beware that this it NOT Purble Place and the publisher relies on you misreading the game's title

Day 1 - I have no idea how many cakes I baked, but let's say around 15-20

Anyone who has used Windows Vista and 7... has played Purple Place a lot... and since it's a remaster... (if I can call it a remaster)
it's cool and improved... but it's the same game, so don't worry and give it a chance!
distraction and peace... that's the definition of this incredible and nostalgic game

3/10. Glad to see my childhood game here, and the special part about it is the achievement system and it's playable on a macOS, but I wasn't that happy when i found out that it wasn't the original game but in fact a copy without credits.
The UI (fonts, menus) and the remake of the art are dissatisfactory. They were plain and a little bit unsightly, comparing to the original free game which the art were more attractive and good looking.
For example:
->the transition of shadows and light was natural for the original fashion frenzy and UI
->unnatural transition and even use of grey spray (it's like using papyrus in designing) for the remake
->the transparency and texture of window is portrayed in the original memory match
->a little bit plain for the remake
Art is still a subjective thing... but I believe the fact that BUGS AND FREEZE OFTEN HAPPENS in cake master and other two games is objective. It severely ruin my experience of enjoying my nostalgic memories which makes me not recommend this game.
