Loved it :D
Really liked this one.
Just like the 2nd generation, it is a great clue-based hidden object game,
with cute and interesting people and animals, humorous clues, story lines connecting levels, moderate difficulty, rich buildings and props
I can say this work without hesitation I have completed each generation several times and created many of my own maps
The following is some personal opinion
1. If it can be like Maze Detective, each level has some unprompted items to find, and finally these items can be combined into a trophy or treasure map to open a hidden map, I think it will be a way to enrich the game and satisfy both needs. Some collecting habits also make all the fun corners of the game noticed. The most important thing is that there are never enough maps. The more items, the more game time.
2. I like the story in the game very much. Unfortunately, the story is only used as an opening introduction. It would be exciting if the game process could be made like the player advancing the story. For example, in an alien map, a The astronaut needs the player to find his lost space suit, personal belongings, and food on the way so that he can go to the universe on time. In the next picture, the astronaut's spacecraft breaks down and the player needs to help find the lost tools and parts. and troublesome animals to enable the spacecraft to be repaired. In the third picture, the spacecraft unfortunately crashed on a strange planet. Players need to help the astronauts find survival tools and batteries for the distress signal transmitter.
3. Now that there is a function to switch weather, can you create a function to switch time, so that based on the second suggestion, a map can evolve into a complete ongoing story. For example, the time switching points are early morning, noon, and evening, then the stories that can correspond to these three time periods will also have corresponding causes, processes, and results. In the chapter of Victoria, if you can experience the warning before the theft (early morning), tight defense It will be immersive and exciting to get the lost items (noon) and recover the items (evening), because it is us who help solve the case. In this way, the constant search for items on maps will become practical. meaning
Finally, I very much hope to see the follow-up of this work as soon as possible. I will support it as soon as possible as always.
Wasted potential. Some levels are just stupid sparse. They are waiting for the "community" to fill in the holes with levels. I say, you failed. Same engine, sloppy levels with very little to find, and the demand for modders to fill in the hole. I will not be buying any more of your games. This should have been DLC.
Cute but sooooooo easy.
Another solid entry to the franchise.
Nice little DLC for the second Hidden Through Time game. If you enjoyed things like iSpy books or Spooky Mansion, this may be for you! I have played a lot of games where you need to spot the hidden objects and this is the only series that has ever successfully pulled it off. This may have been a pretty short DLC, but I enjoyed every second of it. Sometimes it took me an embarrassing amount of time to find some objects. However, the chill atmosphere and story made even that enjoyable. They have done it again and delivered on a great hidden object game. Honestly, the only game I feel successfully captures the iSpy experience, but also adds its own unique style and whimsy to the experience. 8.5/10
Cute stories that goes with the game, everything you click on makes a sound.
These games just scratch a very specific itch in my brain. Cute animation, just something nice to chill out and do that doesn't take a lot of brain power.
Hidden Through Time is a great hidden object series, this is no different. It is very short, 3 chapters with 11 levels each. But it does include a level editor and user created levels. It took me about 4 hours to get every achievement in the game. Because of the length I'd recommend picking this game up on sale.
i love this game. i wish it was way longer though. hoping they release more soon
A complete downgrade from the original Hidden Through Time in every single way. I very much wanted to like this game and although I did not enjoy the sequel, I wanted to give this... DLC that's not a DLC...? A chance. After completing 4 or 5 maps in less than 20 minutes, AND experiencing annoying visual bugs, I have to say I cannot recommend this to anyone.
The difficulty of the developer made maps is absurdly easy. Something that wasn't true for the original game. Unless you are a literal child, there is no challenge whatsoever. It's barely even a game. It seems to be developed solely for the purpose of allowing people to make community maps--and aside from my personal distaste at that, I have a genuine criticism to make as well: Since this is not a DLC, you can only use assets from this game in your maps. As far as I can tell, you CANNOT use any of the assets from Hidden Through Time 2, Myths & Magic (except for the ones that were recycled in this game). I believe this is probably because both of these sequel releases are very poorly optimized (tons of lag on loading screens and ridiculous loading times), but I can't say that for fact. What I can say for certain is that in the original Hidden Through Time, all of the objects from every DLC were available in the map creator.
Lastly, and this is just a personal nitpick, but I very much dislike the scale of the objects in this game. In the original, everything felt a lot smaller but the buildings felt quite large, so it had more of a classic Where's Waldo type of feel. Everything in this game feels too big and the buildings are quite small, so there isn't much room for people to create maps that really tell hilarious stories or have quite high difficulties by hiding objects really well in large maps. It just feels like the magic is totally lost. Although I am a die hard fan of the original, I will be refunding without even playing the rest of the maps.
I do not need an intro paragraph to tell me a story. The developer made maps in the original did that amazingly, and solely by using the objects to do so. Because this game has none of the soul, it's relying on words to fill in the gaps.
Still joy in the subtle environmental micro-storytelling.
I gave Hidden Through Time 2: Myths and Magic a thumbs down because I felt it added nothing meaningful to the original Hidden Through Time, which already had online user-created content. Myths and Magic also had wide fluctuations in puzzle quality, leading to an unsatisfactory experience as a whole.
I'm happy to say that Discovery is a more consistent and straightforward entry in the series. It's also easier and shorter: I completed it in half the time as Myths and Magic. But that's actually a positive considering how frustrating some of the Myths and Magic levels could be.
One very weird annoyance is that when you find an object the clue disappears! Sometimes I found objects via a random click and thus never got to know what the clue was. What an odd design decision. Sad face.
The bottom line is that if you enjoyed the original Hidden Through Time then you can skip Myths and Magic and go straight to Discovery. Or not. It's not really necessary. And it could easily have just been a DLC for the first game.
Took me three hours to play through the campaign levels, get it on sale.
