Very clean rhythm game with good selection of songs. Runs great on the steam deck with trackpads only (no clicking sounds).
pretty peak but some songs last too long or sound too weird
I am very bad but it's super unique and fun
Pretty awesome game. It's fairly unique because of the rotating wheel and the consequential control schemes that work really nicely with it (mouse, control stick, MIDI controller, etc.). I also think that the development of the game has been handled well, and it's been getting some QoL updates & some free songs over time, which is neat.
There's also a community-run platform for playing community-made tracks called SpinShare, so you're not just limited to the songs released by the devs.
Can confirm you spin a wheel and press buttons to the rhythm.
Great game with some nice and easy to learn mechanics. If you have basic to mid range skills like me you will have fun up to hard difficulty, expert and xd are to much for me. Awesome songs and customizations.
I've gone through 2 mousepads and dug a rut in the touchpad on my steam deck in the process of playing this. I think this game is entropy manifest.
Super polished arcade-like rhythm game. I'm sitting at around difficulty 29 to 30, and averaging into top 100 in overall score ranking. Still a lot of room for improvement, but I'm enjoying every step of progress I've made so far.
Conceptually similar to something like Sound Voltex, though mechanically more along the lines of Beat Saber as far as having a discernible "line" that you follow throughout a track. The spin notes are a wicked fun idea done really well, the only tiny complaint I have is that missing one can totally throw you off the line unless you've already got a solid grasp of the situation.
Soundtrack ranges across the major EDM subgenres like trance, dubstep, trap, house, to funk fusion. Pretty solid array of names here like Nitro Fun, Hyper Potions, 2 Mello, etc. A lot of Monstercat musicians. The mod scene is very well supported by the devs, and loading custom tracks is easy as can be. I wouldn't mind more electro swing in the vanilla game, though.
The difficulty can get pretty high, I'm almost done with the hardest tracks in the base game. Since release, the devs have implemented bonus community charts that start pushing into DJ Max territory which I'll probably be chipping away at for quite a while. It's not the hardest in the genre, but the ceiling is appreciably high.
Given the sale price the game often goes at and the amount on offer here, I think this is up there as one of the best rhythm games on Steam. I highly recommend it.
Banger game. I have three very compelling arguments for why this is one of the best purchases of my life:
1. I've played a lot of rhythm games over the years, and in my opinion, this one has the most expressive gameplay. Since starting this game, I have played many charts that feel like an extension of the songs themselves.
2. The skill ceiling is very high (and the difficulty curve is very smooth as well), with community-made customs going even higher, ensuring that dedicated players will never be lacking in new experiences or new heights to reach. After 120+ hrs, I'm still improving and I still have even harder charts to work towards.
3. Every few months (for over two years now since version 1.0), a new free update comes out with 2+ new songs, and the highest difficulty setting is comprised exclusively of charts created and voted for by the community. This level of developer dedication to their community is something the games industry needs more of.
It's honestly hard to describe in words how perfect this game feels to play, and even the trailers weren't very convincing when I first looked at the game-- I really think in order to understand how amazing SRXD is, you need to play it for yourself (fortunately there's a demo for that). As a final note: I know that there's a lot of hype around the MIDI turntable support, but as a keyboard and mouse player, I would like to assure you that you don't need any special controller to have a great time.
One of the best rhythm games I have played in recent memory, fun to play with a controller.
I really love this game, it is like playing dj hero again, but better, you can play with a controller, MNK or MIDI controlelr which makes it a hundred times better. I really urge you to play it, even with MNK
Would you recommend this game to other players? yes!
I LOVE THIS GAME
Any game that has 2Mello and Anamanaguchi in it is automatically peak
love me some built in custom song functionality
yessssss
fun
Great Rythym game if you like electronic music. I play with PS5 controller and it is awesome. Must be greater with DJ controller like that jogwheel stuff. But I think thats only necessary to master the higher difficults. I had already on "normal" a lot of fun. "Hard is already a challenge ... check it out!
one of the most innovative rhythm games i've played in years
It makes my wrist hurt but I like it a lot :)
ARE YOU READY? GO!
This is genuinely one of the best rhythm games I've ever played.
The gameplay is very unique. You control a wheel with two colors, and you need to Match notes with the wheel according to their colors. I think that itself is interesting already, but there's more. There's Tap, Hold, Flick, Beat, Spin, and Scratch notes. These notes are clearly indicated as well.
This might sound complicated, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes doable and creates some really satisfying and fun gameplay, it makes you feel in tune with the rhythm, especially on higher difficulties.
The difficulty curve is quite smooth too. When I was mainly playing Hard-Expert tracks, XD difficulty felt insurmountable, but as I slowly got better, I eventually S ranked all of the Expert tracks. After that I tried out some XD tracks, suddenly I was able to pass them, and as of now I have S ranks on all XD tracks. This took me a while but it was all worth it. I look forward to clearing the RemiXD tracks, which are made by the community (yes there's a difficulty that's even harder than XD).
Speaking of community made tracks, you can also download custom tracks using SpinShare, and I gotta say, these custom charts are a blast to play through. I'm really glad the game includes custom charts in the form of RemiXD, and there are still more to come! You can also share videos of custom tracks in the Spin Rhythm XD Discord, and there are constantly community events being hosted, so that's great to see.
If you like rhythm games, consider giving this a try!
Very fun, very intuitive, easy to learn hard to master type shit. A great game for any rhythm game enjoyer who needs to turn off their brain for a bit.
Fantastic, fun, like bop-it with better music
quite possibly the best rhythm game ever
spim
game too easy, just spin to the rythm
One of the most unique and fun rhythm games I have played for a while. This gives me massive DJ Hero vibes, but extremely well-polished. Easily goes in my top Rhythm games with DDR, A Dance of Fire and Ice, DJ Max, and Muse Dash.
The game system is very unique and I haven't seen anything like it before. The UI is great and is always improving, the rhythm feedback is flawless, the community is extremely active, and best of all... YOU CAN ADD YOUR OWN CUSTOM TRACKS. W Rhythm Game.
Spin Rhythm XD is not just another rhythm game, but it has it's own twist, spin, flick and flow to it and these works well and makes the game fun to play. It focuses on the electronic songs, which fits perfectly to the "being a DJ" in the game and the songs are good too. There are 70 songs to play in the base game in 5 different difficulties, you need to unlock 48 by leveling up with the other songs, which is a straightforward system. Visuals are colorful, most skins looks good and they doesn't the eye. Controls both on controller and keyboard and mouse is playable, however at first you will have to get used to the mechanics of the game, but it's not bad. You can also chart your own songs in the game, the charter is a bit hard to use at first but you can get used to it. There is a couch multiplayer and VR support for this game, which is pretty nice.
However, one thing I missed is to add custom songs. It's clear that I can chart my own songs, but I thought there will be an option to add some made by the community, but for that you need to visit a third party site and add the song manually. You can learn more about it from this guide made by fentanil0.
Also, the game is quite difficult even on hard difficulty, for some this could be discouraging. Also, unlocking songs doesn't take too much time in the base game, however around the 55-60th song the experience level start to get more demanding and you have to replay previous songs. Of course, if you aim to get better in the game, this is a good time to play on a higher difficulty, but for some people this could be a little bit boring. Lastly, this is not really against the game but the Monstercat and Chillhop DLCs with 10-10 songs and a few cosmetics to the HUD is expensive in general, so either get it when it's on sale, or don't bother with them, as by default they together cost more than the base game for whatever reason.
If you are into the rhythm game genre and you don't mind some electronic tunes, give it a spin to this game. In my opinion, this is one of the better modern rhythm games to play which plays and feels unique and I can definitely recommend it. 18€ is a bit much, but if you can get it for 10-12€, it's a good deal.

I can't believe I hadn't found this sooner. As a lover of rhythm games, this ticked more boxes than I would've imagined. Having a great time, would recommend! Just wished I'd found it sooner!
Spin Rhythm XD is a beautiful arcade-style rhythm game which can be played with a wide variety of controllers. Whether you prefer to play with keyboard and mouse controls, stick and button controls, motion controls, or even MIDI turntable controls, Spin Rhythm XD offers a wide variety of electronic music tracks, from New Wave and Nu-Disco to Chillhop and Acid Jazz. And, best of all, the controls and visuals can be easily tweaked and customised to the players' preferences.
super fun and challenging rhythm game that has a great free track selection and great customization options!
Spin Rhythm XD is one of the best rhythm games for PC, and my time playing it clearly shows how much I love it. The game is really challenging, especially on higher difficulty levels like XD and the community-made RemiXD modes.
For me, it strikes the perfect balance between challenge, features, and gameplay mechanics, making it enjoyable to play and keeping me coming back for more.
There are a lot of skins available, especially if you grab the DLC packs. If you love customizing, you’ll appreciate this game. It’s also friendly for those with color blindness since you can change the note colors to better suit your needs.
The game also includes a ton of accessibility options—some of the best I've seen in any rhythm game. It has standard options like a no-fail mode, and you can adjust track speed and customize your control style to fit your preferences. A+ for accessibility!
The game mainly features electronic and EDM music, but if that’s not your thing, you can buy DLC packs like the Chillhop pack. You can also create and import your own custom tracks, which I think is really important for a well-rounded rhythm game.
The chart editor is great, but it relies heavily on keyboard shortcuts, which might take a little time to get used to. What's really strange is having to access the %appdata% and LocalLow folder to import your tracks and album artwork, or to click the "Show Files" button instead of doing it directly in the game. This can be a bit inconvenient and confusing at first, but overall, the editor is fantastic.
The game has a cool futuristic look with a new interface that is neat and easy to navigate. This is especially helpful if, like me, you have a lot of custom songs saved. You can sort through your songs easily with filtering options or just search for specific keywords. Super handy!
Overall, Spin Rhythm XD is a must-have if you're a rhythm game fan. I highly recommend picking it up!
Great rhythm game. The use of gyro is implemented in a perfect way, the game is sleek and very enjoyable thanks to that. It is also one of kind game.
it gud
Very fun, very polished
You'll love it if you like rhythm games
Sure, it's good but I don't have the blood pressure to play these kinds of games.
If you are a big rythem game player going into accessibility settings and turn track speed override to 30, have fun
My favorite PC rhythm game ever. Feels awesome whether using kbm, controller, or a MIDI DJ controller. I do, and will continue to steadily pour hours into this game for as long as I live.
太上头了这个音游
spin :)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Got this on Steam Deck OLED and what can I say other than, it's an absolute must buy especially at this price. Runs and looks incredible and I've not encountered any issues! I'd highly recommend buying this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very good rhythm game, surprised it hasn't gotten more attention.
saved my life
Clearly polished and works well in VR.
Yes just yes.
If you liked DJ hero or enjoy not easy and fun music games then get this one, there is literally nothing bad with it
I have a sound voltex controller and this game is an absolute blast to play. Very well done!
Highly recommended.
love rhythm games and this is a really good one, game feels entirely clean overall and very polished.
hits feel good especially when you get in a flow state, imo music needs a bit of variety as its mostly edm/dubstep right now, but im enjoying it regardless.
Game is polished like first party Nintendo content!
Perfect for the Steam Deck, which is where I play it (offline, therefore my playtime doesn't show up correctly).
IMO a must get if you like rhythm games and own a Steam Deck.
You can unlock all tracks on easy/normal mode.
Beware that at least half of them are dubstep.
Tip for increased enjoyment: When you unlock a new track, like it. Set custom filter to liked tracks only. Play through a song, if you don't like the music, remove the like.
That way you'll soon be only playing music you enjoy.
