This game was so expertly designed, and messes with you in just the right way to not only make it fun, but also to really drive home the point the game makes at the very end. It's hard to talk about this game without spoiling it (sort of), but if you like puzzle games or games that take weird turns this is absolutely for you. I can't recommend it enough to pretty much anyone.
Game story-line finishes fairly quick and the game runs well. The story and message is good but the content is extremely small. The developers had a great concept, but the puzzles are mind-numbingly easy. 99% of the level sections are just moving the cursor around until you realize you can interact with something, then you manipulate the size in a way, and then move onto the next level.
I've seen reviews compare this to the Stanley Parable or Portal and it's not. It's the Weenie Hut Jr's version of those games.
Its relaxing but ultimately more of a interact-able movie (walking simulator) than an actual game. A video of a walk-through of the game can give the same experience. I enjoyed the game, but I would neither recommend it for the base price (20 USD) nor when it's on sale (10 USD).
Puzzles aren't overly challenging, but they the can be a bit tricky, especially if you haven't seen the game before. The story is great and culminates in a great final cutscene. The are lots of collectibles and other things to do too.
Very relaxing game, enjoyed it so much. Was puzzled for a bit but figured things out with the help of a few youtube videos. 10/10 want to play again.

Enjoyed the puzzles of the game and the style, very fun to mess around with all the objects in different levels. The movement felt clunky and much less enjoyable than other games.
Very fun game,. Puzzles were a not too difficult but still enjoyable (though I don't play puzzle games often). The extra content like the challenge mode, getting all achievements, etc. were also very fun and enjoyable. Would recommend.

A masterpiece. If you liked Stanley's Parable, this is for you. Imagine that, with puzzles. Short, but mind-twisting fun. Story is not overly complex (picture Inception but for psychiatric help purposes), but is neatly delivered.
From the bottom of my heart i rate this a 10/10. i would recommend going in blind and letting the game speak for itself.
If you enjoy 10/10 games get this. i only have a few complaints are the fact that its kinda short does not have a DLC.
Now if you are like me and you think that this game isn't worth the money for how short it is your wrong you will love
every single second of it. if your reading this and you haven't bought it yet stop reading and buy it. PS try not to google the answers if you think your stuck just remember to think outside the box. Hope you enjoyed it as much as i did.
Clever game that I very much enjoyed. Puzzles reasonably simple to figure out, for the most part. Nice story.
This game has a very interesting concept and teaches/forces you to consider other perspectives and lateral thinking.
Only for about 5 hours, though, so look out for it being on sale.

Very good puzzler. Vaguely Portal-esque in narrative style, the game gets better and better as you progress through it. And more weird!
Arguably a bit expensive even on offer (£7) for the length of the game, which is very short (3 hours ish).
This is genuinely one of my favorite games. Superliminal is an absolutely stunning, innovative, and crazy limitation-breaking game, which can be comparable to games like the Stanley Parable. Many times I soft locked myself, but hey that's part of the fun. This game will always be one of the very best.
Bought for the liminal vibes, played and thought it was about dementia or something, finished almost in tears, with good chills from the realization and music, and in general awe. What a gem.
Such a good game i've played this so many times on PS and thought i'd revisit it here and i'm so glad i did. It's not only an amazing puzzle game but it's also an amazing statement on how people perceive life. Such a well thought out and mind bending game. 10/10

i just started playing games. I choose this game because I like puzzles. Overall, this games is amazing, this game has deeper meaning and a good twist. The last lines before I completed this is literally gives me chill. 10/10
even if this is a puzzle game this game means a lot to me, it came on a time i was feeling a little down and i originally played it on xbox game pass, now that i own it on steam i realize how much of my life has changed from the day i played it for the first time thank you pillow castle for waking me up the right moment ❤️
Great game. Was looking for something that recaptures the original Portal-like experience and this was perfect.
This is a work of art. One of the funniest puzzle games along side with Portal.
The game keeps delivering throuout the whole experience, keeping you amused with unexpected.
And the final is something unique.
THIS GAME KEEPS FOOLING ME. You get used to the mechanics then they slap you in the face and suddenly you're falling and have NOCLUEWHAT'S GOING ON, overrall, very good. Would recommend it, quite awesome . . .. . ... . but i now have a visceral reaction whenever i see a chess pawn, soda can, clouds or apples.
This Glenn Pierce guy has something wrong with himself. One of the best puzzle game i have ever played and the game was very educational as well hope people understand the concept of the game

John Superliminal defeated the evil AI ShodaDOS in his Inception dreamscape with the help of Doctor Glenn Pierce, some tabletop pieces, moldy cheese and a lot of canned soda. That's all you need.
Surreal puzzle game about controlling and changing perspectives to progress further. Though most of the puzzles aren't all that challenging or memorable. I will say that the speech at the end was surprisingly touching and quite eye-watering if I'm honest.
It's a fun time, overall. 6.5/10
I truly am struggling to think of a fully-immersive 3D gameplay puzzler I enjoyed more. It's my hole, and it was made for me. "Superliminal" deserves to be mentioned in the same breathless sentence as "The Witness" and "Portal." A beautiful and fascinating experience.

Cool game, not worth the price for the little playtime you get out of it in my opinion. If it's on sale, sure. Pretty buggy, but not unplayable buggy.
On around the same level as Portal 2 but with a very different puzzle style, the ending to this game is so well put together and insanely rewarding, very inspiring. Also mind-bending with super smooth transitions and pretty lag free. Just play it it's worth it, especially if you don't know anything about it yet and ESPECIALLY if you like calming jazz
Great game. Very chill, very quick to play through, and very pleasant. Puzzles are amazing, some of them are pretty easy, while others will make you think for solid few minutes before figuring them out. I really liked the perspective tricks in some of the puzzles, especially at the end of the game (I am a sucker for paradoxes and non-euclidian geometry). The visual effects are top-notch, kudos to the developers for some amazingly done shaders. The music and SFX are great too, fits nicely with the levels. The story isn't anything extraordinary, it's pretty simple to understand, but it adds so much value to the game. There are maps made by others to play through once you beat the main story, as well as multiplayer mode and in-game workshop, which really makes up for the game's price. I think it's fair to assume that the game takes some inspiration from Portal, especially with the female voice that talks to you throughout the game. One small issue, that I noticed only on the macOS version is that graphics glitch a little bit at the end of the game, though nothing game-breaking. Overall, this is a pretty damn good game with great puzzles, story, graphics, and sound design.
Well, this one was fun! If you liked Portal you probably like this, too. I'd say the size is about Portal 1, the core game mechanic is brilliant and is expanded on in many fun ways through the levels and there is a narrator to make it even more hilarious. Recommended.

I would say perfect place to start if you've never played a puzzle game before.
I would say puzzles remind some mind blowing solutions from antichamber and story telling from the first part of Portal.

It's ok. Interesting concept, but it would be better as a level in a game or a demo. The game is far too long for its idea and overstays its welcome more than a few times. The plot is non-existent and quite often you're not sure why do you need to continue playing at all.
If youre a fan of these liminal spaces, its perfect. Gameplay is pretty easy and story is just a little raindrop in this liminal "rain".

In my Opinion one of the best Puzzlegames ever (tbh I haven't played that many but still).
Even though I had to think for a few minutes at some parts every level is doable and special.

Just finished playing. Easily one of the best games I've played in a long time! It's a total brain bender that constantly challenges your perspective and problem solving skills.
If you lovegames that mess with your mind and force you to think outside the box, this one's for you. That said, it does have a lot of shifting perspectives and visual effects, so maybe avoid it if you're prone to motion sickness. Otherwise, I cant recommed it enough!
Good brain puzzles, looking with a new perspective is key! And even the "scary" parts are usually a matter of perspective as well.
Might make you question reality for a period of time after closing the game...

More of an experience than a game, but what a trip! Very original, I'm not the biggest fan of 'think outside the box and do something crazy' puzzles, and prefer purely logic based challenges (for example Portal), but although this was tricky in some parts it wasn't frustratingly hard. I couldn't stop playing it and finished it in one sitting. It's pretty short, but worth playing.
