Indie horror game where you watch survelience cameras of a house and play "spot the difference" with creepy things. I like that it's fairly chill and not overwhelmingly scary. Wish it would tell you what you missed though
I'm on Paranoia Duty
This game has a way of gaslighting you like no other, it's a great twist on horror. As horror is meant to make your fears come to life, I'm on Observation Duty brings into question the fear of losing touch with reality as you'll slowly go insane believing that that spoon was never there, but when you report it: No anomaly of type 'Extra object' was found in 'Kitchen' 🫠🫠🫠
It also has spoopy-doopy ghosts and intruders that give more classic scares; definitely worth picking up.
I've observed things I should not have...
Pretty Fun, I suggest playing with a big group of people
The amount of anxiety I felt playing this game will haunt me for the rest of my life... 10/10
Took me 2.5 hours to do each house as a total noob to this style of game/any horror game. I will posit that the new house (as opposed to the old house level) had many more jump scares. The only truly frustrating part of this game is how long the reports take to go through, although I acknowledge that this is just a feature of the game.
Although this game can be challenging and slow, it can also be very entertaining and stressful. It takes some time learning the rooms and what goes where, but when you figure it out, some of the small movements make you feel schizo and question if you're imagining things. Also some of the random creatures that spawn are very unnerving.
Good game, very stressful sometimes, but overall a great moment
There was a guy wacking off in my shower
there may or may not be a creeper.....
very fun! like I Spy but actively changing.
I fear no horror game, but that thing...
it scares me...
A good game. Surprisingly scary - was jumpscared quite a few times. The ambience was terrifying - even when nothing was happening, I was jittery. Some of the details are so minute that it's easy to miss. The game is great at making you second-guess yourself. Was there two there before or is that an anomaly?
The only serious downfall to this game is the layout of the report system and the speed. I died so many times due to how long the reporting took. I would notice an anomaly, only I had submitted a report for ANOTHER anomaly and it was taking far too long to complete.
Apart from that setback, a great game, with a few jumpscares and a terrifying ambience.
Good fun with friends
no complaints! it is what it is!
....help im going insane i can't find the differences.
ahhh!
Very fun and addicting. 8/10
Fun game
Fun. Some good jump scares
Its good for an hour or so of play. some of the changes are so subtle that it feels a little pointless after a while. Good game for $2.50
This is a great introduction into a now large collection of spot the difference horror games. I loved this game and would recommend to anyone!
Skibidi
Since it's an old game, it feels a bit plain, but I think it's easy to play as there are no penalties for reporting errors.
Be careful as the left and right sides may be cut off depending on the settings.
This is my first time trying this. It was the first of a good few. i enjoyed Observation duty 7 over this one! absolutely SUCKED! would like my payment back for this piece of crap game. will be deleting this one
Very simple game idea but these are really addictive and fun to play, humor and scary things very well packed together easily 7/10
Quite scary a few times, kept me entertained, wasn't too hard, required multiple attempts without cheating. Some of the anomalies in both level are hard to understand what they are.
I was playing this game thinking it was pretty good... Then i saw the man in the shower and knew it was a great game
Spot the difference, but with creep factor, jump scares, ghosts and naked intruders.
I never thought I’d find myself playing a game like this, but I ended up really enjoying the experience.
This indie hidden object horror game may not have spine-chilling scares or jump scares, but it creates a unique atmosphere where the horror elements work to enhance the "hidden object" mechanic and the report mechanic, which challenges your memory as you look for and identify anomalies across different rooms. The tension from paranoia adds an extra layer of immersion, making the gameplay even more engaging.
The best part, by far, was how the game pulled my friends in. We dove in blindly, memorizing the rooms, only to make mistakes and lose because we started getting paranoid and misleading each other. It was a fun and intense experience that became even more memorable thanks to the way we played together. We got completely hooked, and now I’m planning to buy the next installments so we can keep playing as a team.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this game. If you enjoy testing your memory and finding anomalies in a horror setting, it’s definitely worth checking out. At only 3 EUR, it offers a unique and fun experience you won’t want to miss.
Made me go schizophrenic over whether or not an empty cup on the floor moved at all.
10/10.
this game is so sigma
Solid 8/10. Spooky, And Scary, And Skeletons~
I would highly recommend the 3rd observation duty for the first person aspect.
The entire series is amazing and just has great 2quirky4u energy.
While just throwing you into a weird eerie energy based off of weird faces / photos / weird room layouts, enough so when an anomaly catches you off guard it's just that much more unsettling.
you need insane patience for this game and the subtle changes are super annoying shits like nothing changes yet you'll lose repeatedly and you have no fuckin clue why. the black and white sucks dick. cant even adjust the HUD which is kinda in the way and no background noise makes it feel so dead and boring. only tense or scary moment is when you cant find the difference and you know it means starting over. no wonder this one isnt as popular as the others. i actually hate this game
FUN, BUT I HATE IT. My nerves couldn't handle needing to pay super close attention to fine details while waiting to be jumpscared the whole time. But, I did it to myself anyway because it was still somehow fun despite the constant dread.
⭐ 9/10 - A Unique and Spooky Spot-the-Difference Horror Game! ⭐
I'm on Observation Duty is a brilliantly unsettling horror game that turns something as simple as watching security cameras into a tense, nerve-wracking experience. Instead of running from monsters or hiding in closets, you’re tasked with spotting anomalies—subtle (and sometimes terrifying) changes in the environment. The game keeps you constantly on edge, making every session feel fresh and unpredictable.
The minimalist design works perfectly to amplify the tension, and the eerie silence (occasionally broken by creepy surprises) creates a chilling atmosphere. When things start to go wrong, you'll feel the panic set in as you scramble to report the anomalies before it's too late!
If you love horror games that rely on psychological tension rather than cheap jump scares, I'm on Observation Duty is a must-play. Highly recommended for fans of anomaly-spotting games, creepy atmospheres, and hidden horror lurking in plain sight!

👀 Stay vigilant... because something is watching back! 👀
This thing don't work on mac...well it did the first time, but after that it crashed after every launch...maybe it works better on a different distributor? But the ipad reviews seem worse. So may just be unplayable for macs on apple silicon.
Cool concept
Super fun in you're the type to pay attention to details! The jump scares are good too
makes you feel very accomplished when you get a report right
Great game
This is a really good horror game, I enjoyed it. I wish the first game had more content, though.
This game is basically gaslighting in a visual format and just about equally as terrifying I don't think I've ever screamed more in my life. Also very fun game to stream to friends especially if you all like a game that's challenging but not too difficult that feels like a mix of having a heart attack and a spot the difference type game. I love it
Played with friends to have more eyes on the screen, but still took many tries. Very fun tension that isn't too stressful. New house brings some new and interesting changes. Just found out there are 7 of these games!!
i hated the naked guy who appeared suddenly in kitchen :<
i love this game and i can not wait to play the other games
Interactive find the diffrence
Simple and fun
2 levels that each contain 5 rooms
The anomalies are not too hard to find when you play for the first time it might took you 2 tries to get used to it but definetly not overwhelming. This game is quite relaxing if you ask me, like if you have something on your mind and play this game you might forget your problems because you are trying your hardest to spot anomalies. Anomalies are pretty fun, especially the intruders. I think some people would complain that it is hard to understand if you got too anomilies got going on but i think that would ruin the charm of the game. It takes a bit long to get through 12 to 6 am yes but nothing too serious so i think thats okay.
My only critism would be reporting the anomolie takes too dang long, 2 levels are not enough more levels would be cool, and the luck acievemnts are kind of stupid.
Overall short cool kind of spooky experience, the price is definetly perfect for the game.
This is fun to play, like... once. I think I got frustrated enough on the first stage of JUST THIS FIRST GAME with its "only" five rooms, much less the SIX others (as of this writing). The problem is it feels like I'm being gaslighted, when I've replayed the game like ten times and feel like I know all the anomalies* and yet suddenly it will hit me with the GAME OVER YOU DEAD screen. Worse, when I'm finally just about to wrap up my shift! There's not an easy way to tell whether there are any anomalies or if I've overlooked anything, no Anomaly Counter to let me know to look more closely. Sometimes, I just have to guess at a report and hope it takes (though, I won't have any idea what it was after the fact). The later games (based on a stream I saw) at least hint at what type of anomalies were missed, but not this one.
*okay fine, I looked at a guide, but even by THAT, I still somehow missed two anomalies per the game's count, and when I compared the screencaps I took shortly before clearing the first stage, I could NOT find what the missed anomalies were!
Great alternative to staring at social media.
Fun game, makes you crap your pants sometimes. Beware of !!HUGE MAN!!
Jolly fun indeed
