no complaints! it is what it is!
....help im going insane i can't find the differences.
ahhh!
Very fun and addicting. 8/10
Fun game
Fun. Some good jump scares
Its good for an hour or so of play. some of the changes are so subtle that it feels a little pointless after a while. Good game for $2.50
This is a great introduction into a now large collection of spot the difference horror games. I loved this game and would recommend to anyone!
Skibidi
Since it's an old game, it feels a bit plain, but I think it's easy to play as there are no penalties for reporting errors.
Be careful as the left and right sides may be cut off depending on the settings.
This is my first time trying this. It was the first of a good few. i enjoyed Observation duty 7 over this one! absolutely SUCKED! would like my payment back for this piece of crap game. will be deleting this one
Very simple game idea but these are really addictive and fun to play, humor and scary things very well packed together easily 7/10
Quite scary a few times, kept me entertained, wasn't too hard, required multiple attempts without cheating. Some of the anomalies in both level are hard to understand what they are.
I was playing this game thinking it was pretty good... Then i saw the man in the shower and knew it was a great game
Spot the difference, but with creep factor, jump scares, ghosts and naked intruders.
I never thought I’d find myself playing a game like this, but I ended up really enjoying the experience.
This indie hidden object horror game may not have spine-chilling scares or jump scares, but it creates a unique atmosphere where the horror elements work to enhance the "hidden object" mechanic and the report mechanic, which challenges your memory as you look for and identify anomalies across different rooms. The tension from paranoia adds an extra layer of immersion, making the gameplay even more engaging.
The best part, by far, was how the game pulled my friends in. We dove in blindly, memorizing the rooms, only to make mistakes and lose because we started getting paranoid and misleading each other. It was a fun and intense experience that became even more memorable thanks to the way we played together. We got completely hooked, and now I’m planning to buy the next installments so we can keep playing as a team.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this game. If you enjoy testing your memory and finding anomalies in a horror setting, it’s definitely worth checking out. At only 3 EUR, it offers a unique and fun experience you won’t want to miss.
Made me go schizophrenic over whether or not an empty cup on the floor moved at all.
10/10.
this game is so sigma
Solid 8/10. Spooky, And Scary, And Skeletons~
I would highly recommend the 3rd observation duty for the first person aspect.
The entire series is amazing and just has great 2quirky4u energy.
While just throwing you into a weird eerie energy based off of weird faces / photos / weird room layouts, enough so when an anomaly catches you off guard it's just that much more unsettling.
you need insane patience for this game and the subtle changes are super annoying shits like nothing changes yet you'll lose repeatedly and you have no fuckin clue why. the black and white sucks dick. cant even adjust the HUD which is kinda in the way and no background noise makes it feel so dead and boring. only tense or scary moment is when you cant find the difference and you know it means starting over. no wonder this one isnt as popular as the others. i actually hate this game
FUN, BUT I HATE IT. My nerves couldn't handle needing to pay super close attention to fine details while waiting to be jumpscared the whole time. But, I did it to myself anyway because it was still somehow fun despite the constant dread.
⭐ 9/10 - A Unique and Spooky Spot-the-Difference Horror Game! ⭐
I'm on Observation Duty is a brilliantly unsettling horror game that turns something as simple as watching security cameras into a tense, nerve-wracking experience. Instead of running from monsters or hiding in closets, you’re tasked with spotting anomalies—subtle (and sometimes terrifying) changes in the environment. The game keeps you constantly on edge, making every session feel fresh and unpredictable.
The minimalist design works perfectly to amplify the tension, and the eerie silence (occasionally broken by creepy surprises) creates a chilling atmosphere. When things start to go wrong, you'll feel the panic set in as you scramble to report the anomalies before it's too late!
If you love horror games that rely on psychological tension rather than cheap jump scares, I'm on Observation Duty is a must-play. Highly recommended for fans of anomaly-spotting games, creepy atmospheres, and hidden horror lurking in plain sight!

👀 Stay vigilant... because something is watching back! 👀
This thing don't work on mac...well it did the first time, but after that it crashed after every launch...maybe it works better on a different distributor? But the ipad reviews seem worse. So may just be unplayable for macs on apple silicon.
Cool concept
Super fun in you're the type to pay attention to details! The jump scares are good too
makes you feel very accomplished when you get a report right
Great game
This is a really good horror game, I enjoyed it. I wish the first game had more content, though.
This game is basically gaslighting in a visual format and just about equally as terrifying I don't think I've ever screamed more in my life. Also very fun game to stream to friends especially if you all like a game that's challenging but not too difficult that feels like a mix of having a heart attack and a spot the difference type game. I love it
Played with friends to have more eyes on the screen, but still took many tries. Very fun tension that isn't too stressful. New house brings some new and interesting changes. Just found out there are 7 of these games!!
i hated the naked guy who appeared suddenly in kitchen :<
i love this game and i can not wait to play the other games
Interactive find the diffrence
Simple and fun
2 levels that each contain 5 rooms
The anomalies are not too hard to find when you play for the first time it might took you 2 tries to get used to it but definetly not overwhelming. This game is quite relaxing if you ask me, like if you have something on your mind and play this game you might forget your problems because you are trying your hardest to spot anomalies. Anomalies are pretty fun, especially the intruders. I think some people would complain that it is hard to understand if you got too anomilies got going on but i think that would ruin the charm of the game. It takes a bit long to get through 12 to 6 am yes but nothing too serious so i think thats okay.
My only critism would be reporting the anomolie takes too dang long, 2 levels are not enough more levels would be cool, and the luck acievemnts are kind of stupid.
Overall short cool kind of spooky experience, the price is definetly perfect for the game.
This is fun to play, like... once. I think I got frustrated enough on the first stage of JUST THIS FIRST GAME with its "only" five rooms, much less the SIX others (as of this writing). The problem is it feels like I'm being gaslighted, when I've replayed the game like ten times and feel like I know all the anomalies* and yet suddenly it will hit me with the GAME OVER YOU DEAD screen. Worse, when I'm finally just about to wrap up my shift! There's not an easy way to tell whether there are any anomalies or if I've overlooked anything, no Anomaly Counter to let me know to look more closely. Sometimes, I just have to guess at a report and hope it takes (though, I won't have any idea what it was after the fact). The later games (based on a stream I saw) at least hint at what type of anomalies were missed, but not this one.
*okay fine, I looked at a guide, but even by THAT, I still somehow missed two anomalies per the game's count, and when I compared the screencaps I took shortly before clearing the first stage, I could NOT find what the missed anomalies were!
Great alternative to staring at social media.
Fun game, makes you crap your pants sometimes. Beware of !!HUGE MAN!!
Jolly fun indeed
new house kinda lame and I've just been braindead going through it for 2 hours just to get the achievement, still nothing
would've prefered a time/memory based achievement than whatever this luck is
Old house is great, new house has a lot of good anomalies, but there are 3 events that can kill you and the report system is ass.
One of the original anomaly games and one of the best.
This has a retro feel for me, both with the aesthetic and sound design.
Quirky, humorous and interesting and definitely worth the time.
A must for any fan of anomaly spotting games.
This game offers a simple yet captivating experience. The atmosphere is well-crafted, and it genuinely manages to spook you a few times, adding an element of suspense. It’s an interesting game that keeps you engaged with its eerie vibe and surprises. Definitely worth checking out for a quick but enjoyable thrill!
Nice spot-the-difference game. The 'anomaly cleared' screen startled me more than anything else. Fun but not scary
This is an interesting but simple game. I found the atmosphere great and honestly got spooked a few times. Really fun and interesting.
very good game. love the big man.
This is a fun spot the difference game!
The fat guy in the bathroom is me
Yo timothy face like my neighbour son face lmao
First in series, but still very good. Interesting concept and if you enjoy what it has to offer for the price, I recommend going deeper onto next titles in series.
Achievenemts may require few replays, byt are easy to get regrdless. I got all of them in about 6 games total.
Just imagine your on lookout duty in very haunted house. Things move. Things appear and disapear. Reality warps. Ghosts pop in and out. If your a fan of the weird, paranormal or anything to do with the SCP Foundation give this a shot.
Idk why, but after playing Observation Duty 6, I had an itch to play all of them. So here's my take on the first.
It's a really great proof of concept. OD1 shows you exactly what Notovia was capable of when they initially built this series. It's a test of ideas and concepts that were later worked on and perfected to give us what we have now with 7. The lack of color and the more simplified spaces make it both harder and easier to notice anomalies. The total amount can be pretty easily memorized if you play the maps enough times. The maps themselves being very fun and distinct from one another despite similarities in their anomalies.
OD1 has a ton of rough spots, which is expected for a first time game. There is a lack of QoL here. Some anomalies have specific conditions to report that aren't super easily understandable. These include objects that appear like intruders, but are actually extra objects. Distortions that look like camera malfunctions. Things happening in other rooms of a map but are only visible from a different room. These along with anomalies that can kinda break the rules make this title frustrating at times. I was at 5:40 on the new house map when I was instant killed by the businessman intruder because he killed me before I could even pull up the report page. Him and a couple other intruders/anomalies require you to quickly move away from their cameras, but this isn't communicated in any way besides trial and error. That can make those losses frustrating, especially when you're just learning the map. Reports also take a long time to file, but it's not the biggest issue in the world.
If you like the series or even just want to play a fun game of spot the difference, then this game is for you.
Utterly nervewracking. Loved it.
