Mow Problem features a familiar block programming style interface used to guide a variety of garden shearers and electric mowers around a series of intricate lawns. Compete with other player's leaderboard scores to create the most efficient mowing programs, unlock the seasons throughout the year... and maybe even find a secret hidden in the shed or two!
Mow Problem will challenge your thought and programming skills while soothing music and gentle sound effects immerse you in a series of country gardens. Completing all the lawns will unlock the built in lawn editor, so you can see how many of your friends can master your mower! Extra modes will also become available such as Time Attack, or Rainbow mode, each with their own set of leaderboards.

This is actually two games - the puzzler and also, a graphically delightful and charming 3d/2d overhead maze adventure/puzzler. The maze game is not that long but combined with the puzzler it's a steal at such a cheap price.
I enjoyed both games thoroughly. BTW... it works perfectly with Proton 8 on desktop Linux and the Deck.
A competent and innovative puzzler which combines, er, mowing lawns with basic Scratch-type coding blocks to achieve maximum efficiency. The concept is one I can't believe EA haven't picked up on yet! :) It is captivating good fun and compulsive though, and a cracking casual mind-teaser while you watch I'm a Celebrity with the missus. The initially simple looking looks belie some lovely graphical touches and developer care.
But wait....
Somehow missing from the game description (presumably added later) is a bonus story mode, tangentially related to the main game but a completely different cup of tea, a genre-mashing top-down adventure including maze solving, platforming, side missions and a bit of lawn-mower action. It's a total departure from the main game and similarly (purposefully) low-fi / retro but it was for me incredibly cosy and pleasing.
If you cant spare dollarfiddy on essentially two fun and relaxing games that's up to you, but I recommend

From the developers of Castle Clamber comes the new game, Mow Problem. Mow Problem is a bland and poorly-made game made by Trederia. Your goal is to solve uninteresting puzzle after uninteresting puzzle.
The graphics are tedious and hideous. Overly-complicated and boring are only one of many ways to describe the gameplay. The color scheme is atrocious. It might have taken two minutes to create this game. A third-party company named "Xygine" powers this game. There is a game almost identical to this game named RoboMower, whose code you can find here: https://github.com/fallahn/RoboMower.
There's nothing unique about this game. The soundtrack is average, however, the sound effects are ghastly. The opening introduction is just appalling, and if you get the game (which you should not), I suggest turning down your volume.
Mow Problem is a horribly designed puzzle game not worth noting. The game was released too early into development and as a result, is an uninspiring piece of code. The controls are odd and the tutorial is disconcerting. The game is definitely not worth the money, however small it is.
This game is worth it. A pretty unique mechanic to use a rudimentary programming interface to control the most efficient path to mow a lawn. The game is challenging enough to get you through the various levels, and quite easy to pick up thanks to the interactive tutorial.
The object is path efficiency and getting the highest score, which is displayed through leaderboards. You use a bunch of buttons to program your mower to go a certain direction, or to turn the motor on or off.
The lawn mower with an electrical lead provides a welcome added difficulty where you have to think about when to turn on the motor.
I also think the author is hoping for user generated content with the level editor, and a having friend groups competing against each other to beat authors of user generated levels. Since the number of levels are a bit lacking, I would very much welcome more content made by players.
If you can see past the programmer graphics, you'll find Mow Problem a very rewarding game.

* Game mechanics are pretty solid, after a few minutes you get what to do (protip: use the tape measure).
* Nice soundtrack.
* Gradual difficulty.
* Tutorial blends in with the other levels.
* Overall fun and relaxing to play.
Con's
=====
* Text "Biggest rival" pops up way too much.
* The colouring scheme makes things a bit confusing at first.
* No "Menu" button or hint text in game for people who haven't discovered the [Esc] button yet (it's in the top left corner of your keyboard).
