Like alot of others say, the game lacks content, the game is promising but for stay away from it, better to wait and see what it becomes. Liked my 50 minutes though, but due to lack of content refunded.
if you LOVE gore this is the game it is SUPER gory you can oblitarate peoples faces open with a shotgun i have played this game for 4 hours and i didnt get bored

This game is so realistic with the new update i had a horrible nightmare where i was the crackhead being shot at. Other than that great game, pls add machete which you can chop limbs with or atleast more guns like a revolver, desert eagle, a machine gun, flash bang, grenade and also add new enemys, they are all kinda the same just different accsesories, mak so you can choose what they are wearing weapon wise or armour. P.S great game
decided to refund, but i think it was still an enjoyable game. i will be repurchasing when the game fully releases as currently i feel it is lacking in firearms and the npc behaviours, but when expanded upon can become a nice game.

The game is overall pretty solid, but there’s room for improvement. The gun mechanics, in particular, could use some refinement. The reloading system feels a bit clunky (the magazine doesn’t go in half the time, and grabbing a magazine doesn’t always work either) and would benefit from being more intuitive, perhaps resembling Pavlov's gun system. Adding a disarming feature would enhance the game-play—currently, shooting or hitting an enemy’s hand doesn’t make them drop their weapon unless they’re dead. The stabbing mechanics could also use some work, as they feel janky at times. Despite these issues, it’s a great game, and I’m excited to see how it evolves in the future.
i understand that the game is early access, but i wouldn't recommend buying it at the price it is now. game is OK and shows potential but not nearly ready for play in my opinion.

this game is very great i wish the ai was better and it had multiplayer
don't get me wrong it can lag my VR, but its so much fun and a total time waster to just get your self lost in absolute chaos
Blade and sorcery but when you brutalise some one you really question your humanity and why any body who claims to be normal would play such a game

Great game to ''Kill'' some time. I've never played a more captivating VR game since custom matches Pavlov VR.
Back when raids were still open the game was scary to a degree and had a purpose. but with the new update to trial the new stuff, I wish raids were still open with the old AI. Overall, I recommend for people to buy this game and try it out.
Points: best pistol play in VR games to date. Realistic enemies who duck and dive to cover to fire back to you in buildings. NVG and headlamp mode was a plus. knives can slice enemies and make cuts.
cons: shotgun racking has been broken since day 1. walk speed slow. enemies prefire hard.

I will say. This game has a TON of potential, but I have to say its not worth the 20.
HOWEVER, that is merely cause the steam winter sale is going on and my money is stretched thin. If I had the 20$ spare and more on the way? This would be a permanent staple of my VR collection.
The devs show next to no restraint when it comes to it, and I love it. Its a game where you get to live out those intrusive thoughts in the back of your mind, pretty much all that needs said.
It's alright, I recommend not using airplay as it doesn't function well, I refunded it because I couldn't use airplay with it without it freezing every 10 seconds or being very low quality, I feel with the right specs it could easily enjoyable, gore is very indepth, wish the melee was more responsive, like blood from stab wounds, or larger bruises, it's a good game to come back to every once in a while. not too much dedication needed for it, unless you want to practice aim or fighting in general. Overall great game, just feel I had a bad experience.
i have only played the game for no more than 2 hours, i think there is plenty of gore and torture methods and i think this game is amazing. I think this game has a lot of potential and cant wait for the full release my favourite thing about this game is to regain lost health just become a chain smoker(smoking something other than tobacco) this game really is great.
As of this writing the experimental version still won't start, returning an error about "missing executable".

Eh thought it be cool wave shooter but honestly this is just a murder simulator at the end of the day not in my taste hopefully it get's better meaning down the line but seeing how long this has been out i doubt it.
Game is fun but after an hour it gets boring and then your not gonna touch this game again i dont recommend buying thid game
After numerous mixed opinions, I decided to test the game for myself. I gave it a try, thinking it would be fun and that people were just overreacting. I've played a little bit now, and right after joining, the game felt bad. However, I kept my opinion open and told myself that maybe it wasn’t just the game. Unfortunately, there isn’t much to do in it. The combat feels bad, and the weapons are also pretty disappointing. It just isn’t for me. Feel free to test the game for yourself—I’ll be refunding it. But that doesn’t mean you’ll feel the same; you might just love it.
not a bad game but in my opinion dont waste your money on this if you have any other sanbbox shooter its fun for a while but i just recomend dont buy if you alr have games like this and the updates are slow but if you want this game thats fine this is only a opinion

this game is pretty good ive enjoyed the game so far but the game does not have much to do other than raids and sandbox and you might see a bug or two the game-play is fun at first but get kinda boring after a bit the game is good tho but as of now this game need more stuff to do and we need more weapons and maybe some armor units to fight might be fun to fight and would give the blunt melee another purpose other than smashing head in (not likes that's a bad thing) and am really hoping we will be able to break there bones in the future - tldr very good game, lacking in some aspects but worth the purchase overall 11/10

This game is really good IF you play on the experimental beta. If you play the original release game, it is very buggy. A lot of bugs are fixed in the experimental beta.
i love this game if you got pent up anger one thing i would like to see is more guns and melee weapons like cuting people in half and other was like metal gear rishing or whatever
enable experimental mode for the best experience with the gore engine.
really good game, great visuals and the gore engine really sells the game, it has a story mode that is coming in a future update, the developers try to keep in touch with the community as best they can.
from what I gathered it is a 2 man developer team. (Source: Reddit post from one of the developers themselves) so the fact the game looks and plays this good is really a big deal.
if you want a bit more melee weapon variety go to "White Noise" map in sandbox on experimental mode
in experimental mode, the weapon animations for the shotgun and other weapons are a lot better, one of the pistols has a silencer that doesn't show up in the base game.
Overall a 10/10 from me, it scratched every itch I had with VR and Physics, Gore and what you can accomplish in the game is the most fun I have had in my entire year on VR.
Please add to quest store I don’t play steam anymore because they allowed a scammer to take 20k worth of tf2 items out of my inventory even when I had steam guard so I only play meta quest 3 please add
Blood Trail is very unique and its level of gore is unmatched in the VR industry, while the game isn't fully baked, it has a lot of potential. I cannot wait for them to enhance and hopefully release the full game soon. I need to be admitted for enjoying this game for as much as I have.
Dont listen to the other reviews and ive had this game for a while now and i only play whenever im feeling that itch. i would always look up a video before i buy something not sure why the negative reviewers didn't.... this game is being developed by 1 guy you buying this game to support him and the progress of the full game and it will def cost more. I really recommend this game if you got spare coins and don't mind a game you'll be playing time to time and not everyday
Epik Gore Epik Game Epik Graphics Epik Human's [NPC's]
I use the original HTC Vive. For it, it was difficult for me to access the menu on the wrist. I kept smacking my controls into each other and it wouldn't even reach the menu button. I had to turn it upside down to access it. Also, call me picky, but the controls lack any sort of customization besides the Grip Mode, which is called "Sticky Grip" instead of being labeled "Hold/Toggle", and it's also placed in an unusual location. My hands get stuck in the gun frequently, specifically the Vector when I go to chamber. I'm a lefty but I like moving with the same hand, no locomotion options for that. When selecting a level, I selected the first level for Survival, and it put me in some testing ground, not the same map I selected before "interacting" with the door handle (grazing it with my fingers as opposed to grabbing it). Needs some more play-testing with the environments as opposed to the enemies, which is basically why my score for this game isn't a 1, and way more customization/locomotion options. For a $19.99 game, I expected more in the controls. Needs improvement. 4/10 for me.
This game gives VR in general, a bad name, honestly it's amateur hour here from the UI design to just the main gameplay, it feels lacking in every aspect, feels like a game dev students first project in school not a fully fledged Alpha even for a 1.0, would not recommend at all in it's current state.
The game is awesome, its fun to burn time on and overall enjoy very pleasing to beat skulls with a hammer

The only content of this game you will find on youtube is about how gory it is.
There is 0 substance. And I assume the game has been largely abbandoned too. Sure theres the odd update here and there but in over a year nothing really changed.
This "game" is ultimately just a brutality simulator. The content (if it can even be called that) is extremely shallow and vapid, the weapons and controls are janky, there's nothing to do except watch simulated dying and death. To be totally clear, there is no real game here, there is nothing you're going to get out of this product except watching NPCs react to various means of being killed. This is a creatively bankrupt product and developer, an absolute waste of your time and money.
this could be really educational. It's the perfect way to practice becoming a serial killer!

Love what we are starting with but still very early. I was able to see most of what the game has to offer in less then a hour. Once campaign is added it will definitely add more meat to the game.
On the experimental branch it's like a different game. Probably my favorite VR shooting game. Warning though it's pretty graphic so if that bothers you I would probably go with a different game.
This game is brutal. But as long as you can handle it it should be fine. And know whats real is not, have fun

The most real looking, horrifying game I have every played. It may not be a full game but it is a great way to blow off steam. The gore is like nothing I have seen before
Not much too it really just sandbox and missions which you can't see anything since they are pitch black not worth $20 it would be worth $10 or lower
Its a fun game, graphics are great and the experimental version is fun af (minus the few missing maps) however there are some things you should know. It gets repetitive, killing the same people in different outfits over and over with the same voicelines, some of the maps are small so you won't have a lot of room for exploration, and the weapons are all the same with some being a little janky. Personally I'm not one to mind and I play this game in short bursts a few times a week. It's great for that. If you're looking for a game like this with more content then try out hard bullet. The characters are more cartoony looking and the gore is slightly less intense but it has more weapons, maps, and modes. I rate this game a 6/10 (Still good, though)
The non experimental version runs perfectly fine, though it can be a bit laggy and the audio can mess up a bit, but that's probably on my end since I don't use wired connection and I'm using a Quest 2 and not a Quest 3. Overall its good for relieving stress. Hopefully the update will release soon to practically perfect it.
