I enjoy the simplicity of this game and can't wait to get house flipper 2 when it goes on sale. I do think that there is a disconnect between the DLC content and the original content, but it is still overwhelmingly positive review.

I Really love this game always something new and very satisfying to design and flip houses. Glad they have a option to rent the houses out hours of fun in this game hope that they keep making more for this game and the house fliper 2 game too.
Very relaxing and fun game with a lot to do, including buying houses and customizing them however you want. 7/10.
Love the game but they really need to sort out the issue with the game not saving correctly. I'm having to manually copy files from the back up folder and place it in the necessary folder, even though both both folders are in the same place, the %appdata folde, where the game was installed. I know there's a House Flipper2 but from the reviews I've read, the same problem exists!
This game is really good. It's soo satisfying to clean the house. And it worth it every cent.

The only thing I didn't like is that achievements didn't get added with each DLC but were there right from the beginning, which feels like they want to make us buy the DLCs desperately (others games don't do that, never had it happen to me before. Usually I can get 100% without buying the DLCs and they just ADD achievements, not unlock them)
Anyway, much ranting, but the game still was a lot of fun! Really recommend it
I'm addicted to this game. Was when it first came out too, but there's a lot more stuff in it now, just like The Sims. Hope 2 ends up being this way someday too.
I have installed a device such as "sink and shower" but when I try to interact with that device I am told to install the same device again, is this a bug?

I quite literally will never get tired of this game. Relaxing, satisfying, and explores different concepts in creativity.
I also definitely recommend some of the dlc's, adds fun mechanics, new things to play around with and just is a nice new wave of content to keep things overall interesting and engaging.
A few bugs here and there but nothing a quick restart can fix
This has easily become one of my favorite games. It's so satisfying while allowing you to be as creative and thoughtless in the gameplay as you would like. Each DLC adds something unique to the game and makes it that much more enjoyable. I can say that if you want a satisfying game that you can continue to play for hours on end and still get satisfaction from this is the game for you.
I really love playing this game! I have the whole package (all DLC's) and love the diversity. The only thing I dislike is being unable to restore the furniture in the houses purchased to flip in the Luxury Flipper DLC. I end up having to sell the items because they look terrible. I would love to restore them!

There is so much to do in this game, even after the initial story is complete. Add 9+ DLC options, and you can play this game for a very long time.

Hear me out devs, there are lots of houses that dont have the entrance on the ground but a couple of stairs up (old mansions and castles. wouldnt it be great to have those at our disposal for building???
I'm 8 hours in and I am already enjoying this chill little house flipper game. There are so many items to decorate with and endless jobs especially if you grab this game on discount along with DLC's. Definitely recommend for under $12
The game is buggy as hell. The first few minor ones I was able to work around but now the game is crashing and won't even start. I've purchased lots of games on Steam and never had this issue before. Avoid
Over 200 Hours spent on this game with my lovely mother, your recent bugs causing players offices' to reset and the recent bug causing the game to crash has made this game unplayable, and therefore liable to suit... class action mother fucka... FIX THE GAME.
I love all the options you get to design each house, and how each job has no set way to complete it, just as long as you do as they request.
I absolutely love this game! It’s like digital interior design therapy. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking a trashed property and transforming it into a beautiful home. The game lets me unleash my creativity without real-world renovation stress.

It's a fun game and I'm glad to see the team still supporting it, even after the release of the sequel. House Flipper 2 is better in my opinion, but I really enjoyed this earlier version as well

I initially started House Flipper with a lot of excitement, and I must say, I really enjoyed it. Despite typically leaning toward thriller, action, and horror games, I found this one to be a surprisingly relaxing escape after long days of university and work. The gameplay is simple, easy to grasp, and offers a variety of tasks and house-flipping options that kept me engaged for hours. In fact, I spent about 18 hours in the game.
The base game provides a decent selection of options for house renovation and decoration, and I appreciated the variety of challenges. However, there are some technical issues that slightly hinder the experience. I encountered a few bugs, such as tiles failing to load correctly when changing colors or when placing them on the wall. It's a minor annoyance, but it does detract from the overall immersion.
Another issue that stood out was the game's save system. Despite my computer being brand new with plenty of available storage, House Flipper randomly crashed and lost my progress multiple times. The first time, I lost my entire profile, and when I tried again, the game randomly started a new session and erased my new progress. It’s frustrating, especially after sinking so many hours into it, and it’s surprising that this issue hasn't been addressed considering the release of a new game by the developers. While no game is perfect, these problems really need attention.
Despite the technical glitches and save issues, I still found House Flipper to be enjoyable. It’s a great game for unwinding, and I would recommend it to those looking for a chill experience with a bit of creativity. Hopefully, the developers will address these bugs in future updates, as there’s a lot of potential in the game.
I love this game I really do but it isn't very good accessibility wise. I have horrible joint pain making holding down a key for long period of time nearly impossible and well. That's what a lot of this game is. In similar games there's been a "switch" option where you can switch the tool on and off. I really wish this game had that, maybe if it did I would be able to play more then 15 minutes a day.
It's like the sims, but you don't have to worry about taking care of people and just get to bask in interior design greatness. I like most of the cleaning mechanics, though the window cleaning can be a bit of a pain. The installation mechanic is pretty unique, and sets it aside from other interior design games. It would be awesome if the paint offered test palettes or swatches as an option, so that you could compare different colors in the actual in game lighting. Over all I find the game highly addictive and fun, and I'll probably get a bunch of the DLC.
this game is simple yet engaging. the game offers a progression system, allowing you to upgrade tools and skills as you complete jobs and flip properties. These upgrades make tasks faster and more efficient, which is satisfying as you see your productivity improve over time. visually speaking, the game is clean and functional. the graphics won't win awards for realism, but they are detailed enough to make transformations feel rewarding. watching a house evolve from a cluttered mess, to a polished and cute space is what i enjoy about the game. the customisation is a highlight with a wide variety of furniture, paint colours and decor options.
The game is ok. The only issue im running with is that some installations are indicating in the map that are missing while the installations have been done prior.
It looks like developers are not going to repair the broken game. They are busy with developing the second game in the series.
I would like to ask for refund due to such disrespect to people who purchased the game, but unfortunately Steam will not allow the refund.

was really enjoying this game, it's relaxing and therapeutic. but the office that i've designed, which took me 4-5 hours to make it look awesome and natural, just randomly reset to the original trashy state. do you know how frustrating it was? i thought it only happened to the first office, so i moved to a new office and again spent 4-5 hours decorating it. then after finishing a job and when i wanted to "go back to office", it loads with my laptop on my hand and back to the trash place. so, no, i won't recommend this game unless this is fixed.
Loved this game at first. Had over 75 hours in. But now my office keeps resetting. I clear it and redesign it and then when I go back to it, it is back to the original building. I spend too much in game money to keep losing it all. There are other quirks of the game that I don't like (ex. Some store options are only available if searched. There is no way to just stumble upon them in the store) but I overlooked them. Now, I just feel like it was a waste of money to buy it.
Interface is clunky, and my home base shack gets reset to the original nasty setup full of trash every single time I successfully sell a house. UGH
Spent a lot of my time on my office only for it to reset, you make money, do work, and auction houses to buy stuff for your office, so having it reset to the beginning with no way to return it is disheartening. Like, it's one of the main things of the game.
With the discount the game is almost free which makes it very affordable. The game is very interesting to play, but one thing is that they won't give you all instruments from the start. First, you have to deserve them by working with your bare hands. The game is pretty relaxing, I like it. Recommended.

Yes, I recommend the game because I absolutely love it. I will say I am highly depressed though that once I bought a new property to sell ALL of my progress was deleted. I even want back to an old save file and tried to get it back and it was still TOO LATE. Although it is upsetting I guess I can see it as a positive to start fresh. I do hate I spent 2 days and probably up to 20+ hours just making my office, but it is what it is.. I guess. Time to start new and pray it does not happen again...
Really annoyed my office gets reset when I renovate and sell a different house. Hours of work just gone. Very stupid and is the reason I dont want to play anymore and wont be purchasing any DLC.
Well... It was fun for the first 7 hours, BUT then I encountered a MASSIVE BUG: Suddenly when I moved back to my office I realized that the game just lost all saved data for this scene. Office is back to it's original messy state. Every piece of furniture gone. freshly painted walls and tiled floors? gone. Garden? An absolute mess again. At this point I really don't feel like playing anymore. Would not recommend to buy until they fix this.
Also I must say that the gameplay gets repetitive rather quickly. I already don't feel like doing the quests anymore. Buying and upgrading houses is way more fun for me. I bought the game with a massive discount for 2,45€. Given the mentioned bug and how fast this gets boring I personally would not recommend to pay the full price.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BUGGED GAME. This game has so many bugs that makes it unplayable. It constantly tells you you have a save error and will reset your main office. I spent hours and in game money repairing my office just to have it completely reset everything. I even started a new game and it happened again. It sucks because this game is so fun, but not if it keeps erasing everything you accomplish. There are hundreds of reviews with users having the same issues, and instead of fixing the problem, this company continues to push out new DLCs for a broken game. The video game industry is nothing but money hungry animals now.
it was great before but after the update the fucking saves arent working? the houses i renovate just go back to the trash they where before...
I started playing house flipper, after a couple missions I decided to clean and renovate my only house (the starting office) and once I fixed it up I did a couple more missions and everything was fine then I logged off. I got back on later and it was the way I left it, I bought a second home to flip and sell, once I finished that house and sold it my starting office got reset and I lost all the work I did to it. wtf
The game was fine for the first few hours, but then the auto-save started erroring out and losing an hour or more work each time. Between that and the cookie-cutter housing layouts, I decided I was done wasting my time and uninstalled.
I got it during a Steam sale, so I didn't really lose anything except the time, but there are much better fix-it-up simulator games out there. I'll be catching up on Powerwash Simulator Bonus maps (read: FREE DLC!) instead.
