It's really fun to those who wish to become an interior designer when they grow up. I for one, am one of those people. This helps me get practice in young. Have fun if you decide to purchase this delight!
I really enjoy this game, especially now there are a lot of new items following the dLC, maybe like accessories on the makeup table, kitchen spices, toiletries, more variations can be added so that they can be more lively and give the impression of being real. For me i luvvv soooo much this game and I would recommend this game to my close friends and people who like casual and simulation games
I love this game. It's just a mindless game with a splash of creativity. Great to unwind with.
Very relaxing, creative and fun.
Very fun and chill game. It's really satisfying and overall just makes me feel really at peace. The dlcs are also really good and it's overall one of the best games non shooter games I've played
Love this game. Just a suggestion for the new Dine out DLC. Give an option to sell it as a restaurant or cafe. It gives an option when rent out to choose what you want to rent it out as (cafe, restaurant or house) but not when you buy, renovate and sell. Giving very low profit, and upset clients.
its fun game but, the feeling of not being alone is quite prominiate. whenever i play this game i almost always feel a sense of paranioa due (besides the music of course) to how quiet it is . if i do get the second game i hope i'll get to see npcs and a little more sound.
Amazing game, aged really well and very relaxing! I would (and have) recommended it to a lot of people <3
Like a lot of these simulator-type games, the core actions don't feel satisfying - you just click and watch trash magically disappear, or hold down the mouse to darken a strip of wall with paint. If you want cleaning that feels great, play PowerWash Simulator. If you want satisfying destruction, play Teardown. And if you want to arrange furniture and decorate rooms, play something like The Sims.
Devs are pretty upfront about the spyware, which I guess is nice, but the game is a bit too basic of an experience for me to say it's worth that AND the pricepoint (68 USD for game + all DLC at time of review), so I can't say I recommend it.
It gives the same vibes as playing with LEGO bricks as a kid, but instead of making janky ass houses, I can just buy one and fill it with Drake & Josh posters.
They robbed me of my 100% completion several times by releasing new DLCs. Purge the DLC-related achievements and I might take down this review. I'm not going to reward this insidious business practise of screwing over achievement hunters in particular. You know exactly what you're doing. This shit should be illegal in the first place.
Quickly became one of my favorite games to unwind too, a lot of the process of doing tasks around the client's homes are pretty immersive and there's plenty of interaction. I haven't become bored with any of the times I've had to install appliances... I also appreciate the ability of remodeling and refurnishing houses you can buy and sell. Love this game
I'm very disappointed in the direction they chose for voice acting.
This game doesn't need voice acting. It really doesn't. I don't understand why they went with AI of all things. It not only ruins my immersion, but it makes me question what else in the game was AI generated. That's not good. I can only hope they compensated the people they're using the voices of (though I highly doubt it).
The game is fun, no doubt, but I can't recommend it based on it's usage of generative AI.
This game makes me feel great about the house chores I've neglected for the past month. It's the chores minus the "c" for how cranky I feel after. If I could give 10 stars I would.
I love the game and find it very relaxing to play after a long day or during a high stress day. I will say getting some of the DLC is worth it. I just purchased two of them and love how it changes the games and adds things that you can do. 10\10 would totally play it if you are into things like the sims and like all the house decor part. It is fun and totally think that people would looooove it
Weirdly good. I like the cleaning, building, and painting aspects. I don't like tiling and struggle with the tablet interface (wish there was a favourites button, and search doesn't work well on steam deck). My least favourite thing is placing furniture/cabinets.
Garden dlc has good plants and a weird number of oddly specific sub species. Images are not great, but good enough I can ID some of the weeds.
Luxury dlc would be better if you were scored on how closely you matched aesthetic or something similar.
I think it's so much fun to go through and clean up and flip houses. It's fun to do the jobs and it's also fun to buy houses and design them the way you want.
Great game, over 200 hours of gameplay if you fro 100%
Some bugs here and there, a few crashes, but overall a great simulator game. Glad to add it to my 100% collection!
Now, onto the 2nd game
very fun game and its very easy to get lost in time because of how relaxing this game is to just sit back and play
This game is fantastic! The developers are still adding even with House Flipper 2 out. I have so much respect for the creators. Game play is fantastic, the variety of items is fantastic. They listen to their players and put so much into it. I also love the workshop, giving players the ability to acquire more specific items.
This game is so addictive, some DLC bits can be kind of buggy - mainly when interacting with animals - and sometimes the controls feel way oversensitive, but the amount of variation in the game more than makes up for it! you really feel like you're progressing and building towards something as you complete individual tasks or buy and flip houses. Love it.
Been playing this game a while now, total of 90 hrs played. Love designing so this game is great especially since you can image/make your dream house or even just practice designing, since that is the career I believe I'll be headed toward. Overall GREAT GAME!!
I played house flipper for a bit now, and I have to say its a pretty cool game to play sometimes. The Jobs can take from 5 minutes up to even an hour, and the game can be a bit grindy at first.
If you mange to get some money, you can buy your own houses and renovate them however you want and sell them. This gives the game a bit of an sandbox feeling, but you need to play about 10-20h to get enough money to make cool houses.
Over all I would give the game a solid 7/10.
i liked it but then they removed the option to have zombie hands. like what was the point of that? i had so much fun being a zombie running around painting stuff and now im just a regular joe. i would recommend but i really loved the zombie hands.
Game won't let me play on anything higher than 1080p even though i'm running it on a 1440p monitor, and i can't find any fixes. Refunded
I could sit down and play this game for hours. I HAVE sat down and played this game for hours. There's something so relaxing about getting to sit down and just get to fix up messed up houses. I'm not the biggest fan of having to buy DLCs for more content but its genuinely worth it to buy one or two of them, they're so incredibly worth it for this amazing game.
generally a good game about cleaning, renovating and decorating homes. keeps me entertained. great that you can purchase and install any furniture without following a fixed layout. but can be improved - several bugs regarding camera angle, and percentage of tasks completed. i find it impossible to always be exiting the game just to fix one minor bug. kills the enjoyment. would be great if there is an option to adjust the sensitivity rate as well.
After 995 hours in the game, I can confidently say, THIS is a great game! Once they added "Dine Out" I became even more addicted to this game. The addition of renting out homes is also really fun. I've been able to rent out long enough to recover any costs incurred, then sell it to 'double dip'. Great game to just chill, relax and create endless homes, cafes, and restaurants.
Chill game. I love taking my time and making things just the way I like. There's so many fun colors and items.
This is super fun. There are, I believe, two free DLC so you have a lot of jobs to do and houses to buy to start with. If that's not enough, there's lots more DLC available to buy. I find the cleaning and decorating very relaxing and most of the controls are easy to understand. There's even fun surprises in some of the houses to buy! Some of the settings are very considerate also, like you can turn off cockroaches if they scare you. I do wish the achievements were easier to decipher; some of them make no sense. But truly I highly recommend this fun game with no bugs and lots of content.
I love playing this game with the tasks and ability to change. It does lag a bit and sometimes it is hard to get to start but I will keep playing!
Great game, especially with a dedicated update for pools, something they just taken away in house flipper 2, a shame
A fun and relaxing game. The only downside is that there aren't enough furniture options.
Relaxing, graphics are decent, challenges are fun.
its a good game, good grapics, well made, BUT. i personally think it takes very long to make any good progression, i can see people liking that, but i myself dont.
this would be a good game if u have alot of time to kill!!
I got this game because a friend recommended it to me and i enjoyed it. although it can get a little repetitive, i'd imagine some would find it relaxing and a game that you dont have to do a whole lot of focusing and thinking to play :)
A fun game to turn your brain off to. Controls are easy and there are tons of decorating options, DLCs are definitely worth adding on!
I honestly only have this many hours in this game because it irks me to have a game sit with such a low amount of achievements done. Literally just because of my compulsion to make numbers go up.
The assets in the game are often basic, ugly, or both. The colour options in this game are often hideous, and a lot of the woods don't match on enough pieces of furniture. There isn't enough furniture. A lot of it is pointless in terms of them game outside of satisfying an aesthetic need of the player. So houses you can sell in this game can stay unchanged and resold immediately anyway. Some of the tasks are downright tedious. The fact that it became popular is beyond me, in all honesty.
I hated the laziness of this game so much that I hit ignore on the developer.
It may sound like hyperbole but genuinely this game's assets are mostly so ugly and unvaried that it feels like a crime against good taste.
This really feeds my desire to make things. Honestly not trying to hake loads of money in game, but it seems I'm quite successful, lol Also, I can exercise concepts of designs and practicality along with doing a little bit of Feng Shui. There's also some elements of puzzle solving, which is fun, but can cut into profit if you are not looking out for it.
really good game. it’s nice and chill and really satisfying. i love that you have your own house to customise when you aren’t working on other projects
This game is my happy place! There's just something so calming and satisfying about completing renovations and flipping these houses. One of my favorite games by far. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this one.
Customers are very rude. They see you cleaning and tell you to clean then occasionally tell you to kill yourself. Very realistic.
House Flipper is a game where you work on houses that are either dirty or need remodeling. You clean and improve them to a state where they can be sold to potential clients. The game has two main gameplay loops. One is the quest system, where clients specifically ask to clean or refurbish certain parts of the house. The other is the house flipping system, where you buy an old house and improve upon it completely of your own initiative, trying to appeal to the tastes of potential buyers.
I personally like the questing system a lot more than the house flipping, maybe because I wasn't really looking for a creative experience, I mostly wanted to follow goals, but that's a question of preference. Overall, this is definitely the kind of game that you just play to relax. It gets very satisfying to see a house turn from dirty and broken to neat and clean. If you're playing this more for the gameplay, you might be a bit disappointed on how repetitive it gets. I know that there are a lot of new cleaning systems and different types of furniture in the DLCs, but from what I can tell, this small twist in gameplay is not really worth the price of these content packs. Generally, I recommend this game if you want a relaxing and satisfying game to play casually, but I would not recommend it if you're gameplay and completion-focused.
I thought I would like this game a lot more than I did. It seems like you have so many options for furniture when you start out, but after a few hours you realize you don't. The UI is clunky when it comes to navigating the furniture selection, and so I got frustrated quickly when trying to find specific items. There's also a lot of default textures used in the base houses that aren't actually textures you can apply yourself, so if you fix one part of a wall you end up having to redo the entire room. I just didn't enjoy it that much and will be going back to the Sims for my house building enjoyment.
Amazing gameplay, I can easily spend hours playing and building dream homes that I'll never be able to afford IRL - Housing crisis am I right? - Anyway 100/10 would reccomend
i'm very sorry to the devs for pirating this game two years ago it is a great game and i hope that legally purchasing it now makes up for my piracy :(
Good game that I have been playing over a span of 7 years, lots of customisation and endless options for interior design. The game is a bit buggy and has some issues with achievements popping. I can't speak for the Farm DLC and the Dine Out DLC as I have not purchased them yet, but the others are fun and add enough content per price. Mods should be an integral part of the game at this point though and I am curious as to how it has not been implemented yet? Also, when you are flipping a house you purchased, the UI for things that the potential buyers want is a bit broken. There are some things that don't make grammatical sense or it is hard to know what they mean. Those are minor issues bar the mods thing, but overall a great game.
It is a really great game. If you are into fixing fixing houses and landscaping yards this is the game for you!
Love putting artistic and renovation skills to work. I get that in this game. You have plenty of opportunities to show off what you can do in this game.
