BUILD. SMITE. REPEAT.
Creo God Simulator is a game of city-building, resource management, survival, and a ton of peasant smiting. As the divinely-selected Creostrider, it's your job to build a society bit by bit, while convincing your new population to believe in you as their one true god.
During your time as the Creostrider, you will discover new powers to use and more advanced buildings to place, but beware, as you progress, the randomized events that afflict your town will become more difficult, not to mention that a larger population presents a myriad of engaging challenges to overcome. Can you prove yourself as the new true God, or will you slowly fade from the memory of the people you led?

the game was good in like the 2019 era but it downgraded
i do very much like this game but the plazas border is a bit too small, it would be nice if there was a feature where you can control the border size from 2x big to 2x small to make the game easier or harder, other then that, 9/10 game would highly recommend playing it
when i try to join the discord the game comletly crashed now i cant open it
Sorry, but this game is currently so unbalanced and the controls are to strange that it is just no fun to play at all. Tried it for 90 minutes, then refunded it. I tried many Early Access games in my life but this one was the worst so far.
12/28/2020 - I love the game so far! I've had it for only a day and i'm addicted. It has tons of potential. I recommend.
Creo is a charming God Simulator game, it challenges you right from the start. Managing the limited resources and dealing with babies/elderly who can't work and then an earthquake striking before I build the repair shop... AHHH! I definitely needed to restart a few times before I figured out how fast to expand my city.
The character models have a lot of personality and I enjoy just watching where they wander about to. The developer clearly added a lot to the most recent update with new events, a complete remodel of the games appearance, and more balanced resources.
Overall, it definitely highlights some of the best aspects of the god sim game genre, and the swarm of cats is golden.
This game is in alpha. There is such thing as too early access. Tighten RNG and your beginning of the game. The tutorial is garbage and leaves the new player just guessing at every last thing besides 3 buildings. As stands you have to lose repeatedly to even begin to get a concept of how to start, and that is not an early access game. It's just a lump of code someone wants to try out on people and make money.
I find it to be a refreshing take on the god-sim genere. There aren't a ton of these out there so every new one is welcome. It also is in continuous development which is nice. Too many games that have good bones get thrown aside. I cant wait to see where this game goes in the future!
Gameplay is fun, I love dropping meteors on peasants haha. the dynamic quest system is a welcome addition as well.
for a game that is made by just one guy it sure is well done. Regular updates and a dev that listens and interacts with his players
Really good game. The creator puts a lot of work into it as well as hears peoples opinions and it's very enjoyable.
UPDATE JULY 2021: Yay! He finally fixed the bug! I can actually play! Oh.... new bug..... : Fires start on the map. You can put them out with rain, except when you can't. Watched my altar burn for 5 mins as I used all my faith dousing it in rain, only to have it ignore that and keep burning.
This game wants to function, but it just can't.
UPDATE APRIL 13TH 2020:
Same exact issue, making the game unplayable after the first 30 mins.
UPDATE MARCH 2020:
Pros: Many features added
Cons: THE. GAME-BREAKING. BUG. THAT. STOPS. YOU. FROM. GROWING. YOUR. CITY. STILL. HAS. NOT. BEEN. FIXED.
There is one way to expand your city after you reach a certain point. This point IS NOT deep into the game, it's literally the first time you try to expand your city.
After reading through the discussion page, the dev NOTICED THIS BUG AND COMMENTED ON IT, months ago.
Fix your broken game BEFORE continuing to sell copies. Ugh
It's very close to being playable. Great concept.
Notable Issues for dev:
-Often, you'll accept a quest, complete the task, and the game simply just ignores it. "Build a woodshop. Accept Quest. Builds woodshop. Nothing." As this is one of, if not the only, objective in the game it needs to actually work.
-It sometimes takes 3 to 5 pushes of the "e" key before job slots will open. Other times, they open on the first push.
-I would be so happy if there were an option to snap turn objects. Like, using Q and E to rotate is fine but trying to get an object like a house to stop where you want it is impossible. Or even change the Q and E sensitivity, or make the rotation click based. At this point trying to say, make a row of straight houses, or line up a group of farms in a straight line is almost impossible if you even slight tap Q or E. Crazy Frustrating.
There are only a few things to build/buy right now, and that's totally fine. These things need to work, if charging for this beta.
Thanks!
This game is amazing. The dev is really cool too.
This game has the potential to be a classic. Set in a charming and well-crafted world, I would have thought it was straight out of the 90's! Though the controls were unintuitive, and content limited, these problems vanished after I found the support link available in the main menu. Direct contact with the developers was convenient, and I'm confident that they will work to make this game a masterpiece.
TL:DR
Pros:
-Interesting mechanics
-Classic concept
-Beautiful graphics
-Charming world
-Responsive developers
-Enjoyable
-Good chance of further updates
-Low price ($10 at time of review)
Cons:
-Slow
-Clunky
-Occasionally frustrating to place buildings or roads
-Limited content
Ok, this is just stupid.
All the quests revolve around building buildings or gathering materials that I can't build without spending thousands of inspiration, and I can't gather those up because whenever I have a few hundred, something catches fire in my town or there's a swarm of locusts. Then out of nowhere an earthquake levels 2 of my farms and the shop, which is the only way to gain gold, and I can't build a new shop without gold, or build new farms or complete any quests...
If I'd known that the only way to make any headway was to spend the initial inspiration on technology, maybe I'd have stood a chance, but then I have to ignore the tutorial instructing me to try it out.
I know this is just balancing stuff that's typical of early access, but damn it was annoying.
This game's going to be SO much fun once it's further along. However, the road/building system needs some serious UX TLC. Looking forward to watching the development of this!
it ok but i spend al money so me por nou
I might not have played it for a lot of hours but I am enjoying the game a lot except when I save the game, and when I return to the same village 38 villagers have disappeared, and my temple has disappeared, and my tribute altar has disappeared. And for some reason I have lost all my resources too. I don't know what happened but other than that I am enjoying the game quite a bit. And I know that the save did work cause I built a lumber yard quite a while after building the tribute altar and temple, and the lumber yard is still there.
Its early access so I can forgive the game for that.
Playing god and smiting people who are of a different belief and are said to be evil is quite fun, and watching the town grow and thrive is also very enjoyable.
I hope this gets released fully soon.
It would also be nice to be able to spin the buildings more precise than with the Q and E keys because I am a bit of a perfectionist and need to have everything perfectly in line rather than crooked.
But yeah, that's my review I guess?
Never done this before.
Keep it up creator!
Excellent, responsive developer.
The gameplay is simple city builder stuff with the added angle of faith.
Visuals are nice and relaxing.
There is a natural disaster every minute or so, locusts and earthquakes.
The rest of the game is just waiting for the resources to fill.
Building is free form which is good and bad: good, you can build it any way you want. Bad, making a nicely uniform city is basically impossible and building roads is WAY harder than it needs to be.
This still needs A LOT of work to be good, but it is off to a good start.

This is just a first impression.
Overall it's a great direction.(so please finish this,DEV.) hopefully not the direction just building some sort of economy simulator. The few god power(willpower) is cool yet (early access) hopefully more to come.
(situation 1) In a simulator like simcity it needs to have a lot of tweaking to balance this out,
(situation 2) If there are like (AI) gods I think it's close on how it needs to go. Getting alot of
bonuses quick, fulfilling wishes/prayers. Use faster speed for a more quick
game with other gods.
so in general it's a great attempt for a "god" game!
some pro's :
+ graphics acceptable(also in con's section) it's not done(I know, it's ea. and so far
great!)
+(+) AI, working great. I know things can be different but it follows it's paths. and that's
not that easy when they seem not to have much believe in you!!(the fear/evil tactics I
didn't try yet)
+ the foundations are there. not done but it's there!!.
+ a lot of potential.(directions to go. and hope personally for the most unexpected yet
expected way :P)
+ no real game break bugs so far.(couple of hours and restarts included)
+ sound/ (mostly) music is great(yet ea could be more diverse)
+ the wife loves it!(so far ;) )
the con's :
- steep price compared(yet an amazing job and ea investment stuff) to the content and time spend.
- the building/ perhaps GUI needs some rethinking.
it's not bad and it's understandable, but keyboard shortcuts or an easier GUI will
make so less stress full.
-(-) Camera rotation! it needs to be way more smoother and faster. (takes away
control)
- the graphic's, as stated a little with the pro's. just having the not done(yes, yes ea)
feeling. That's all.
so in all am afraid I can not recommend this(that's why I am) as there is much yet to be done
compared with the price. but then again it's a great start and this should be a full god
(game) experience!
