I found this a fun addition, with quite a few new properties to fix up. In these, you get a bit more of a scene set than in the main game, with a short animation before each job. Then you are told what to do in each room, like the set jobs in the main game, but this covers every room in the house instead of just one or two. Like with the main game jobs, once a job is complete the house is then available to buy in its original state if you want to do a completely freestyle flip.
In at least one room in each house, you are given a range of options to chose from for each item, rather than being given a set choice, and the client gives you a 'mood board' to help you pick according to their tastes. So you might be given six chairs to chose from, eight floor coverings, etc. This feels rather pointless, though, as your choice has no effect on anything. As in the main game, your client gives no feedback, of any kind, so the concept of a mood board doesn't really go anywhere, which is frustrating.
This expansion introduces the ability to renovate or refurbish certain pieces of furniture, which I really liked. You have to sand down each part of the item, then re-varnish or paint it - very satisfying and it looks great!
Overall, I'd recommend it, but suggest you wait for a deal to buy.
1/4 of contracts will just be unnecessary clicking and holding click to assemble parts you have done 1 million times before. again. and again. and againg and againnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

This DLC is pretty good. It adds more houses and jobs, more items, and I love the refurbishing minigame. However, beyond the bugs, my biggest critique of this DLC is that the description they give on the store page made me think I would be able to refurbish ANY piece of furniture or at least a fair bit of them, but you can ONLY refurbish specific pieces of furniture in specific jobs. You can't even refurbish the same pieces of furniture if you buy the house yourself after finishing the job. I think it would be really cool and interesting to allow the player to refurbish a fair amount of the base-game furniture, especially the classic-style or old-looking stuff that could reasonably be considered antique or possibly have some sort of sentimental value or something like that. It should be a mechanic that you can upgrade like everything else!
The devs apparently thought it was too much work to finish their already existing game and instead moved on to HF2. Therefore this DLC is completely unusable. Buggiest pile of shit that has ever been made. DONT waste your money.
the luxury dlc for house flipper is a lot of fun! the houses are significantly larger, giving you a lot more to design. as well, you get numerous options for a specific aesthetic, so you can still have a decent amount of choice while still fulfilling the wants of your customers. the game comes with tons of new furniture options, as well as the ability to renovate damaged furniture. you also get a guided tour about the house youre renovating, which is fully voice acted!
the luxury dlc provides a lot of content to the base game, and its worth buying if you wanted a lot more options in the base game
100%ing this DLC makes me hate the rich even more
This DLC is fun but for some reason I feel like the jobs get kind of repetitive, idk. I really love the furniture added though.
