Yeah so this game is pretty much useless, I wouldn't bother with it.
Save your $1 for a cheap coffee or a pack of gum.
There are free flash games that are 1000x better than this.
I beat the game in 8 minutes, the graphics are from 1978.
I don't remember playing this game. But my achievements are completed. So it must be a forgettable game.
This may surprise you, dear reader, but as The Horror Network I've played a ton of horror games. I've totally run the gamut on most of the well-known titles, and this is why I often take for-better-or-worse blind dives on indie games. In doing so, I always make my way to three general outcomes; being pleasantly surprised to find a hidden gem which I get eager to share with my community, strolling down acceptable-yet-mediocre lane, or finding myself severely disappointed in ways I never thought possible. Your Home managed to send me into the latter realm of immense dissatisfaction, and I imagine even the average horror enthusiast would find even the paltry price tag of $1 too much for this effortless cash grab.
Yes, this is yet another Russian scam game from a developer/publisher who pump out garbage, surprise surprise. Your Home is a 15-minute maximum "horror adventure" that can be speedrun in 5 minutes. It's about a guy named Patrick that comes home to find his family kidnapped on the second floor of his house, by some unknown maniac. The only way to save them? Solve four easy puzzles to get four coins to open the door on the second floor. There's three endings, and all three of them are a waste of time. You solve a pipe puzzle, a "which animal comes first" puzzle, find some numbers for a safe, and that's it. There's nothing to see here, save your money even if this one is on a heavy sale.
Rating: 0.5/5.0 - Abysmal, avoid it like the plague.

......sorry if this sounds harsh but it was boring...
If this were a free game I'd give it a thumbs up no problem; even with getting it on sale it's just not worth it. I finished the game with other endings in about 15mins.
The game it's self was nicely done with some easy puzzles. I'd recommend this one for anyone looking to getting into the horror/psych/puzzle genre.
Even at $0.49, I cannot recommend this game in the least. I understand it was a Game Jam game but those are often not meant for sale, much less on Steam.
You can watch my playthrough on my YouTube channel, IJustPlayStuff, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dJL56XdptU&feature=youtu.be
There seem to be five endings, all of which were accomplished with about 15 mins of gameplay.
I am just striking out with the games I got on Steam Summer Sale.
Your Home is a prime example of why there should be better screening processes on Steam. It's literally five minutes long for one playthrough (10 if you're an idiot) and loaded with broken English. If it was free, this might be more forgivable, but as it stands, even ten cents is too much for this perfunctory waste of time. The only good that can come of it is the potential meme value. Like the other game I reviewed today, don't be lured in by the low asking price. There are better RPG maker horror games out there.
If "Your Home" was a free game, there would be nothing frustrating in it. You spent 10 or 15 minutes of your life, you beat a small RPG Maker MV game with (literally!) a couple of easy puzzles, you saw a bunch of bad and one good ending (all of them in a text form, so none of them was impessing). Good luck to the authors on their next project, which is expected to be bigger and better!..
But "Your Home" costs 0.90$, and it's surprising, but even for this price it got not enough of content! This game was made in 48 hours for Global Game Jam 2019, and it's OK that it can be finished in no-time, but it's just unfair to sell it for real money. It got neither atmosphere, nor intriguing story, nor captivating gameplay, nor even good sound design - nothing that can indulge even 0.09$ price!
The only positive aspect of the game is a nice pixel-art, but there is not much of it. There are two musical pieces in the whole game, and the first one plays on the menu screen. The second tune (that plays on the background while main hero wanders over the house) consist of 4 notes that repeats constantly; the loop is 38 seconds long, but still all that you will hear through the game will be those 4 repertitive notes. Just brilliant.
The dialogues are laughable both in Russian and English versions (poor PROMT-style translation included). The story is nonsensical - no one knows "the maniac's" motivation to take main hero's wife and daughter hostages, to hide four coins in a different corners of a house and to fill the building with puzzles that can be solved by a preschooler. All of this just HAPPENS, without any logic or script writer's attempts to add credibility to this plot.
I'm agree, for a free GGJ project it's fine. For a 0.90$ Steam game it's just infuriating. It seems like in terms of money a buck is "nothing", but when you give it for "nothing", you start to feel that something went wrong.
Good little game. I hope you make more. My only complaint is that its a bit short, but the price is reasonable for a game of its length. Hope you make a sequel!
Haha, best 50cents I've ever spent :)
Got the game cause of the awesome pixel art, but it only lasted about 5 minutes... 2 minutes if you speed run it ;(
really quick and fun game took me 20 min to complete honestly top 10 fav indie game
I don't know what I expected honestly, but it definitely wasn't this. It took all of 20 minutes to finish the game... 5 times...
The puzzles are a joke, the horror is a joke, it seems like someone was bored at night and decided to try making a game. Which, I mean, is no problem and I enjoyed getting all the endings but... to charge money for this? No. Ultimately, I can't recommend it because it's just not worth paying for.
Loved it.
The game is too short but I love the art style and the storytelling.
I think it good start. Now time to make the next game :)
