6/10 feels like an average early 2000s story shooter. With the added mechanic of bullet-time so you can simply go for headshots. It's all back-to-back firefights with you constantly using your time abilities repeatedly. Took me about an hour to really get good with the combat, as the bullet-time is a pretty firm requirement, else most of your shots become body shots and the enemies soaks those very well. Once you get the crossbow, it quickly becomes the best weapon bar none since you can activate bullet-time and shoot each enemy once in the body and they die with one shot universally. Except maybe the quantum soldiers with the charge blaster, but just going for a quick headshot with bullet-time solves them easily.

The story, is there, and it's very rushed. There's minimal time spent in exposition and you'll just be teleported to the next level to fight enemies. The ending was very anti-climatic and just ends off with a "paradox imminent" where the suit time jumps the protag (no idea what his name is) to some timeline and then roll credits, yeah that's how it ended.

I used to play this game alot om the Xbox 360. Playing it now its still a great game

There is only 10 hours of gameplay here but being able to pause or revert time during battle is something worth mentioning.

Bring back the AA 2000s fps genre. These games were fun and unique much better then the modern copy and paste games we have today. Fun game play, interesting time mechanics, great physics 8/10.

This game is badass, never played a shooter this cool before or since.

Мне понравились манипуляция со временем, динамика, и дизайн пушек. Сюжет такой себе, но главное, как говорил Green Paper в обзорах НЧПН, геймплей.
Хорошая графика, даже сейчас смотрится хорошо в 2024 году. Отличные физика и расчлененка.
Главная причина, по которой у игры нет продолжения, - это сюжет, а не конкуренция с Crysis. Я узнал это в прохождении этой игры у ютубера Первый Хоррор канал (настоящее имя - Антон).
Русский язык можно поставить в файле конфигурации steamwars.ini в папке bin.

The campaign is nice! You'll have to download 2 fixed exe in the Community Hub so the game works... not very well, but works. The game is hard on the eyes, though, with lots of screen effects like shaking, flashes, smoke, water... sometimes it's hard and tiresome to see what's going on. If you tolerate these things, I recommend it! And the time manipulation is necessary in order to progress.

This game is very dull and not fun. The story line isn't too bad, but the game play is ridiculous. All the enemies are the same--same military fatigues and tactics. The graphics and drab brown, grey, and green. And as far as powers? You do get the ability to rewind in time to prevent a death but it's the size of a perfume vial. You can only rewind, like 2 seconds, before it runs out. There are other better FPS games to play.

best time travel fps ive played. weapons feel great. a lot of care went into this. a pain to run on modern OS

Bought for $10 and apparently I need to download drivers to play, but the "get drivers" button links to a dead domain for go daddy.com like wtf, gonna try to play on steam deck hopefully that actually works as intended, otherwise even on sale this old game was a waste, I don't understand why you need to buy games and fix them anyway, steam should just fix or remove it from the store page if it doesn't work
