Bleep Bloop looks like a cute puzzle game that I would enjoy playing by myself or with my wife, who's not much of a gamer. I've given up on trying to play it, however, after doing maybe a half dozen installs. When you *first* launch Bleep Bloop, it will show you the controls - WASD for the yellow block and your keyboard arrows for the pink block. There's no opportunity to remap these controls elsewhere, even on the keyboard, it just tells you what you those controls are. If it somehow messes up and determines that your keyboard only has right and down arrows, but not left and up? Well, you can only move the pink block right and down.
Closing the game and opening it back up doesn't seem to do anything different. In fact, it won't even show you the control layout again. Uninstalling the game and then reinstalling doesn't even seem to do anything - it just does the same thing over again, where I continue to be unable to interact with the pink block. My keyboard works (I'm typing this review on the same keyboard right now!) but Bleep Bloop apparently fails to recognize my controls and somehow won't even seem to reinitialize the controls when I use a different device, such as trying a wireless keyboard that I had sitting around. I feel like I'd enjoy this game well enough if I could actually play it, but if your game is simply unplayable, well, I can't give you anything more than a 1.
It's a really good game where you have to use your brain to solve the puzzles. This is one of the games that are better to be played on mobile (via SteamLink) than using a keyboard. Don'T misunderstand me, tt's also fine with a keyboard.
bleep bloop is a simple sliding game. you're in separate control of two squares, wasd for the yellow, arrows for the red, and the goal is to reach the exit on every level with both of them. it can be played in multiplayer as well, takes about 2.5 hours to complete.
there are 25 levels in 5 hub areas, with the hubs themselves acting as sliding puzzles as well. sadly, there is no simpler way to select levels even after completing the game. no timer, no move limit, but no level names or numbers either, plus no undo, nor level reset. esc doesn't even bring up a pause menu, holding it will drop you back to the current hub where the level has to be selected again. very cumbersome.
mechanics include bubble gum, which stops one of the squares in the middle and creates a sticky tile on each side to stop the other square. switches toggle blocks and if one happens to appear on top of your characters, they die, but no level reset or progress loss, you can continue from the last safe place. colored blocks move along with the same-colored square, but unlike in many games, if you can't move, the blocks don't move either, hugging a wall and spamming a direction won't work here. and finally, in the last level pack you can create blocks in every direction around the current square when you push against the wall, thus easing the way of the other one.
the graphics are functional, sound effects are annoying, but the music is excellent, mostly electric guitar, some piano and other stuff, easily the best part of the game. separate volume settings available, but no windowed mode, alt+enter only produces an unresizable window, and there's no exit button, have to hold esc once again. really lazy.
I like sliding games, but this is below average, nothing to write home about and the execution is lacking, would be weak even for a $1 game. I paid about that much during a sale, still don't think it was worth it.
Lots of fun for two people, doesn't take too long but the puzzles certainly can get difficult. They do a good job adding refreshing new mechanics for each new world. And I love that the level select screen is itself a puzzle.
No idea why this game is marked as PvP on the store page but if you really want to, you could play it that way.
It works great with Remote Play and the puzzles are fun (at least at first, later on they get difficult to the point that navigating the world map without a premeditated concept of the solution is troublesome). I can see myself playing this on and off with a friend if we ever get bored of everything else.
A short fun little puzzle game to play with a friend. Took a little under 2 hours to complete.

This game is really fun, especially for a couple.
My girlfriend and I played it using Steam Remote Play and it was really neat... until the point where we accidentally found a secret minigame by sleeping next to each other, which was still cool, but when we left it, it took us to the credits, which was ok, whatever, but then we were back at the beginning instead of where we were and we didn't want to go through all of it again. <_<
So yes, definitely recommended, but be careful not to start the minigame before you finish the game, I guess.
You can play it solo but it works best with a friend or a partner. Quick, fun and cute, very much worth the money.
Simple, fun and cheap puzzle game. You can solo play it too if you are forever alone (thats not me, Im alfa).

Bleep Bloop is a well-designed puzzle game which took about 2 hours to complete. Levels are grouped in worlds, and each new world introduces a distinct gameplay element which is used with increasing sophistication throughout its levels. This structure keeps the game interesting.
Coop play consists of each player controlling one of the titular characters, although arguably the real cooperation is more in reasoning towards the solution of a given puzzle rather than in moving the characters.
This is one of the cutest puzzles games I have played. It was great to play with my companion.
A decent puzzle game with a very basic and dull art style. Much better in coop with a friend but even without one it isn't too difficult. Soundtrack is also super dull and depressing and better turned off than on. Otherwise hard to go wrong with this game with the price if you want a quick 2 player puzzle game to play.
One of the best to do it
Me and my (non-gamer) mom played this game, it took us 2 hours and it was reasonably easy, i think it was a little short but (although given i bought it on a 75% sale so it was practically free, <$1) i think it was a bang for my buck
The full price is $3 and i honestly wouldn't mind paying that price, but it happened to be on sale when i discovered it

Custom levels would be a great addition in the future to extend the playtime
This game works fine on splitscreen with a controller and keyboard (just remapped the joystick to arrow keys) and also works fine with remote play together, with the same exact controller and keyboard, with the same controls
Love that there are only 4 controls, because that makes it incredibly easy to map to a controller
Short and sweet with some good level design, I appreciate puzzle games that don't just devolve into trial and error, and for the most part this is a game that lets you think your solutions out, often the solution will be staring you in the face and you'll wonder why it took you so long to notice.
The optional coop play works nicely as well. I do not believe there is an undo button so pick your partner carefully.
The game is a little short on features, but for the price it does what it needs to do and does it well. Certainly one of the more satisfying indie puzzle games I have played in a while.
The game works perfect on linux using proton. The games is also fun too.
This puzzle game is perfectly balanced, and I never feel rushed to find a solution. The music is so beautiful that I don't mind being stuck in a puzzle for a bit until inspiration strikes. There are no dead ends, time limits, or turn limits, so you are free to explore for a solution. Even the occasional "death" rewinds to the last good checkpoint.
