This game ROCKS!!!
excellent realistic game that keeps you coming back for more and more
I had this game for 30 minutes. That was long enough to realize that this game needs a support forum, or at least a major update. With 16gb ram and 8gb video card I was way above recommended stats. It still ran like a potato and locked up at random times. You cannot exit full screen without Alt+F4 or CNTRL+ALT+DEL
The horses run is janky. The instruction manual is a pdf that is more confusing than the game itself. I do not recommend unless the dev is willing to keep this game constantly updated. A forum with 24/7 tech help much like a call center is necessary for anyone outside of professionals if you want to make progress.
Difficulty: Unless you know racing inside and out? Makes Dark Souls look easy. There is no guide that can help. Google can only assist so far. It is trial and error in between crashes. 2/10 do not recommend,

Lots of detail, but a great game, if you are into horse racing.
Great in-depth horse racing game. Difficult but not impossible, very enjoyable when you achieve success as a result. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys management simulators and/or horse racing. Impressed by the fact it's run by a one-man show.
An absolute MUST if you follow horseracing. The detail in the game is incredible and the realism is unmatched

The PDF mentioned a five-arrow indicator for the jockey mode. I experienced the jockey mode more than 100 times, which is perfectly correct and the same as what the YouTube video mentioned in the forum about jockey mode for SO6.
The next section is "The level of rein; the thin pale bar (to the right of the green pace indicator bar) is the horse's potential indicator. Potential goes up when your horse is galloping comfortably. Potential goes down as your horse is asked to travel faster." I am a bit confused by the wording and would like to clarify.
Theoretically, if the potential bar goes down, I should rein the horse faster by pressing the key to make it fast. From my experience, the potential bar will not go up again and soon, the bar will drop to zero and make poor progress. On some occasions, the horse can continue to compete and make a close finish to the post.
In most cases, the potential bar goes up steadily at a good pace. Soon, near the last 3 or 4 furlongs, it will drop down, but most likely, at that point, the horse will start to sprint to the post. I wonder why the potential bar drops so much even though the horse is sprinting? Particularly when the potential bar drops to zero, the horse will lose power immediately.
The relationship between the power (strength) of a horse and potential bar during jockey mode is yet to be further explained for the mechanism as it shows inconsistency and unrealistic. Not to mention the jockey mode hinder players to use pace or position strategic to run horse, which clearly cannot reveal how a real jockey will use any of those strategies to win a race.
