There's a mystery afoot, and the only one who can solve it is the renowned investigator known simply as The Detective. Finding clues and questioning suspects is just part of the job for such an experienced frog, but this case is a tough fly to catch.

Extremely short, easy, and not very funny. I am not looking forward playing the other episodes. It's not voiced, but has cute music. Just not for me at all. If you have kids, they will probably enjoy this, I think.

Very silly and endearing. The soundtrack was great and all the dialogue was funny if not a bit corny. The series may seem a bit pricey for how long it takes to complete, but I would honestly pay full price to support the small team who made it. This game takes absolutely zero skill to play and has no challenge to it, so don't expect that. It's all about the story. I highly recommend playing the entire series. Frog detective 1 is good, Frog detective 2 is great, and Frog detective 3 is awesome! The only thing I really disliked was that the magnifying glass was totally useless. It would have been more fun if it was incorporated in some way.
SO SO CUTE!! I love the character design and fluidity of animation.
But, a little repetitive with the tasks and predictable ending. I think game play should be more difficult and have mini games for each character in order to complete their goals. Easy ones like tic tac toe, and if Detective loses, they cannot complete character task and must try again later.
Dance party at the end was my favorite part!
A cute, funny game about a frog detective. The camera angles in the game are hysterical. It is a little pricy for what it is, especially since it is so short, but it made me happy. Frog Detective put a smile on my face, so I think it is definitely worth the play, and I believe it will put a smile on your face as well.
The game is funny but just not worth the money sadly.
This is a phenomenal masterpiece and can not reccomend it enough. It is a very short adventure but not one you will soon forget. Though best enjoyed with friends it is just as exciting solo.

Honestly, this game has been so much fun to play— and not just this one, but the other two as well! You can really see the effort and love that’s been put into this game, and I absolutely appreciate it. Hopefully, we get part 4 soon! Also, justice for Detective Frog to become the number one detective—he deserves it! Highly recommend this if you enjoy well-crafted games with a lot of heart!

Frog Detective 1 - The haunted island is a very funny casual game where you play as a frog detective and have to solve a mystery on a island. The characters are great and the designs are very good. For his low price, I recommend it!!! 🐸💗

A short, but fun game. A fetch quest game that's mostly carried by it's writing, amusing characters, and good music. Has a lot of heart in it, enjoyed it a lot.

A very short but fun game! Definitely something worth playing to cheer up after a difficult day.
What I didn't like:
- The amount of content - The story seems to be divided in three acts across three games. I've completed the first so far so it's far from over. But I wish there was a bit more. Maybe a few more characters with one or two or quests. Maybe the cave part a bit longer. Anything to make it just a little more, like 20 minutes longer, because I think I beat it too fast and I was walking around the island to look at everything to find some easter eggs or silly other things. So I would probably end it in 1 hour if I hadn't looked around.
- Gameplay - The game is carried by two mechanics, fetch quests and dialogues. For such a short game it's to be expected. But there could be more. Without spoilers, there is one more mechanic introduced in the epilogue. Why not use it more in the earlier part of the game? It would give more variety.
What I enjoyed:
- Adorable art style - Adorable and goofy. I love how derpy all these creature look, big and small ones.
- Comedy - My type of humour. There were funny dialogues with all characters. Not even a one joke that missed or made me cringe. Very good writing!
- Characters - Everyone was likeable, more or less. Cute designs, great jokes, varied personalities.
- Plot - It wasn't too deep but enough. The Island is haunted and you have to figure everything out. The ending made sense, was silly and cute. And had a bit horrifying undertone. Loved it.
Frog Detective 1 put a smile on my face and made me laugh several times. It was a short experience but relaxing. I can't wait to play Frog Detective 2!
No challenge nor entertainment value whatsoever.
Extremely basic visuals and audio, gameplay is just a few lines of text and the only good thing I can say about the writing is there are no mistakes.
The whole thing is over in 30-40 mins.
I guess children below 10 would enjoy it, or if "it's so bad it's good" is a kind of humor you enjoy.

This is not a good game. There's almost no story, no interesting characters and gameplay is nonsensical. Imagine a silly internet meme that you'd look at for 3 seconds stretched to an hour
Loved the soundtrack and humor. While a short game it was an amazing experience i loved every second. oh my god its frog detective oh my god
A gripping thriller that doesn't let go of you the whole extensive play time, Mr. Frog engages on a genre defying search for truth in the face of pure terror. The scene where frog beats that koala for meth was over the line for me personally but I guess it fit the gritty context of epstein's island

A very charming little game, short but well-priced for it. The gameplay is very rudimentary - walk around talking to people and giving and receiving items - and the graphics are simple but cute. I kind of wish there was more to do with the magnifying glass, but I still had a lot of fun with these funky little guys.
I enjoyed the part where the detective tried to help Martin stop being afraid of ghosts haunting the island by asking him to close his eyes and imagine gentle waves crashing against the shores of an island.

Played for 46 minutes and laughed numerous times. Not much more to say.
Fun game. Very If A then B, but that's not a bad thing. The graphics seem to use a bit more memory than they should for their quality, but that shouldn't affect gameplay.
