10/10 well optimized game and easily worth it's price. I haven't had any issues with this compared to problems I have with other rhythm games (The hitwindows are way more lenient in this game than I'm used to, so maybe there's input issues here too... but I can't tell.) If you play this style of rhythm game with arrow or circle graphics, you will need to learn how to read bar.
My computer has problems running some rhythm games that are visually bland... but this game looks unique and still runs smoothly. Like I'm surprised how well the 3D themes play for me and still look so cool. This game also has these cool hitsounds (Sound Enhancer) you can toggle off/on. It's awesome because it actually takes out the audio of the song and you get to play it.
Someone said you only get one song in base game. So either the creators changed the game or the player didn't properly install the game's content... because I got 70+ songs all with 4 key and 6 key charts. Considering most songs have Easy Normal and Hard... you get at least 350 charts in total.
While the "Forever Friends" DLC is expensive, holy cow you get a ton of charts/songs. Plus I got it on sale for 9.99 USD and that's a steal compared to some stuff I've paid for to play. Note that the other DLCs are theme dlcs. So you don't really get songs for them and it might seem unfairly priced for essentially a skin change to some. But there's worse garbage games that give you pay to win features for way more than that. You don't have to buy it, it's mostly to support the game while getting a bonus if you enjoy it.
I was looking for a rhythm game to play and stumbled across MUSYNX, and I absolutely love it! It’s pretty simple to play, and they update the game regularly with fresh content. Right now, I’m working on 100% completing the achievements, and I’m so close! :3 It’s a fun challenge. The game has also helped me improve my skills in rhythm games. I definitely recommend it! :D
Fun game. Used to play a lot of sound voltex and was looking for a game similar to it. Lots of songs to choose and even more with the dlcs! Great song selection.
Had gotten into Osu mania awhile and got back into again recently but wanted more. Decided to buy this game and it's really fun! There's a lot of songs with different ways to play, such as 4 keys or 6 keys with the choice of either 3D or 2D, 3D is a nice change of pace from the usually DJMax/Mania style and is really fun and unique, with different animations going on in the back! 2D even has its own animations, apart from 3D, and you can really tell that a lot of love went into this game! Also, despite releasing in 2018 its still getting free updates! Definitely worth the price, you wont regret getting it!
This game did not look very promising to me honestly. Infact, when i first played this in early 2023, i ditched it practically instantly. there's no custom user created charts, and the skins were obscuring and annoying, ugly even. I decided to give the game another shot in late august and i've stuck with it since then. I switched my skin to a nice bar skin called Ocean2D, i fixed my judgement window, and offset. This is the MOST FUN VSRG i have ever touched. I play osu and quaver along with this, but this game is just perfect. Sure there's no custom songs, but every chart the game comes with is FANTASTIC. and i mean FANTASTIC. New songs are added to the game every so often, as it's actively updated by the dev(s), and the updates never dissapoint. i've learned to love that about this game. to love how you wait for new songs come out and then play them when they do. The SCORING in this game is also so much better than anything i've seen in other VSRG's. and last but not least, the hit window for "Exact" notes just makes sense. You don't have to be a robot to get exacts on a chart, you just tap to the beat and you get them. No weird shit to it. that's gotta be my favorite thing about this game. Anyways.. TL;DR: Musynx is peak because of the charts, fairness in the hit windows and the scoring system. If you like VSRG's you are missing out so much by not trying this.

I find a lot of rhythm games overstimulating. This one has a very simple interface and is great if you're looking for an arcade-type rhythm game that's easy to learn and tough to master :)

not the best rhythm game i've played and the fact that the combos and judgements are in an entirely different language + half of the songs are locked behind a DLC contributes to that. the song selection is,,,,eeeeehhhh it kinda sucks. also, the skins are just...not my thing. but i think this game is helping me read bar skins better + it's kinda fun, just a lil bit, so like. i would recommend this i suppose, but that doesn't mean i think its GOOD

Looks I found the keyboard based vsrg I've been looking for in years. A amazing and extensive song list, even for base price (and 230+ songs for at most $29 usd is extremely generous imo), charts for all skill levels for just about every song along with 4k and 6k variants, and beautiful visuals that can be customized to your liking. This is absolutely a rhythm game for anyone. Definitely worth getting, especially on sale.
Only real problems I have is that right's count towards combos which can indirectly encourage bad habits and the timing window is pretty lenient (perhaps a option to to tighten the timing window for those who want more of a challenge?). A option to have a live stat and score counter would also be nice aswell. Not sure how you'll implement the stat counter for the 3d skins, but definitely have it as a option for 2d skins.

For its price, MUSYNX is a steal! As my first PC rhythm game, it’s beginner-friendly with a smooth learning curve, a great UI, and an amazing tracklist. Grinding for achievements was repetitive but fun, and the variety of songs kept me hooked. My go-to activity during pomodoro breaks.

TERRIBLE. CANT CHANGE OFFSET. NEED TO PAY TO UNLOCK MORE SONGS. NOTHING AT ALL LIKE HOW IT WAS ADVERTISED. TOO OVERSTIMULATING. NO OPTION TO CHANGE SKINS (such as in osu!.). SONG SELECTION IS ANNOYING AS HELL, ONE SONG IS IN CHINESE???? AND ONLY THAT ONE IN SPECIFIC??? LIKE THE COMBOS AND STUFF ARE CHINESE AND YOU CANT CHANGE IT TO ENGLISH????? -15/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVEN IF IT MEANT STOPPING A NUCLEAR WAR FROM HAPPENING.

my favorite type of rhythm game. simple top down layout with 2d/3d view options. there are some genuine bangers in the music selection and the difficulty levels keep the game engaging while i learn a track. definitely gonna keep playing this.
I noticed some reviews saying you only get one song. Even without the bonus pack it's not just one song. you just have to press the 'HIDDEN/SHOW Unavailable' tab in the drop down menu so you don't have to see the songs you need to buy dlc for.

You get 1 song in the base game and have to spend 25 dollars to unlock the rest. This is stated nowhere on the store page. Play Quaver instead.
Bought this game on sale for half a dollar.
The bundled content can keep you playing for at least 20 hours (to perfection). The game has a good variety of music, ranging from EDM to classical. Also I didn't buy Nekopara.
But for the DLC, there is very little reason to buy. You have 10 or 12 songs that are worth playing if you migrated from other rhythm games, the rest are just of moderate quality (with some exceptions).
But just play it. You'll love the game.
Piano Tiles but on crack, Guitar Hero without the guitar, cutesy with a beautiful sound tack.
Paid 35.5PHP so I can't really complain. Base price isn't that bad either.
My favorite skins are CLASSIC, Techno2D, and Sky2D. The rest are a little... eh. I'm not a big fan of 3D skins, and others just have colors that just do not go well together. Songs are pretty decent, although I don't recognize any of them except for that one ICEY song. Having the songs keysounded is also pretty fun.
I might be biased but I still prefer DJMAX over this. Arguably, I wish DJMAX had some of MUSYNX's skins but that's about all this has going for me. Also, for some of the skins, the hold notes being stretched out PNGs is really disorienting. As you're holding the note, the PNG shrinks and it looks really off in my opinion. You might want to consider that.

a game worth buying. good songs as well as 3 different difficulty levels which are quite different significantly but it doesn't matter, as for the songs they are all very good, really worth playing XD. learning to play rhythm games with 6 key notes might be really worth trying here because it's quite easy to play 6K in this game and easy to learn XD
Before you buy the game just know that you only get one song. All the other ones are behind a paywall.

I bought this game because Guitar Hero was one of my favorite games when I was growing up. Recently, I had been enjoying MuseDash and this game was recommended to me, so I thought I'd give it a shot! At first, I didn't like the game that much, but only because the first few songs aren't that good. When you get into the dubstep and classical songs, they are very immersive. I am a pianist in real life, and it's a good feeling- your fingers gliding over the keys, and keeping in sync with the music- just like playing the piano. Not comparing a game to a musical instrument, it's just the entire aspect. Be exactly on beat, and keep up with the rythm. The more I played this game, the more obsessed I got. It's like keyboard guitar hero... And it's a ton of fun! The only issue I'm having is in-game recording. I'd love to be able to share with my friends, but any time I try to record in steam overlay, it doesn't work. Definitely buy this game, especially if you enjoy GH or MuseDash. It will grow on you!

Every single one of the themes are either too distracting, make notes too hard to see, or are just straight up memes. It looks like a pretty fun game and has a good song selection, but it's frustrating to play when you can barely see what's coming at you.
I love this game so much one of my favs and i only just started playing. The game has enough songs when you first buy it and they are awesome also just a quick suggestion maybe add something like a anime opening dlc for like $20.00 i understand the game is a different kind of thing to anime but it would be pretty amazing and thanks for making it.
A must play for rhythm game fans. It offers such an incredible value with its expansion pass compared to other competitors such as DJ MAXX. In addition I find its 3D more 'Guitar Hero' like style of presenting notes to be much more appealing than the static 2D streams found in most other games. Overall, great price, great song selection, great presentation, and overall great music game!
its such a quality game for the price, it doesnt get many updates but i dont particularly mind
its not a game you could make your main rhythm game, but its definitely nicer feeling than most
especially with it being keysounded-- djmax makes that seem like a luxurious thing with the prices of packs, and this game does it well while being affordable as hell
very fun, like that you can switch between 3d and 2d board styles and the freedom of choice for the themes is a nice addition
maybe like 8.5/10 overall but 10/10 with price in mind

MUSYNX is an extremely high quality game, especially for budget-conscious rhythm gamers. The amount of content you get included with the base game and forever friends is rivaled only by Muse Dash and it receives consistent support from the devs as well. Very much worth the money!
