I like growing and eating things. This game includes both of those things.
Some of the levels are unforgiving but if you don't want that just try a lower difficulty.
7.6/10
very good game
fun little game but bit expensive
i literally just want the main menu music to be the Soundtrack to my life.
but okay the game is kinda boring once you play it for 6 or 7 hours... probably. 6/10
One of the games of all time

Mmm... Yummy!
gud
i like
Easily the best and most varied in the series
Love that the stars are not based on only time, but your ability to not get hurt as well
Makes the levels more lenient and also more skill based
The penguin levels can suck my dick
eat, eat, repeat
Was entertaining watching the tasty games on youtube when I was a kid and now I only bought them for nostalgia and for the achievements.
yall remember when you could eat stuff
Game is good.
Last time I was *deeply disappointed* with some levels I gave it a bad review due to luck factor, but since this time I am just absolutely incompetent playing the soccer bonus, these are the only levels that make me genuinely feel like I can't get the deadly all stars achievement.
But besides the disparity between mobile version being free to play with microtransactions (THAT ARE STRAIGHT UP UNFAIR ADVANTAGES MAY I ADD) and here being a paid game with none of that is not quite something I liked to see.
That's all, the rest is ok.
Not as good as its predecessors, although it DOES take care of a couple of annoying issues with how the games were programmed. Now you can no longer lose size, making (most) levels always, always possible. There are one or two where you are trying to race something else eating stuff, but, this is still a welcome change. Also, there are a lot of different themes for the stages now, which is pretty cool - I enjoyed the vibes for being sea life and also insects. But the stages feel like there is a LOT of filler, especially on the bonus half of the game. And the three-star requirements to unlock everything are often absurdly ridiculous, even on Very Easy difficulty, so the first thing I did was go download a file that had all stages unlocked just so I could play the game and not worry about minmaxing my stats. I understand wanting to add a degree of challenge, but I'm here to eat planets. I did enjoy some of the more environmental themed stages, which I thought were clever commentary, especially about cleaning up oil spills. Nice touch even if I think Back For Seconds had a more focused design. If you like the series you'll enjoy this one too
im sure nobody plays this game anymore but its fun (dont play very easy mode)
I have been stuck on the last penguin level for well over a year now. (do not pick deadly difficulty please for god)
caseoh would enjoy
I have a lot of nostalgia for this series which is why when I saw this game on sale I decided to finally get around to buying and playing it. With a greater variety of characters reminiscent of Tasty Blue and the iconic Grey Goo returning as the final chapter of the game, I was hopeful for the game but sad to say I was somewhat disappointed with the overall execution.
One of my main gripes with the game is the difficulty. Each level assigns you a score based on what you ate and the amount of time it took you to complete the level. Getting more stars allows you to unlock bonus levels and alternate skins for each character. I initially started playing the game on Normal, though after finishing the cat levels and some of the octopus levels gaining very few stars, I decided to change the difficult to the easiest setting "Very Easy". Despite that, while I was more consistently able to get three stars on many levels, there where still a handful of levels where I would get 1 or 0 stars. This was despite me playing many of the levels while constantly holding sprint. Not to mention the levels where the gimmick is to not eat certain things or you lose a large number of points, or the gimmick levels that have you pushing objects quickly which react very poorly to collision from your character.
I also felt like many of the levels just weren't that fun. Most levels would have parts where the gameplay would slow down significantly as you had to keep eating dozens of the same small thing while waiting to get big enough to eat the significantly bigger thing, usually having to run around the map to get every stationary object in compact level designs or waiting for things to slowly spawn in. There were even some levels where you had about two unique objects you could eat, one being the tiny object you had to eat dozens of before getting to eat about ten big objects and complete the level, which just made for very boring and repetitive gameplay. The few bonus levels I did unlock were either absurdly difficult or just had very boring and repetitive gimmicks. I swear there were about three bonus levels in the cat chapter that just involved eating different sized poodles while other larger poodles charged at you until you could eat them.
And neither of these things would bother me as much as they do if not for the weight the stars hold. I typically don't care much about scores in single player games, as I still could have fun just playing my way through the game. However, many bonus levels are locked behind stars, and by the time I finished the game there were still several bonus levels that I had yet to unlock. Also, the skins you unlock with stars require such a large amount. The alternate skin for just the first character in the game requires you to have gained 350 stars, which by the time I had completed the game was the only skin I had unlocked, so I was far beyond playing any of the cat levels and getting to use the skin unless I just replayed some of them. However, the levels are so difficult and repetitive that I can't see myself replaying any of them to try and get more stars or check out any new skins I could've unlocked.
Overall, the game is an alright experience but I can't see myself replaying it in order to unlock any more bonus content, maybe just to replay a couple levels when I'm bored at best. I played about nine hours, I got the whole experience, but don't see myself playing much more in the future, even with some bonus levels left incomplete. If you've enjoyed the other Tasty Planet games and want more of that, you'll probably enjoy this game to a certain degree. If you haven't played the other Tasty Planet games, I recommend just playing Tasty Planet: Back For Seconds or Tasty Blue instead. Love the series and will always remember the games fondly, but this game was a mediocre experience that just falls flat for me.
