Very good and fun game, lots of play time, campaign is very fun and can be long if you take it at your own pace. endless hours of play

There will never again be an RTS game with an equivalent level of scale and grandiose as this game. Supreme Commander 2, although its fun, has much smaller, less important feeling campaign levels. The AI in skirmishes are pretty stupid, though, and they'll sometimes just kill themselves. Overall, best RTS game ever made, sad that there will never be a third game :'(

Superb strategy game. Each faction brings unique strengths and weaknesses to the fight, so understanding that and structuring your approach is critical. Each battle can take a long time to unfold, so strength / resiliency / flexibility are key - - and Supreme Commander really helps those shine. Cheap but endless fun, so highly recommended

Play this game with the "Forged Alliance Forever" (FAF) community mod/platform. It is still by far the best large scale warfare RTS and despite its age it looks and feels amazing to play.

If you are into strategies, this game can never bore you. It's not even my favourite genre, but I just hit 600 hours.

A grate RTS with a good story and intresting base building that is just so fun and cool i like it probly one of the funnest rts so far.

As far as RTS, this game is as good as it gets. It has four asymmetrical factions. Graphics are very good. Hundreds of units, including variations/upgrades. Game play is great. You have multiplayer (I don't know how active that is), skirmish (more than the usual number of difficulty levels), and campaign. Camera control is very good, and includes rotation (I feel cheated when I can't rotate the camera to see everything on the map). You can choose your color; it's annoying when you can't do that (e.g., Ancestors Legacy, Stronghold). It's hard to imagine what might make it better; maybe even more factions. If you are an RTS gamer, you should buy this game; but if you're a hardcore RTS gamer, you already have it.

One of the best games to exist, please buy it and play it so the Devs will make a Supreme Commander 3 and my wet dreams become a reality.

Get the Forged Alliance Forever mod, jump through its hoops and get a cleaned up game that really shines.

Game is great and enjoyed it, but Buidings count as Units greatly limiting your army / base size

Little unstable but it's the spiritual successor to Total Annihalation, far more so than it's own successor Total Annihalation: Kingdoms. Supreme commander 2 just dosn't keep the same feel.

It was good for its time, but now it's very clumsy and doesn't run properly on the latest rigs. You'll experience freezing every time a character speaks, and eventually, the game will crash and freeze indefinitely. The battles are fun, though, with that old Supreme Commander feel, good music, and solid resource management. However, the graphics, animations, and effects are quite outdated. Since it doesn't work properly, I can't recommend it, as you won't be able to play it normally.

If you don't already have this, you should get it. It's an essential part of RTS history, and one hell of a game.

Nothing better than crashing a czar into another person

It's an RTS. Sure it's not the newest but it plays well! I like the customized units for each faction.

This is still one of my TOP RTS games, the engines inability to handle thousands of units without slowing down is a shame but its still pretty good!

Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance reminds me of the Conquerors games on Roblox, which I played frequently when I was young. I really like the concept of this game, but I don't think it has aged super well and I don't possess any nostalgia for it. There are probably better real-time strategy games available. Shout-out to Forged Alliance Forever (FAF) for keeping this game and its community alive!

Don't bother with the base game or the sequel.

base game is pure crap, ai's are all cheating, unbalanced to the point where defence is just a waste of time. (what in the hell are even the walls for? cattle?) However there is a mod community that will spice this up from a 2.5/10 to a 7.5/10

If you like to come home and rage at your computer after a long day of working for the man, spend an hour building up the perfect base, then listen to your friend cackle as your team's AI tells you that there's a "strategic launch detected", then watch all your hard work go up in atomized flames as you rage quit the game and rip your hair out, then this is the game for you.

There's a great online community of players who are very supportive in helping get new players up to speed. This game is addictive!

The greatest strategy game (that I've played, at least) to ever come out. Land, air, sea and information. Absolutely incredible, even 15 years later it still not only holds up, it excels. Go on, treat yourself.

This game is a top notch strategy game. It's really neat coming up with new ways to destroy your opponent and the options keep increasing as you learn about your units more. Would recommend getting FAF (You can just google Forged Alliance Forever and it should come up) so you can play with friends and other peoples.I would also recommend the black ops mod in FAF as it adds more units, increasing possibilities. Warning - the Russian are really good, I hear they all switched to SUP COM when Bobby Fischer beat them in chess.

The best in the series. I love TA. Love it to death, but this is just better. Supreme Commander 2 was garbage.

Still fun after all these years.

Did not work for me anymore since quite some time on Windows.
But now it performs perfectly on my Linux (OpenSuse Leap 15.6, GE-Proton 21).

Since a lot of years passed by since i touched this last time, i started the campaign again - very enjoyable.

While I hope that Sanctuary Shattered Sun will be good, what I have known is great be right here.

Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is an incredible real-time strategy game with a unique and engaging gameplay experience. The massive scale of battles and the variety of units make every match exciting and strategic. The graphics, while a bit dated, are still impressive and add to the overall immersive experience. The game mechanics are well thought out and provide a deep, complex challenge. Unfortunately, I've experienced crashes after every skirmish match, which can be frustrating. Despite this downside, the game is still worth playing for its depth and strategic brilliance.
