Decent game, sort of like Diablo, leveling up and finding gear to beat the mobs.
dont buy this trash run at 1 fps,need mods and download tool out of steam AND half of them are dead link
This game is unplayable anymore. It used to be a nice diabloid in a really fun setting. Unfortunately, the version distributed VIA Steam is completely broken and you WILL face technical difficulties within first 15 minutes of the game. I have been looking for the ways to fix it myself - I failed.
The only way is to wait for the developers to react on this. But in several years they remain silent.
So yeah, they still are close to the concept. The game that was boring but playable became a demon-posessed software giving you occaisonal 1 fps slideshow on any setup.

Played long time ago, this is some weird changed version with lack of mechanics I remember
I used to play this back in the day and I really liked it. So I thoughtt I'd take it up again for a spin but when I started it I remembered. There is a bug in this game that makes your mouse not move at all if you move it too slowly, so there is a cut off. Highly annoying and unplayable for those that doesn't want really really high mouse sense. And I remembered I actually made a hack to fix this with a debugger I attached to the process. So after a bit of reversing I got it working back then. However, I do not have the patience to do that again. Don't use windows anymore, don't have those hacks around any longer. So, meh. Screw it. I'll go play something else.
Got to lvl 11 before I started getting the 1 fps bug frequently. My nostalgia needed more. Sad.
What's that? bankruptcy? All intellectual property seized? Comerica Bank? Namco Bandai Games? Hellgate London: Resurrection? Hellgate Global? David Brevik's path once again lead to exile....
Play London 2038 instead, it requires a retail version which is available on internet archive

- I was not able run the game, till I set compatibility mod of Hellgate to Windows XP SP3 - Steam doesn't care to set
- brutal random fps frops - was better in windowed mode, devs/publisher/steam doesn't care
- sometime after ALT+TAB sound went off, only restart of the game helps - nobody cares
if I find more issues/solutions about this trash I will update comment
