nice
Time management game that is put together without much love.
If you're into time management games, it might be worth checking it out, if you expect an involving story line with it, just walk away,
lvl 45 was actuallly the worst
Does not work anymore. Crashes on loading screen. Don't spend your money on this.
A nice clear the road type time management game. It has 50 levels to solve which are pretty easy on normal difficulty and the game itself is very very similar to the Alicia Quatermain games to the point it feels like it is just a reskin.
Works fine on Linux with Proton (7.0-2).
This worked with Windows 10 for me.
It's a good game. You play it by clicking on things. (Boy does that describe a lot of games.) Clicking on something assigns a worker, or, contextually, another character, to take that action, collecting resources, fixing things, upgrading buildings, and demolishing obstructions. Where the gameplay comes in there are limited pathways that restrict what things you can do, until you open those pathways up; and you need to, quickly, on the fly, work out what to do next, and where to set your priorities. Each level has a different kind of puzzle to work out. If that sounds like your kind of thing, buy it.
The game doesn't launch, tried it multiple times.
A solid win for the series. Very enjoyable! :)
A nice time management game in the same universe as The 12 Labours of Hercules. This one seems to be intended for a younger audience, featuring a more cutesy presentation and very manageable achievements (you don't even need to complete the game).
Fun fun time management.
Not a good installment in the series. The animation style is different and not as nice or light. The mouse control is super weird and doesn't make it easy to play.
The supply gathering mechanisms are different from the original. Pros: buildings don't have to be built by workers, they just happen when clicked; no numbering system for actions in order: just click on the next set available and the workers will get to it without having to worry about order. Cons: can't unselect tasks to be done; run out of available task slots without the numbers to keep track; can't select tasks before routes to them have been cleared (can't plan for future task dependencies).
Story is acceptable, but the overall trouble with the mouse and the task issues make it not at the top of the 12 installments in the series. Wouldn't recommend.
Entertaining and strategy game, that I like to play. Challenging when trying for perfection. Highly recommend
Weeeeeell... These 12 Labours of Hercules spinoffs are usually decent, but Kids of Hellas felt more like a chore than fun at many times. Level design certainly lacked creativity, there was maybe one level where I had to do something else than the obvious build-all-as-soon-as-you can routine. At its asking price, it can still get a recommendation, but it's far from the pinnacle of time management fun.
I love all theHercules games, Good quaity and never a bug.
I bought this game in October 2019. The night I bought it I got to play it for 30 minutes before I needed to get to bed. Shut my computer down and went to bed. Motherboard on that computer died that night. After acquiring a new computer to use (used but new to me at least) I reinstalled Steam and started downloading and checking my games for compatibility with the on-board graphics the machine came with. Every game I owned has worked now except this one. It hangs at the loading screen and I don't know why and have not been able to figure it out. I even went to my other "game" provider that I buy games from to test whether it was the game or the site. Their downloaded demo copy worked perfectly. Yes I could buy another copy from them but I already own it on Steam. Steam's help files haven't been much help and I contacted the developer/publisher 2 months ago finally asking for help and have not gotten a response at all. It was a fun game for the 30 minutes I got to play but I can't recommend it because of these problems and no response. I even applied for a refund with Steam but I didn't know you not only have a restriction of less than 2 hours of game play (it has .7 hrs now because of my trying to get it to work) but that the refund has to be within 2 weeks of original purchase.
12 Labours of Hercules with different graphics
This game is not as good as some of the others that Jet Dog puts out but has some fun things. The expert level is harder than some of the other games in the series so that was a bit disappointing. I do recommend it for people who like these types of games but only if it is on deep sale. Unless you're rich and don't care about how much you spend and then I say "go for it".
Its possitive game, whitch promise good mood and some couple of hours gaming, its distress but still in circle again and again, i can recommend, it is cute & kind game ...
Point & click resource collection.
Lovely art and enjoyable gameplay as usual.
If you like the Hercules games, you should like this :)
should have a linux version
Plays quite similar to Hercules series.
on the negative side :
Maybe a little over board with the colors & details, which makes finding & noticing stuff a bit hard. Also the music though soothing makes it a bit boring, music in the Hercules series was more diverse, uplifting & energizing.
on the positive side :
The story is quite interesting. There are puzzle pieces to find, unlocking additional levels. As well 3 difficulty modes, making it to a rather relaxing or challenging game.
Overall a recommendation after playing the first chapter.
I thought this was a spin off of the 12 Labours of Hercules series.... it seems to be more of it's own thing, and a reskin of the Alicia Quatermain games at that.
Would vote neutral if I could.
