Dear colin,
Thanks for showing me this world of yours. It's not perfect, sketched onto the screen as it is, but you can really feel the love you put into it.
I had a lot of fun overcoming all the challenges you laid out; from being lost and weak in the forest to conquering the highest towers with tools I had not dared to dream about. Sometimes breezing through obstacles while needing to bash my head against others for quite a while. Once I understood the rhythm laid out before me the combat dances became simultaneously thrilling and exhausting - just like they're supposed to be.
What surprised me was the poetry you weaved in between the fighting. As abstract as it could be at times there's a lot here that really struck a chord with me and that I'll carry with me.

sometimes cryptic, unusual artstyle, unique setting, good mechanics, dark themes within a beautiful message for love, aceptance and understanding.
"Rawr xD" art style combined with the soundtrack goes insanely hard. Initial run of the game was fairly easy with the setup I used, only died once near the end; I see other reviews mentioning NG+, which I haven't had a chance to run through yet and I presume gets much harder. Absolutely worth playing through.
The best game I have played all year. Not joking, this thing is intense.
Lucah is a really fantastic action game with an interestingly told and important story. I highly recommend it. Also, music is good good.
FUN
Definitely one of the more unique RPG games I've ever played. The OST goes hard and the sound design alone is perfect for testing new overly complicated headphones/earbuds. Overall, highly recommend for gameplay, lore, art, and sound. Can safely say this game greatly influenced my artstyle.
underrated title
Given the current climate, honestly something to play and take to heart.
Lucah is a character action game(like Bayonetta/DMC) with some Souls elements. I've seen many indie devs attempt to make games in both of the aforementioned genres, and the results are generally not great. Combined with an art style that seems like it a very bad fit for this kind of game, I had low hopes coming into this game, and its follow up Death of a Wish. The Death of a Wish demo impressed me though, so decided to give Lucah a try.
Lucah is the most fun I've had with a character action game(CAG) in 10+ years. Combat feels great and has a lot of depth. The game is difficult, but not frustratingly so. There's a great deal of enemy variety, and attack readability is not an issue. Unlike a lot of recent CAGs, there's no genre shifts/"cinematic" moments, or forcing you to switch to a character with a completely different playstyle that you might not enjoy.
One of the most unique aspects of Lucah's gameplay is that it encourages efficient gameplay for reasons other than getting S ranks for fun. Healing in Lucah is limited, but less limited are items that let you retry an encounter. If an encounter goes poorly, you get a limited number of attempts to do it again; hopefully leaving the encounter with more health next time. Both healing items and retry items replenish at checkpoints. The game also has a time limit! For the first half(or more) of the game it's a non-issue, but there's a specific point where it becomes a big deal, and the only way to extend your time is to get good ranks in combat! Even if you can complete a battle mostly unscathed, it might be worth retrying the fight just to get a better rank(and thus, give yourself more time).
The gameplay is the main selling point of Lucah for me, but the other aspects of the game are interesting too. The sound design is solid. The art style is very unique and contributes to a very dreamlike atmosphere. Unfortunately, the art style can also make it really hard to figure out what you are actually looking at. While most CAGs tend to have pretty wacky stories, Lucah instead focuses on some more serious topics. Suicide, violence towards children, etc. The game does a great job of making the world feel like a hopeless nightmare filled with violence. It feels like a very personal story. It's not a very cohesive story though, what's actually going on in the plot seems pretty vague.
Transform was the precursor to crashing out.

I've owned this game for so many years, and it always feels different and better every time I play this game. I highly recommend this game and its sequel!
This was an absolutely wonderful game. But I do have to warn everyone, the main story starts at new game + if you want Lore. So please do a playthrough of new game +
