The Hero Who Saved the World
- Explore the vast world of Solemn. Enchanted Forests, Bustling Fishing Towns, & Dark Mining Caves are some of the few places to visit.
- Meet Townsfolk and convince them to stay in your town. Perhaps meeting people will unlock your memories of the past…
- Collect rare items and materials found across the world and bring them back to your town for selling and crafting!
Customize Your Town
- Harvest materials by chopping wood, mining ores, catching bugs, and fishing in rivers and ponds!
- Unlock new structures to build by meeting new Townsfolk. Want a Tavern or a Lumber Mill? How about a Fishing Hut or a Magical Library? Your town's design is all up to you!
- Fulfill your Townsfolk's requests. Some may want to live on a higher elevation, others may want to be surrounded by trees and water. Fulfilling the requests of your Townsfolk will earn you their hearts and unlock new relationship paths.
Master New Hobbies & Crafts
- Gathering: Whether you’re picking fruit or picking weeds, your gathering skill will level up! The Gatherer’s Glove is needed to unlock this ability.
- Mining: Looking for shiny ores to collect? Interested in rare materials for crafting? Then mining is for you!
- Woodcutting: Those pesky trees and debris that keep popping up all over town needs to be chopped! Wood is an essential material for building new structures and furniture.
- Bug Catching: Craft a Bug Net and catch all sorts of critters. Be sure to go bug hunting during each season and at different times of the day!
- Fishing: There's nothing quite like relaxing by a pond with a fishing rod in hand. You can sell fish for a decent price at the Shopping District, or use them as ingredients for new cooking dishes.
- Farming: Plant some seeds in tilled soil and wait a few days. Veggies are an essential ingredient to many cooking recipes! Also, they make your town look pretty.
- Cooking: Once you've built the Tavern and have become good friends with Bubsy, you'll be able to start cooking delicious meals for your Townsfolk! Maybe you can attract rare Townsfolk by serving unique dishes...
- Crafting: There are tons of structures, decorative monuments, and furniture to craft. Often times your Townsfolk will request specific objects that they would like to be placed in their home. Make sure you gather enough building materials!
- Merchanting: Selling items at the Shopping District will net you large sums of Dewdrops, which is the main currency in Solemn. As you become a better Merchant, rarer items will appear for you to buy!
- Tarott Master: Once the Dark Wizard was defeated, all of his monsters were sealed away into Tarott Cards. Many Townsfolk collect and battle with these cards, and there is even a big competition held each year in Dirboros. Get collecting!
Make New Friends
- Willow: A cheery young girl who wants to rebuild Littlewood. She found you in the middle of the forest and took care of you for 3 days while you were unconscious. She likes working with tools and is quite proficient at building things.
- Dalton: A ditsy boy who loves going on adventures with you. Despite his forgetfulness and silly demeanor, he actually can tell some very clever jokes. He enjoys fishing, catching bugs, and shopping for cool furniture.
- Lilith: A Wizard who graduated at the top of her class at Alexandria's Magical Academy. When she's not reading a book she's mixing random things together to make potions that may or may not explode. Also, she is your biggest fan.
- And many more!

Charming and enjoyable. Easy recommend if you enjoy this genre.
I was looking for a game that scratched my itch for something like Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 where you get to build a town and meeting certain decorative requirements can you give you rewards and upgrades. This is where this game stops being anything like DC 1 or 2 and becomes a fun desendent pf Animal CrossingC/Stardew Valley.
I got this game on a whim. I had the expectation I would get bored after 5-10 hrs but here I am 30 hours in and I haven't even unlocked all the content! It's a far more extensive game than I'd anticipated. I really like the characters and story as well as the free building. Very fun and chill.
Compliment sandwich time.
The art and writing is super cute and works well for the game.
I was expecting a little bit more story after getting to the Edge of Solmen, with Dark and Lilith. The pacing of the achievements is stretched very wide with way more resources collected than ever needed. It is possible to overuse the resources you have access to in the very start and block your progress, I had to demolish buildings to get them back and continue but there were others who couldn't figure that one out.
I did mostly enjoy the levelling system, town progression and all the little task options with the tavern being unique to me. Worth playing I think.
I LOVED this game. This game is immersive, fun and has TONS of content. Would recomend over and over again. Great Animal Crossing - like, but this game is better.
Critiques for Devs:
Again, I love this game. I feel like we get "end game items" a little too early, mostly game breaking statues and clock. The core gameplay can stretch for 3-5 years, but we get those "late game items" 1-2 years in. The journal for the travelers could have been pointed out better. I got to the endgame without knowing this and only found out through an online thread. When selling traveler items at the market, sometimes items wont register. Frustrating backtracking to get 3 more Black Pearls.
A nice farmsim. I like it better than Stardew Valley.
For some reason Stardew Valley never clicked for me but I find this very enjoyable. No stakes, no stress, just hanging out with some weirdos and growing and cooking stuff.
This game gives you ultimate freedom, I was surprised when I was able to change the entirety of the town soon as the intro was over, without losing materials is an amazing feature, unlike the boringly long process of Animal Crossing. The fact you can customise the whole town, your own home and the citizens houses is so cool. Intriguing story and great characters. Couldn't ask for more, perfect.
feels unfinished and really grindy. holds a special place in my heart but still really frustrating during later gameplay
good little game. fuck whoever said it has too much grinding, it has a good enough of grinding, thats called gameplay.
This game is great for its price, simplicity, a wide range of interesting mechanisms, and overall relaxing vibe. I use this game to unwind after work, sometimes I simply turn on a podcast and listen to it while I play the game with one hand (usually sipping on water or doing the NYT wordle with my other hand). It's also fun to achievement hunt on this game as there are a reasonable number of achievements and they are all very achievable.
+ Game overall is themed to be quite cute. No age restriction for the player audience is really needed.
+ Story is decent. Enough to keep the player's attention while remaining a game with exploration and management.
+ Game is very step-by-step. Until specific objectives are finished, the game will not progress.
+ Controls are simple. Optional WASD or arrows. Even without a numpad or modern hardware, this game is quite compatible and easy to play.
+ Building is simple to do and understand.
- The top down nature of this game can be slightly confusing at first when building. Attempting to build on a horizontal axis or from top-downward, simply does not work or builds something you may not have intended to.
you can adopt cats, 10/10
Enjoyed this game!! I got to the end, I think, but didn't complete every achievement. The story being that you already had your "big adventure" and this is after is super super neat and I really loved it. Simple. Cozy. Really fun.
Very cute, easy, and fun. Easy to pick up and gives many hours of gameplay. 🔥 would recommend 😎
Bought 5 days ago, have 25 hours of play so far. I cannot be stopped.
I love this game <333
It's a bit like Stardew Valley lite, can't compete with the real one but still nice.
This game is so grindy and i love it. It's worth spending your hours to build a town for every single town folks. I really adore this game
i love that it's not timed so i don't feel rushed. also nothing scary :)
Kinda mix animal crossing and valley but I like it and the calm approach through the story 👍
like a cute easier/simpler version of stardew valley, definitely needs some expansion. I've played for about 100 hours and already kind of maxed out everything with no more objectives.
A nice enough sim, as long as you are not picky. It definitely would not survive pickiness.
This game has elements that remind me of Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. I love it, I am obsessed.
If you expect grind, then it is a masterpiece.
charming in every way. not a bad thing to say about it
I love this game. Interesting storyline and good art. It's fairly simple but I haven't felt like I've run out of things to do
Charming, cozy town-building game that's easy to sink hours into.
I really love littlewood! It has genuine charm and story intrigue while still allowing you to take things at your own pace. It allows the decorating AND layout perfectionism goblin in me to thrive. It's just a ton of fun and I always find myself coming back
I must say I really love this game!
It's like a mixture of Stardew Valley (one of my BIG favorites) and Animal Crossing.
I like the fact that time doesn't progress as long as you just wander around and do certain things that won't give you "experience". Like shaping the ground in your little village, moving stuff, building/planting (as long as you have the materials, blueprints and the right to place that number of certain things)! Most other activities will gain you xp and cost energy though, so chose wisely what you want to do with your day. If you've done all that you want, you can always go to bed and start the next day.
I like the NPCs too, each has their own personality and a little story line. I haven't progressed very far yet though.
I tend to forget a lot of things you should do daily to progress - but it doesn't matter that much. It's never too late for anything. Just like in Stardew Valley there will always be a new day and a new year to get all the stuff you need/ level up what you need. That's the kind of games I like the best - when you can do everything in your own time and set your own goals and always discover new things while you go along.
Do try this if you like those things too, I absolutely recommend it.

Very fun cozy game, not too long in play time, with cute pixel art, nice dialogues (a bit too few in my opinion, they start repeating very fast) and a nice story. No combat, the time only passes as you use your energy.
very nice
very cozy
a bit boring after 1st year autumn
but very cozy so I'm ok with the boring part
I like this game is not pushing you to achieve anything, unlike many other farming games giving me anxiety...
and I like it's very easy to fill the museum, there's hint for everything
I actually really loved this game for the first half of it, however right around midpoint it became insanely grindy. Now generally I do not mind a grind in a game, but this one had way too much grind with way too low of a drop rate on a handful of items. I am 87 hours into the game at this point and I am not sure if I am wanting to finish it because of the sheer amount of overwhelm I feel due to low drop rate and the amount of things needed to "complete" the game.
A bit more casual / lacking depth than I expected which I think made it hard for me to continue.
perfect cozy game, I love the fact that stamina is tied to in game time. Way better and isn't as stressful because there isn't as much time management. I don't feel rushed at all and I truly enjoy this very cozy game.
cute and fun but gets too grindy and rly slow after about 25hrs playing. sad devs abandoned it but i think its def worth it if you get it on sale
Cute game, similar to Stardew Valley.
grindy mediocre game, suitable for children
Pleasant and user friendly cozy game!
It's fun to be able to build up the town and not really have to adhere to a strict time limit! Just go at your own pace and immerse yourself in the world... those kind of games are always the best, in my opinion!
I love this game! It's very casual, you get to meet and befriend several characters, including Dudley the Old Fishing Grandpa, Lillian the Witch and Bubsy the Tsundere Birdman!
Also, grinding doesn't feel as much like an effort, and you don't have to memorise a lot, so you can stop and start whenever you want!
I really like this game!!
(Also Linda the Librarian is a sweetheart and I want only good things for her, lol)
I genuinely love this game, it is like a mix of Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing New Horizons.
BEST WAY TO EARN MONEY IN GAME
step 1: pick weeds
step 2:get money from weeds
step 3: upgrade price of weeds as mayor
step 4: pick weeds
step 5: sell weeds
step 6: upgrade shop to sell more weeds
step 7: pick weeds
step 8 sell weeds
step 9: repeat steps 1,2,4,5,7,8 and this step
This is a good alternative option for those who are looking for cozy "farming" sim but aren't keen on the daily timer and stamina restriction typically associated with the genre. The premise of the game is rather unique. The game has no combat at all - which is either a good thing or not, depending on how you look at it. Overall, it's designed to be as stress-free as possible while still requiring player to be actively engaged in the game. Definitely recommend.
Very cute and cozy game! Similar to Stardew Valley and ACNH but has enough of its own unique features and characters to stand on it's own.
hidden gem
A grindfest game disguised as a farming sim.
Fun and relaxing little game!
Came back and got my last 2 achievements. Was great fun but it seems like it is no longer being maintained? Sad to see it, if you don't mind the simplistic art style, this is a great game with a good amount of customizations and gameplay overall.
