Опыт сезон проходит. В конце зимы ваше сливовое дерево начнет цвести, а весной оно обретет полную силу. Листья вырастут, летом вы получите летнее дерево бонсай. Все станет золотым, когда придет осень, и тогда листья упадут с ветвей, чтобы выполнить великое прощальное представление. Затем на ветвях появятся фрукты, обеспечивающие вам уникальные взаимодействия и возможность получить дьявольский плод. По мере приближения зимы вас ждет еще один цикл в жизни сливового дерева.

So where do i even start with this game ? I mean there's so much to say first of all that statement '' this game is slow and boring'' and ''this game looks ugly'' as some other people have said in their reviews isn't true i thought that at first too , but once i played on a bit more i realized that this game's style is very minimalistic and beautifull and in time came to absolutely love it :3 . And second statement isn't true either , because you can either leave the game on in the background as you do anything and listen to very loud , but chill music of the game and why is noone talking about secret game feature i accidentally found out about ? which is by spamming the heck out of play button you can skip time really fast you don't even have to play this game in the background . And i felt like this game owes an review , because it's really good game once you play it more and i wanted to write this review now , because i now have all the achievements and have played the game multiple times and even through my tree's eventual death 2 times one time astonishing and impressive 31 years which is almoast 12 years 3 times which would be this game's zodiac chinese calander completed 3 times and second time 20 years anyway as i said once you get to play this game more you come realise it's unique minimalitic beatifull style :3 and it's slow pacing or super fast time skip . And i'd give this game 8/10 almoast no bugs encountered and i don't like the setttings a bit , but otherwise good game . And i know gen z ers can't read and don't read these kind of long reviews , but hey not only it's the only way i can express myself , but also that isn't my problem that kids and teenagers and humans in general in 21 st century can't read long texts and long books . And this is 3 rd PanGuoJun's or Romesoft's idk what he's called his steam profile name is Romeosoft , but developer name for some reason for this game is PanGuoJun game i've played , but the longest propably , because it has most achievements out of all his games and propably has the longest gameplay too and best i have played yet out of his 9 games which i all own , and i have all his games , because i believe in him and i think it's pretty impressive that he has made 9 games which is most than other people have some indie companies have made only 1 very popular game and that's it , but he's only 1 guy i think and he has made 9 . And i haven't played all his 9 games yet only 3 including this one , but i think PanGuoJun or Romeosoft whatever is his real name i think he's a master at making minimalistic games unique game ideas others don't make and very unique , but short gameplay . And first game i played of his is black hole simulator which i liked , because i just love space and so i love space ames too i mean if they're good of course , but that game was literally 5 mins long gameplay and that's it and it was laggy for some reason . Second is i am rock which i also liked same reasons , but few new reasons : longer gameplay , very good interpretation of how our solar system works and how our planets look like and our solar system looks like , good game to mess around with and relax and wind down after long day , good music , fun . And i hope this developer makes new games , because he has real potential and talent in my opinion in minimalistic style games like these and i hope very much that he makes tree bonsai 2 some day and sequels to his other games like i am a rock and black hole simulator and make more space themed games , because they're fun and good .

Now i'll write what the developer needs to improve if he's not completely abondoned this game already .
1 . add sound bar not just sound on and sound off , but you can control how loud is music without needing to shut off all sound
2 . add seperate sound bar like sfx
3 . add seperate ambience sound bar
4 . add better camera settings , because it's hard to navigate sometimes with camera
5 . very good idea i have add like 4 game sllots so every time you want to start a new game you don't have to restart , you can just have different games and game saves
6 . i don't remember if this is in the game or not , but add quit to main menu and make a main menu at all , because there isn't one for some reason .
7. Should add save qand quit and then seperate quit game in main menu
8 . make spring and summer shorter , because i get that those are the main 2 seasons when tree grows the most , but spring especially is just riddicously long and summer is long too and autumn is very useful , but is shorter than winter which doesn't make any sense , because winter doesn't serve any purpose , but autumn does giving new nutrients , giving devil fruit , giving grafting plants , making beautiful laggy as hell leaf dropping .
9 . oh almoast forgot you could fix or do that achievements count towards overall achievements , because this is problem not only for this game , but every game you made where there are achievements aka :

10 . bugs i meant one time my tree died , but new game didn't start and new game started without my consent next time it didn't happen though and when i checked which year it is it bugged out and i had to restart the game and as someone suggested in their review you could add a way to see mid game which tree year it is currently .
Tree.Bonsai is a beautiful and relaxing game with time spent looking after a Bonsai and enjoying the beautiful blossoms. I enjoyed the slow pace, yet also being able to experiment with my tree using devil fruits each season. Fun, chilled out, beautiful.
Fun game! Allows you to play around with some bonsai designs before applying them on a an actual tree. I really enjoyed the graphical design and the process of growing my trees.
As annoying as the camera movement can be, as much as I wish I could get more music and such. and wish my music was leveled right. however, I still very much enjoy it so much, so I just keep playing it. helps a lot with my depression and such. I find it calming when shit in my life isn't going how I thought it would. even feeling alone or lonely, this little game keeps me thinking of how to shape the tree, it makes me keep trying over and over, I wish we could do more than one save but eh. yes, I want more, like discovering more. for 2 bucks it is the best 2 bucks I ever just picked.
A relaxing little idle game. Pruning and keeping your own digital bonsai tree is enjoyable, and it's nice how the tree is unique for each play. The use of the Chinese zodiac calendar is rather fun, as are the various animations of the changing seasons. All that said, the game could do with an update. More relaxing sounds and music would be nice. The addition of a more used friendly H.U.D. should be considered as well, as camera movement and the pruning tool can take a fair bit of practice to master. The game also seems to pause far too often. Players should be able to move their camera without pausing the game.
I would love to see the ability to run this game as a screen saver/wallpaper, and the addition of a task timer might be considered as well. All in all, an enjoyable experience.
perfect way to unwind after a long school day. it has very little user interaction and theres some little things that can be fixed, but it's def such a cute lil game! :)
(warning; was in a bad mood when i tried this game and wrote this review) controls are bad, graphics aren't great, and i am overall very unsatisfied. my only option right away is to just wait for the tree to grow on its own- there's no way to speed up time and already grew in so many borked up ways that i want to fix but none of my tools work. one of them says i have to wait a year, the other doesn't say anything, it just doesn't work. i don't have nearly as much control as i thought i would, and watching it grow isn't satisfying at all, it just feels janky as shit.
Cool little game, It would be better if you could grow a main trunk and main branches.. you can't chop the trunk, grow it back, chop the trunk, grow it back, to build taper like you would in real life... but this game was like 2 quid and it's the best thing of this kind I've seen, so that's fine! Good job.
This is a sweet and clever horticultural sim, the aim, to grow a bonsai cherry blossom tree.
What I love, besides how pretty is it, is how it visually evolves through the seasons. The rain, snowflakes and falling leaves, along with the butterflies and hummingbirds that pollinate the flowers.
Your plant spins around on a pedestal and the view can be maneuvered with keyboard or mouse, with the choice of 4 options of interaction, pruning, fertilizing, grafting and a 'devil fruit' that produces hallucinations. They are mostly to be used in particular seasons, first having to gather seeds, fruit and pods as they develop.
The game provides advice if a selected action is less than helpful, e.g. fertilizing in the wrong season or pruning before the first two years of trunk development.
You could think that after a few 'years' it could get boring, tho I feel, imo the challenge is to prevent the tree's many spindly stems from overgrowing, or thatching too thick. I accidently clicked on the 'start again' button and was stunned for a moment, as the screen instantly cut to a black page titled Death, also showing statistics of the tree's life. From this experience it seems the other joy of this game is the simple act of nurturing life.
If you like plants, but havent a green thumb, this is a good sim for you. It gently grows, through the seasons, before your eyes, very hard to kill ,(unless u do what i did) takes up no room, makes no mess and you never have to water it. (or feel guilty because you forgot to water it)

Pretty good tree simulator but it lacks good UX and optimization.
You need to nurture the tree, cut its branches, and collect fruits. You can collect an evil fruit that can change some things depending on the current season. I don't think that changing a pot type should be among these things. There are 12 types of years that don't change anything (should it?). You can fast forward time by clicking on the tree (undocumented feature?).
Some textures glisten that reminds me of a kettle from 3ds max. It makes pots and grass look ugly. Flowers and leaves look out of pot, grass, tree art style.
It's hard to read the number of water and buds available and the text in the middle of the screen. Also, there is no information about the current tree age (it would be great to see statistics in the middle of the game).
When a tree gets many branches with leaves/flowers the game start to lag. I had to cut branches to reduce lags.
The overall experience is 50%/50% pleasure/struggle.
A clever idea, but like so many games, under-developed. There is very little in the way of explanation, and not a lot of ways to interact with your plant.
Mind you, I have grown fold on my ugly little stump, but I would have been a lot happier with some semblance of an idea of what is going on. There is some information in the discussions, but no game should rely on the players for the most basic information.
If you still want to give this a try, a few details. The music is really nice. The controls are a bit strange, and finicky, as any attempt to rotate or zoom in seems to pause the game. The game be design very slow, it is an exercise in patience, as I imagine a real Bonsai would be, the difference being that you can step away from a real tree and not miss critical moments, like the short period in which fruit is on your tree. You simply cannot step away without choosing to either stop the progress of time all together, or risk missing out on entire seasons.
I don't hate it, mind you, but I certainly cannot recommend it. Even the designer has made comments suggesting that it is an unfinished product in some very key ways, and I did not get the idea that fixes or patches were on the way.
If I am wrong, I will come back to this review and let you know, but as is, I would say only buy it on a good sale, under a dollar.
People who buy this buy for a reason, bonsai and some gaming experience. I'm disappointed from what I saw. I'd love to turn back and give another chance after it's completed. For now what I can say is it really amazes me how people here tend to glorify things easily while writing reviews.
The idea got me instantly but it is still in the middle of development stage. As it stands this simulator is more of a slightly interactive screensaver than a game. It still needs a lot of improvements. This "game" nearly need you to just sit and watch as your plant grows. It has a very simple interface with three buttons and i found extremely hard to activate these buttons. The simulator lags all the time and the graphics department needs improvements as well. Enjoying the beauty of "your" bonsai is the only thing this simulator promises and should achieve it.
A truly beautiful game. I really admire the developer's outlook on all of their games so far, their interest in nature, simulating natural beings and processes, and creating beauty, and Tree Bonsai is the best PanGuoJun game to date.
It's a small little gem that is rough around the edges in several ways, but has the charm and personality of an artwork made by a single dedicated artist. The dev says it is an artwork more than a game: [quote]" this game can be said to be a 4d sculpture, 3d plus time".[/quote] This is a beautiful description and you should go into the game not thinking this is a true to life bonsai simulator, but an artwork generator where you are the artist and you can create your own living bonsai sculpture. In each moment as the tree grows and time passes, you get to make many decisions: to let nature take its own course and grow freely, or interfere and cut branches to mold it to your will? Give the plant nutrients in spring and summer, or perhaps just encourage a few branches to grow? Leave it to its own designs and idle it in the background? Trim or water the diseased parts of the tree? Change the plant's pot, petal colors, leaves, or posture?
If you're the type of person looking for something either very meditative, or you have a mind that will be very interested in making all these decisions, this is the game for you. It's quiet, peaceful, surprisingly addictive. You can let it sit in the background or watch as the seasons pass and your tree grows in interesting ways.
It's a very small, personal little project and has some glitchiness to it- and the English is not seamless. If those things are going to bother you, be warned. So far nothing has prevented me from playing fully through this game (except that it is endless if you want it to be), so I imagine anyone who is interested in the content (not just for achievements) will still get a lot from Tree Bonsai despite that it's a little wibbly wobbly sometimes.
The game delivers on what it offers and its very aeshetic and pleasing, I look forward to spending more time on it. Unfortunately though it's kind of hollow at the moment.
Some requests I immediately had when playing was a more clear understanding of time passing, it keeps saying no need to prune your tree in the first year but unless I'm missing something there's no time shown or life of the plant, so I just have to keep waiting. I know I can see the Chinese zodiac year and season but can I have an option to display something on screen at all times? (e.g. Plant age 323d planted Rat Year Spring currently Ox Year Winter or something small in the corner, even just more info in the current tab like a loading bar for the season/year)
We should be able to have multiple tree "saves" and be able to have projects, maybe a "greenhouse" room where we could move our prized bonsai we've grown in together to be exhibited?
Other decorations (rocks/pebbles/maybe a room or a view to put your plant in? More elaborate pots etc.?
Wire to construct the bonsai from sapling so you can guide the creation just like you would in real life. (just so you can go after some kind of shape or form of the main branch, spiral etc.)
When I press the "play" button while gardening can the plant not spin? I want to remove HUD, progress time and not spin. Or can I adjust the speed of it? (slider from 0-100?) or can I be allowed to move the camera while time progreses?
When time is progressing and fruit grows I should be able to pick it without time stopping again
A recenter camera button, and some camera settings like FOV and sensitivity
I feel like the photo button should launch into a full photo mode, maybe even capable of recording short clips (preferably in high framerate so we could get up close and slow mo a leaf falling off)
I know I had a lot of "complaints" but I am enjoying growing digital bonsai, these are some of my ideas to keep the game fresh and interesting and would probably help you make more money.
I got this game because it looked like a beautiful, casual, and relaxing but the big seller was because I've always wanted to grow a bonsai tree. I've killed everyone I've tried to grow. I finally got to grow a bonsai tree while playing this casual simulator. The game is very simple, there isn't really a lot to do and there is more looking at the tree than taking action. The tree goes through the four seasons, you can give nutrients to branches on the tree in the spring and summer to encourage certain parts to grow. There are clippers to trim the tree. Occasionally there is an option for grafting and to pick fruit from the tree. Mushrooms can grow on dead branches but I have not had this happen yet.
I don't think this game will be for everyone as it's so simple and the growth is really slow, but I am enjoying it.
I have been in the art of bonsai for over 5 years and must say this game mimics the process of training a tree. I am enthralled with this game. I intend on recommending this game to my fellow bonsai enthusiasts. WHEN ARE OTHER TREE SPECIES GOING TO BE INTRODUCED?
not worth the $2, it's clunky and won't allow you to take any action for large chunks of time. if I wanted a screensaver I could find a great many superior options. :(
I like the idea of the game, but at this time, it's not fun for me. Perhaps I will play it again when it is completed. For the gameplay, I have nothing to do and I am bored while waiting for a season to be changed (so that the tree will grow). Adjusting the camera angle is difficult and selecting a branch of the tree is hard to aim. I also experienced a problem with optimization which rendered with low frame rate. Moreover, the texture quality is quite unpleasant.
A very innoffensive and relaxing program, and very Visually appealing. I like to alt/enter it into a window and keep an eye on it in the corner of my screen as I work.
I don`t think I`m cut out for growing bonsai though, as my tree looks like it would be at home in chernobyl or 3 mile island.... :(
I`m not sure most bonsai trees have birds and butterflies in their branches, but hey it looks nice I guess.
The sound is kind of erratic, sometimes you can hear birds or crickets chirping and at other times frogs, (where the heck did they all come from?...are they living under my floorboards?), Often though it just sorta stops dead, and theres a deathly hush.
I decided to call my Tree "Timothy", - Timothy Tree.
I wish that bloody bird would shut up.
This game is totally sick. It's incredibly beautiful in a minimalistic way, and the gameplay is addictive, rewarding, and relaxingly simple. Best $2 i ever spent on a game. I would like to see this concept expanded upon (more kinds of trees?) but am totally content to dump hours into it as is.
