Achievements don't work and no one knows how to get them. Probably broken.

Simple Sailing is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Racing Bros/ANPA.US, took the Sailing Regatta Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Blab Dev SA, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.
Racing Bros/ANPA.US has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:
- "My Bingo" = Brilliant Bingo Kit developed by Rumyancev Pavel
- "Darts and Friends" = Starter Kit #1 Darts Kit developed by Inane Game
[*] "District 112 Incident: Bowling Alley" = Starter Kit #1 Bowling Kit developed by Inane Game
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Sailing Regatta" is just a basic "yacht racing" sample/demo, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended.
Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.
Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Racing Bros/ANPA.US.
Not sure how the achievements unlock but I was able to play it and finish a race. Works on my AM4 platform with 16GB of Ram and 3090. Not having any issues with loading like the other reviews on here. If anyone knows how to unlock the achievements. let me know! (and no, im not signing into the game with my email. seems sus.)
Same as others, doesn't load game, just starts consuming resources on my PC.
There is no game here.. Just an endless loading screen with the ominous text, "Loading the races please wail."
"Loading Races Please Wail". I'm pretty sure crying won't make this thing load. I hope I didn't pay more than 49 cents for this loading screen.

This is a very basic sailing simulator. There is not much to do in the game other than sail your boat around. You can't save your progress without providing your email (for what purposes?). I can't recommend this game to anyone.
Basic sailing simulator with actually decent graphics. Can't recommend it since it asks for e-mailaddress, otherwise progress can't be saved and better boats stay inaccessible (it seems).
Don't want my e-mail on another spam-distributors list.
