How to Play
On your turn, move up to 3 steps in the mine, then do one action.Building Rooms
Building rooms is the main way to score points! If you move into a room that doesn't exist yet, you have to build it. Spend cards from your hand that include all the gems on the door you're building. (Most cards have 2 gems, and can be spent as either or both!) Choose the rotation of the new room and add it to the mine.
Collecting Gems
For your action, use a room's special ability to draw more gem cards. Different rooms have different rules for drawing cards, so choosing the right room for your situation is key! (If you can't find a useful room, you can always draw a single card instead.)
At the start of your next turn, if you have more than 4 cards, you'll have to discard down to 4.
Winning
In Rush Mode, the players race against each other. Have the most points at the end of the round when anyone reaches the point target.
In Crisis Mode, the players race against the clock. You'll be forced to "burn" cards from the deck every turn, removing them from the game. Reach the target score before the cards are all gone!

An excellent board game with a flawless digital adaptation.
Everything is very well done, from the artwork to the small details (poems and lore).
It is something that more people should try.
Definitively a hidden GEM.
Game is alright at best but the digital implementation is very nice.
Smooth gameplay that allows for seamless solo or online play. Tactics are varied enough to keep interest. Very calming game with a neat mix of strategy elements. 2 types of gameplay and different AI difficulty levels add new elements to the game. Recommended, and highly recommended for board game enthusists.
GREAT GAME! LIKE A PUZZLE STRATEGY BOARD GAME I THINK!!
This game is a fun adaptation of a board game. The rules are fairly simple, but there is some strategy to learn in order to score high points. This game was clearly meant to be played online with other people, but the low number of current active players makes that difficult. The game would be great if more people played, but you can play offline and control multiple players and have bots play with/against you—there's a cooperative mode and a pvp mode. I'm really enjoying it, and I'm making a couple friends buy it so we can play with each other as well.
Really well implemented version of the original board game. There is plenty of clarity on how features and special skills affect gameplay.
There is the odd bug when playing online but otherwise a really well made game. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, relaxing game with friends that's easy to set up.
This is the digital version of the best selling board game...Gem Rush.
I highly recommend this game for all ages as not only a challenging enough casual game, but one with enough complexity to make it incredibly fun and enjoyable. You can pick it up and leave it anytime, and resume whenever you like. It is multiplayer, and you can play up to 7 players, of which all can be yourself or you can assign bots with 4 differing strength levels. This game has much grown on me, become my weekly gameplay. I admire the “Labor of Love” in the sense that the developer continues to update, polish and refine the overall game as years pass. I would give it a try, as it is well worth $10. 😊
Well executed digital adaptation of the board game. Games play quickly, UI is intuitive and everything goes smooth. One can play against humans, also bots. Recently a new bot level was added, which shows that the devs keep on working on the game.
There are two modes in the game, one where you compete with other players and one where you work together with other players. Both have a different feel due to different goals. Depending on the mood I have, I choose one of the modes to play.
As said, games go quickly, most are only a few minutes long.
If you like board games, I certainly recommend this one.

Good Game
This is a board game that has made a faithful reiplementation into a digital form. As a board game, I'm going to say it is not something for people who don't particuarlly like board games. This game avoids many of the fiddily bigts of setup and tear down and rules checking
More like Poop Push. Descent without combat, with a pattern-matching dig system. Absolutely frustrating bonkers trash.
This is a fun and well designed board game that made an excellent transition to Steam. The graphics are clean and have nice little touches, such as small animations in some of the locations. Better still is the graphic design of the game. Everything is easily readable, you can rotate and zoom the board to get a better look around, and most of the information just seems to be in the right place to easily find it when you are looking for it.
The game includes two modes, a competitive mode that can be played locally and online, and a cooperative mode. The competitive mode seems to lack bots to play against, but the cooperative mode works just fine for single player. While bots would be nice to have, playing the cooperative mode works for me and is how I would play this game single player if I owned the physical version.
So far, I am really enjoying this game.
