criticisms:
the piece outlines dont disappear once a puzzle is complete, which means that youre not able to view your finished product as its displayed in the reference image.
the puzzles are all the same size, and there are 16 puzzles. however there is still a lot of variation, as the rabbits have different colours, and the backgrounds are all different as well.
sometimes a puzzle piece will appear behind the reference image window, and you wont be able to see it unless you close the window. this is, in my opinion, poor game design.
there is no in-game music. the only sound is when you connect pieces. the game could use a sound for when you finish each puzzle, and music would add to the game's ambience.
it would be nice if there was a more exciting visual indicator when finishing puzzles. currently there is simply a pop-up window that congratulates you.
conclusion:
overall, i would recommend this game. if you like games such as tetris, minecraft, and god of war, this game is most likely for you.
Warning: Asset Flip!
Rabbit: Jigsaw Puzzles is an asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" stole someone else's template/tutorial jigsaw game, changed the name, stole some rabbit images from the internet, and submitted it to Valve as if it was their own game. Here's one of the stolen images (also known as "Exhibit A"): https://pixabay.com/nl/photos/konijn-eten-brown-bruin-konijn-3019050/
Boogygames Studios have shown a repeat pattern of unethically stealing other people's work and dumping it onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:
- "Hidden Object - Food" = Hidden Object Game Template developed by Puppeteer
- "Hidden Object - Tools" = Hidden Object Game Template developed by Puppeteer
- "Solitaire - Cat Pirate Portrait" = Klondike Solitaire Complete Game Tutorial developed by University of Games
- "MahJong - Medieval Fantasy" = Mahjong Game Engine developed by SmallBigSquare
- "Food Mahjong" = Mahjong Game Engine developed by SmallBigSquare
- "Weapon and Armor: Mahjong" = Mahjong Game Engine developed by SmallBigSquare
- "Loot Collection: Mahjong" = Mahjong Game Engine developed by SmallBigSquare
- "Pixel Art Monster - Color By Number" = Pixel Art: Color By Number developed by Moana Studio
- "Color By Number - Pixel Draw" = Pixel Art: Color By Number developed by Moana Studio
- "Rainbow Duck" = Switch The Gravity developed by App Advisory

Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
The game features somewhat lazy, simplistic 2D graphics (mostly in the form of the images the developer stole off the internet), of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static images... it might as well be a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
Rabbit: Jigsaw Puzzles is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.
I just bought 3 jigsaw games from this creator: Rabbit, Kitty Cat, and Castle and there are quite a few differences from my other jigsaw puzzles game. Most games let you choose which puzzle you want to put together from a choice of several different puzzles, where this game just selects a puzzle for you when you open the game. The puzzle pieces are really strange shapes which makes it take a little bit longer to put together the puzzle. But the pictures of rabbits are all pretty good.
this has to be the game of all time
Feels like I'm toddler again 10/10.
Very good
good game
10/10
Super amazing. Feels like a mix between Skyrim and Diablo II.....but with Rabbits. Great story line. Over 15 rabbits.
I do not really know how I finally found this, but it was very hard and this should be the first thing every possible buyer sees. I think it is in the curator review. "This fake developer has reskinned their old asset flop for the 3rd time. This is a reskin or "Jigsaw Puzzles" / "Puzzles For Kids". This fake dev is known for posting asset flop fake games." So -1 for steam.
The game itself is vastly devoid of content. 16 bunny pictures, each cut up in 10x6 jigsaw pieces. Each picture is cut up in the exact same pattern on every run of the game. That means you are buying 16 pictures in 60 piece virtual jigsaw puzzles. (Edit: seems that there is less than 16 patterns. The pattern number 1 and 16 are different, but looking at the pictures in the app page some seem to be the same pattern.) Also, user-friendlyness rate 0 on the scale 1-10. You can complete it all right. But you must look in the app folder to find all 16. The link created by steam opens the picture number 1 each time. The things the comments are talking about are nowhere to be seen. This game has the obvious goal of "robbing" buyers by asking a low price for zero value. Like the beggars on the street. There are free jigsaw games out there that cut up any picture you give them in the amount of pieces you ask for.
6/10 Piece missing
there are rabbits in puzzle form. 11/10
