To run a successful corral you’ll need to tackle the dynamic economic system that rules the valley, which is a completely dynamic environment that changes due to offer-demand ratio, economic multipliers, customer expectations, etc.
Nurture your brood, as it will become smarter over time. All chickens are managed by a ‘Hive System’ which is a joint neural network that enables machine learning for the whole brood using each chicken as individual agents. Eventually, with enough playtime under their wing (Ha!, wing, get it?) the brood will improve their navigation and self preservation skills.
Everything is up to you: Want to quickly improve the AI? breed focused on intelligence, want to increase egg production? breed on fertility, want to be number one on Chicken Pageants? breed on beauty breeds. See you on the ranch.

Abandoned!
I thought I was getting a chicken raising game.
What I got was a wack a mole game.
To sum it up, the fence is designed to let in predators. So you spend most of your time running around killing them before they kill your chickens. I got bored quickly of this, hence my very short play time.
the birds are so goddamn cute! the gameplay is not amazing, BUT THE CHICKENS MAKE IT ALL WORTH IT
the breeding in this game is awesome, it keeps me busy.
i'm trying to make the best show chickens, while making loads of money.
i wish more games where a virtual breeding like this but other animals.
the game does need somethings though, so i cant wait for more updates.
things such as;
upper level show contests for each breed
more products to buy
crafting
more in depth tutorial
bug fixes ( things get stuck along the fence)
needs a lottttt of work
Its Quite boring and confusing...There is no point of the game

I like the concept of this game. Only issue is it runs slow, i had to set all graphics to low. If the developer reads this i noticed the animation for the grass might be causing the game to run really slow. If you fix that it might help the game run faster.
Very cool idea but still needs lots of work.
Version is sub 1.0 but isn't early access?
Limited tutorial and very slow game pace.
I won't be refunding because I want to support the solo developer and I want to play the game... It's just relatively unplayable ATM...

the game is cute. i dont want to spend an hour or more looking up lets plays or figure out how its supposed to be played on my own tho. a tutorial would be nice. like how tf do i get my water pump to run? why is my generator so weak? how often does the hippie bus come around? how do i keep the foxes from my pen? id like some sort of notification that the thing i just ordered from the magazine has been shipped into my area too cuz i feel like multi clicking is far too easy to do and end up with 15 alarm towers...rip money. i spent enough time in the game to know i like it, its cute, worth the sale price...and that ill wait until its more polished to spend many hours of my life in it.
This game is very buggy and unfinished. Fun Idea and I think it will be a good little game later on but I think it has been released too early.
The game is in early development so it is missing some pretty basic features like a speed control button. However for a game under development I think it's pretty good. You can play it, mostly things work okay, and there's a lot of cuteness. If you're looking for something fast paced and hectic go elsewhere. If you want to relax with some cute chickens, this one is good.
Unplayable lag. Even the main menu lags. Even on lowest settings. 4-5 FPS. I can play SC2 with a hundred units on screen just fine, but a game with a couple of chickens - no way.
Quity laggy, even with low settings and on a decent computer.. Maybe the controls are just supposed to be slow..?
No real tutorial / introduction.. I have no clue what to do, other than buying chickens and waiting - no way of speeding up the game...
I do see some potential, but it's at least a couple of months away from even being beta/EA worthy.
Recommended at the moment? NO
Might I recommend it in ½-1 year when the game is done? Sure thing!
EDIT: I would now no longer recommend this game, I haven't played it in a long time as it has sadly been abandoned by the developer, leaving promised improvements incomplete. It is a shame as I believe this game had real potential had the improvements been implemented and more content added.
I'm really enjoying this game so far, even though it is obviously still in the early stages of development. After several restarts I think I have finally mastered the basics and have figured out how to make my ranch reasonably profitable. I'm slowly but surely getting better equipment and working my way up to more exotic and profitable breeds. There are a few downsides, the controls seem a bit clunky as it can be hard to click exactly where you want to. It could also do with a more in depth tutorial but I'm sure this will all come in time as the dev seems very responsive to ideas on the forum. All in all a good game which I am having a lot of fun playing.
The game is good , but needs an option to lower your graphics. I lowered my resolution to the lowest and I still lag. Please add options to reduce the graphics. I would still reccomend this for people who has a good GPU.
I have a fever and the only cure is more chickens
The game is very slow, you can't speed it up. There is no save button, the game saves automatically from time to time. The in game info is incomplete & not really helpful. Animations are rather unrealistic, basic, stretchy & don't catch any of the true beauty of chickens, or roosters. Breeding is childish, so it's more of a very tamed down game. I had also difficulty to figure out how the thing with the eggs works, didn't manage to sell one single egg so far. Navigation is clunky & cumbersome, though at least i had no lag & could use my wacom pen without any problems, though i would prefer the option to use the mouse entirely instead of the keyboard. Overall more options to everything surely wouldn't hurt. A name hoovering text when holding the mouse over a hen/rooster would be very much appreciated. The names of the hens/roosters are in most cases invisible because it's a 2D info relative not to the camera but to the chicken. The zoom out is limited, so that an overview of the enclosement is difficult. The sound of matchete on weed resembles matchete on stone. There is no option to move or sell an object once placed, so if you place it wrong or want to move it, you can't. It's confusing what you are actually selling, a highlighted selected hen/rooster would be helpful here & the name next to the selling option. Music is ok, nothing thrilling but at least not too overdone. I didn't encounter any gamebreaking bugs or crashes, so that's a plus. I would really appreciate it if the chickens were made prettier & more realistic, after all, the game doesn't contain much gameplay, so at least the graphics should be more attractive.
So, is it worth the 10 bucks ? I am not sure, probably not,
maybe only if you are a chicken fanatic or yearn to play something slow & not too stressful.
We'll see how this game develops, hopefully it won't be abandoned or just developed forever.

getting roosters is tricky, but dev has introduced a button fo buy roosters
nav can be clunky but you get used to it.
sometimes the birds hide in your constructed objects.
but it is fun to watch your brood grow as you try to get the best chickens possible.
Some days the ladies are coguettish and the bachelors are limpid and the procreation takes a pause.
Some days the roosters are crowing and going and that's when the feathers fly.

True story
-Bought the game at 11pm with the intent of trying it a little bit before going to bed maybe 20 minutes to just try it out.
-It is now 6 am my corral is thriving, I'm selling eggs and nuggets like pancakes. I'm unstoppable.
- 7am I panic as I seemingly fell asleep and didn't hear my chickens screaming for help as they were obliterated by a pack of vicious foxes.
- 8am There's no way back now, my top egg layers are gone. I have to be at work in an hour. I begin to rebuild.
-9am I HAVE to be at work, as I'm already late I close the client and start preparing. I cry a little at the shower.
7/7 Would do it again.
