Not much to it. Sin, sin, sin to win. The challenging game mode seems impossible to beat and it is required.
This terrible e-waste is made by satan to corrupt the mind of the good christian folk. Let this heresy burn. Long live the church.
This game offers about 10 minutes of gameplay. The first 5 minutes is just trying to figure out what the game is about and what your trying to do in it. Finally I realized it's supposed to be an edgy arcade game where you rack up a high score called depravity. It doesn't have much to offer. The last 5 minutes I dorked around with it until I became convinced this game was about as entertaining as a loaf of stale bread.
Temptation is yet another construction kit template copy+paste from serial Russian shovelware pushers, Laush Studio (aka Falco Software aka Repa Games etc etc). These guys do nothing but copy premade game templates and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, slap on an asset flipped set of sprites/assets, and dump them on Steam and into cheap nasty shovelware game bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab.
This time it looks like Laush got some other Russian dudes crapware game and dumped it on Steam as a cash grab. It's a simple 2D arcade brawler where you chop up/avoid various obstacles coming at you from the left or right of the single gameplay screen. Incredibly shallow, but we should expect nothing less from these Russian shovelware pushers and Steam polluters.
DIEDEMOR STUDIO GAMES/Laush Studio have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:
- "Unmanned helicopter" = Simple Town Pack developed by MyxerMan
- "Old Factory" = Realistic FPS PreFab developed by Azuline Studios
[*] "Tower Defense Sudden Attack" = Tower Defence Template developed by Keeree Games
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
The artwork here is terrible, it's a hodge-podge of amateurish "My First Wacom Tablet" style drawings used instead professional looking game assets. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can create graphical assets properly, or lack of talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low, enough on its own to deter gamers.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. There's also an ugly screen filter you can't turn off, that makes everything look even worse.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers.
Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the GameMaker Studio construction kit/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset favoured by amateur developers as it's cheap and requires little in the way of development skill, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. GameMaker Studio is most commonly used to make retro pixel shovelware and cash grabs.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product.
Temptation has the almost unethical price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
Cool and beautiful graphics, not complicated gameplay 8/10
Poor translation, can't remap controls and lack of controller support.
Instant refund
I don't even know what is this or how did it end up on my library... don't waste your time.
