* несколько различных сюжетных концовок
* атмосферные локации
* внезапные повороты сюжета
* множество романтичных сцен

It's just the right kind of story to have a few laughs during free evening. Thanks)
This game has potential, but it felt to me like the devs got bored or impatient, and then decided to just wrap it up suddenly. It's super short, there's basically no "routes" - there's always just one choice branch for any route, except for Krudelta, who got no choice, and why does Nettain have 4 endings, and Artifis has just 2? Not to mention that they all feel very similar, always with Nettain going into that weird powerful state... It feels like they didn't expect us to play more than one ending.
I got unlucky and got Krudeltas Ending on my first playthrough, and it's even shorter than the others. It's basically just some text going "And then this happens and that happens and time passes and then they kiss, THE END!". It was completely jarring and ripping me out of any immersion.
Some of the other endings were jarring too, but some of them were actually good, it was just all happening way too fast.
Also, the english was a little weird sometimes.
I would've preferred if the game had only one LI and maybe just two endings, rather than all those half-assed ones.
I enjoyed this otome visual novel. The artwork was well done, while there is no voice acting I think that is a good thing in most visual novels. I like to envision my own voices to the characters. Bad voice acting in and of itself can ruin a good visual novel. Great artwork, multiple endings and not long or drawn out. I did wish there was a few more save slots but I like the fast forward feature for re-playing to get the various endings and achievements.
I completed all the achievements in about 3 hours. No crashing, supports wide screen. Polished game with no bugs.
If you looking for a nice looking otome with sexy demons and adult content (more in terms of the text as opposed to the images but some images are erotic), then this one is great for the price point and length. ❤️
Its not that good. Didn't really like the queer-baiting part with Krudelta, it was lost potential. The endings also didn't make that much sense to me. I got this game on sale for 0.39 euro. I regret my purchase.
YES! This novel is far better than the other/first one. Improvement! I had absolutely no rage or hate for this one whatsoever. I also came off a pretty dull novel, so this one was refreshing. This one is about demons... Obviously. First of all...... Jester is amazing. LOVE HIM. (Not literally). He IS perfect for my other character in another game. What he wears? GOOD. Approved. Oh and no, you can't date him... You can use your imagination though. ;)
Oops, right. Let's get this straight: this novel isn't perfect on relationship building. If you are looking for "draw me in" or "make me feel for them!" Nope. If you are to read it, it will be for: Fun... Demons... Or if you are lusty after demons.
Because one of the routes... Literally requires you to just be aroused and wanting that said demon. They have no relationship or build up. They just... Wanna go at it... The character isn't even sorry. She goes along with it. She is like HOT! -> TOGETHER FOREVER. I gotta say, not really a problem if you are into that kind of thing.
Okay, what about the other one? He is done far better. You actually grow to appreciate him and regardless of him not talking as much, he... He is actually pretty cool. Now THAT, I can kinda see them getting together, IF they had more time to grow their relationship.
I am not into girls dating girls, so I can't comment on the third love interest. I am not sorry.
My thing is... How come Artifis gets a lusty scene, and then there is the "dream" scene, but there are no sexy details on it...? While Netty's "HAPPY END" has NO Happy End? I am not complaining, I am just saying... Girls like details too. :D...
Okay so, will you have fun? How am I supposed to know that? I don't know you... What I can say... I wasn't bored and I can so see this being so much more better IF it was longer and more went into characters bonding together. I had fun though, as this woke me up from another game that put me to sleep, so kudos.
"Jester" FTW. Thank you! :> :) =3
Nice short read. First ending I got was with Krudelta and not gonna lie probably ended up as my favorite considering how short and sweet it is. Ending 7 is a wild ride though. About the love interests themselves I don't feel too much for or against them. Would recommend if you want to kill some time with a short story with demons and some spicy content.
Could honestly copy and paste my review for their other game, "Lets not stay friends", here. Though I suppose this one is a little better? Maybe?
In short: very quick and simple game, the main character is that typical annoying otome girl, everyone and everything feels very underdeveloped and largely uninteresting. Would recommend only if you're really itching for an otome (and it's on sale!).
This game is good if you enjoy otome games that have a bit more fan service.
I recommend following a guide to get the ending you are hoping for. Probably the best ending in my opinion in Nettain's Sounds Of Verity ending which gives the achievement "Nettain Unchained". Second best ending in my opinion, also a Nettain ending, was called Personal Trainer of a Demonic Monarch and gave the achievement "In The King's Bed".
There are 3 possible romantic matches, two male one female. The female route could be interpreted as either friendship or romantic which I appreciated, since I prefer male-only dating options but also have to get every achievement ever in games.
There are a few endings that aren't considered "bad" endings that are still sad, especially in Nettain's route so definitely read up on a guide to avoid those.
The game is definitely quite a shock at the beginning and throughout because unlike many Otome games the hot demons aren't exactly nice to the main character. In fact, she starts out as a possible dinner option. Probably the nicest one there is Prince Nettain but he is very cold at first.
A few of the more adult scenes skirt the boundaries of consent, which I was already expecting from some of the reviews, but just thought I'd add to mine as well. I didn't personally mind this but I figure some people might.
Short cheap visual novel
Nothing about this VN is impressive, neither the writing, the art, the soundtrack, the plot that takes at most half an hour for one straight playthrough, or the lack of an autosave before you hit one of the death endings. You're either going to die or end up with one of the 3 main characters, mainly because that's the plot, not because there has been any in-depth character development.
Get this if you were waiting for the VN where the protagonist getting lost in the castle for four nights in a row and sneaking off to a midnight snack in the kitchen where you randomly meet the dashing prince are major plot points. I'll pass.
This is a short, but very wonderful otome. The story isn't exactly deep but all of the characters are quite interesting and the artwork is beautiful. Also, the biggest plus for me is an MC who isn't so weak willed and boring. I laughed so much at all of Lis's reactions. I highly recommend, and make sure you get the death chibi's.
Ever wanted to travel to a realm of sexy, eccentric demons who all want a piece of you - literally? Well, Sounds of Verity has everything you need for your demon sex cravings and more. In classic isekai tradition, we start out with our protagonist - named Lisenta in this game - being suddenly transported to the Astral realm, a realm of demons. As tension and unease brews in the Northern Kingdom, Lisenta finds herself caught up in the political intrigue of these creatures as she is offered to the next Northern King as a gift. Just barely saving herself from becoming a royal meal, she strikes up a deal with Mr. Abs (Oh wait, that's not his name? Oh, Artifis) and starts living in the castle with the brooding Northern Prince, Nettain, and his staunch adviser, Krudelta.
This game has routes for Artifis, Nettain, and Krudelta. There are also two hot side characters that I wanted to date, the Maid and the Jester, but unfortunately they are just there to tease you. Can't have everyone, I guess. Artifis and Nettain both have many CG's and endings, but Krudelta only gets one kind of romantic CG and a short, vague ending. That kind of irritated me, especially since the other two even got their own erotic scenes, but it's better than what most otome games have to offer. The art itself is very appealing and the music and backgrounds are also fitting. The writing was a bit amateurish, but there weren't too many mistakes and the plot was interesting enough. Sadly, the game is pretty short, and I think I actually left it sitting open at some point so I probably have more time than I should. Still, I can tell that a lot of effort was put into this visual novel despite its meager length, so I think it is worth the price of $4.99 that it is listed for. But don't take my word for it, go play it yourself and see!
P.S. the pie is a lie.
The story behind the game sounded interesting but I just could not stand the main character.
The girl gets kidnapped and they talk about eating her and yet she just thinks 'oh these characters are so rude' or 'why doesn't the prince speak, he's so arrogant.'
Like girl get your priorities straight, right now you should be doing whatever you can to stay alive, not going out of your way to annoy them.
Sounds of Verity is a very short fantasy visual novel developed by Violet Feature. Whilst it's not very bad, it's not great either.
Lisenta has been taken to the Astral to be presented as a gift to the demon prince Nettain, who is about to become the king. At the start of these strange events she's presented with the opportunity to be brought back to her human world, but only if she accepts the deal from a demon Artifis that brought her to the Astral.
- The story feels very rushed and the only most developed route is Nettain's.
- Krudelta's route feels unnecessary. It feels more like a common route, not a romantic one.
- The story itself is interesting despite the fact everything romance related is happening way too fast and feels unnatural.
- The art of this game is really pretty.
- Bad endings were pretty funny.
To sum everything up, this game is too short to have proper romance development, but it's not very terrible either way. It would be much better if it only focused on Nettain's story. I didn't personally enjoy this title as a whole. If you're still curious, get it on sale.
Despite its flaws, I certainly can't say that I didn't like it.
Pros:
- 2 pretty guys, 1 pretty woman (all demons)
- Lovely artwork -- all of it
- Decent writing and English translation
- Interesting characters
- Sexy, but actually tasteful intimate scenes
- Good bonus section on main menu.
Cons:
- Nettain's (male, white-haired demon) route was the most developed, while the other characters' routes were vastly shorter and unfortunately less interesting because of it, especially Kruedelta's (female, blond-haired demon).
- Related to the previous node, there aren't as many CGs of the other two characters as there are of Nettain, especially Krudelta (she only has one).
- Sexual harassment and other problematic behaviors, mostly from Artifis (male, orange-haired demon). (Thankfully, I've seen/read much worse, so I can let it go and still enjoy the game.)
[*] One typo, perhaps more.
If you like romance VNs, you'll probably like it just fine.
I do very much like the art, and the prince in this visual novel. However, I found that the amount of time and effort I put into trying to have an ending with him did not feel worth it. I had to look up a walkthrough, first of all, because I kept ended up as a lesbian no matter what I tried. I wanted to go for Nettain, but repeatedly ended up with Krudelta.
When I finally DID end up with Nettain, the best I could get was more death or bittersweet endings.
Also, going through it the first time, I died. A lot.
In the end, there was no big payoff, and it left me feeling dissatisfied. Not hot CG's, no ridiculously good endings, and no discernible choices to get to the love interest you want without a lot of help or a lot of playthroughs.
Ultimately, though I feel like this game has a super amount of potential, the artists are phenomenal, and the love interests are all very attractive - I would not recommend spending money on this game. If more were added to it (such as voice acting, or the choices making sense, or there being ANY reason whatsoever for the damn Jester, or the cost of the game going way down, and so much more) I may be moved to change to a "Recommend".
All that aside, thank you for this game and I hope you keep trying to improve your game or make new ones. I would be happy to try them in the future :0)
A decent visual novel with a main character that is actually enjoyable. Even though she doesn't have much power over what is going on she still remains strong and takes charge of her decisions, so that's a major point in my opinion.
The artwork is very simple but beautiful, the characters seem so perfect it actually makes me jealous xD. The CG's are also pretty good, no wonky or awkward anatomy.
Plotwise I believe that even though it's short and very specific it makes good use of it's time and things seem to flow naturally. The endings were not what I was expecting for the most part but they were simply a surprise and not a bad one. We get some "realistic" endings were not everything is rainbows and roses and I can appreciate that.
It is a very short game, i finished it (with all the endings and achievements) in under 3 hours. I bought it on sale for around 2€ which I think it's the right amount for the game given it's size.
Overall it's a nice, casual, enjoyable little visual novel that I recommend for visual novel fans. My only complaint is that it's so short ^-^'', if this was streched over a longer period with some more challenges for the main character thrown in the middle we could have a very good, satisfying visual novel.
Sounds of Verity is a short fantasy/otome visual novel developed by a Russian group called Violet Feature. They've made another good game, Let's not stay friends, which I also really recommend! In Sounds of Verity, we follow the story of Lisenta, a young woman who was kidnapped by a demon called Artifis and given as some sort of gift to Nettain, a demon prince that will soon become the new king of a kingdom in the Astral plane. Together with the prince, we're also introduced to Krudelta, a fierce-looking woman and also his personal counselor.
There are three main routes: two male (Artifis and Nettain) and a female route (Krudelta) with twelve possible endings. Nettain's route was the longest with Krudelta's being very short and only hinting on the possibility of being romantic. It can also be seen as a friendship route, but in the end, it really depends on the reader's opinion. There are also some steamy moments on certain routes. This game has no explicit content though. That's a shame... :P
The art is gorgeous. It's visually appealing in my opinion and the character design is overall pretty. I also loved the Jester, and I wonder why he wasn't chosen to be a dateable character as well. The BGM is alright, some songs can be a bit of repetitive, but it's not so bad. The only thing I didn't like is the main menu, and a little more effort could've been put in it. This game also has some interesting bonus features such as a profile page of each main character and an ending list (a feature that I really like in visual novels). The English translation is good, and I don't recall seeing any grammatical errors during the main story. But there are typos and awkward sentences in the characters' profiles. It also took me almost three hours to reach all endings.
7.5/10. Overall, this is an enjoyable otome visual novel, and despite its small flaws, I still recommend it.
Pretty art, but little else. The plot feels like what a kid might write, then find this on an HDD 10+ years into the future and feel embarrassed as heck. Don't be fooled by my 12+ hours of playtime, that's just me getting bored and chatting on Discord instead of playing. The whole game can be completed in 1-2 hours.
I completed it in just under three hours, but it's a nice little otome game, espically on sale! It's an enjoyable fantasy/romance visual novel and I would reccomend it.
Pros+
+Nice Art (bg, cg) and hot guys
+Interesting world
+Strong MC (in most routes)
+Achievements
+Pretty Music
+12 unique endings
Cons-
-So Short! I completed everything uder 3 hours! I want more (story, characters, lore, etc)!
-Almost 7$ orignal price so get it on sale
-I personally only like 2 of the 12 endings
Hello Steam user who is wondering if this little visual novel is worth their time. I'm going to tell you right now that the short answer is... actually the really is no short answer with this one.
Pros
– excellent stylistic art. The reason I say stylistic is because this company has made another game Let`s not stay friends and when I look at this game and that game I can tell that the characters were made by the same people. They have a signature style and I actually like that a lot.
– Great concept. The idea of being taken to a Demon world against your will is nothing new of course but it's still a broad concept that can have lots of creative ways to be explored.
– Political intrigue. Like above, another thing I thought this game did decently was the concept of political intrigue and how this would affect their world. And I haven't played a lot of visual novels that really explore political ramifications and how things would be affected by thinking that way.
– The endings. The endings of this game were all pretty bittersweet in one way or another. Even the best endings still had something going wrong which was rather unexpected considering the mostly upbeat-ish tone of the game.
– The dead ends. That may sound weird that I consider them a plus but I just thought they were kind of amusing.
Cons
– it's price. To be frank, I played FREE visual novels (Al, lah Cinderella Phenomenon which I swear I'll review one day) that have more content than this game by far and considering that it's almost $10 when not on a sale, I think that's a little steep for what you actually get.
– It's length. White mentioned up above it's a short visual novel that you can complete in just a few hours.
– The execution. While I did mention that it had a great concept I personally feel like the execution was a bit on the lacking side. The game explained its world in vague details. A world that sounded really interesting and reminds me a lot of Seduce Me 2 The Demon War (similar concept but gets far better explored).
Neutral
– the music. Nothing special but not ear gradingly annoying either.
– Steam achievements. That pretty easy to get so if you're looking for another completed game this may be for you but if you're hunting for a challenge, you might be annoyed that it's so easy.
All in all enjoyed the few hours of entertainment this game provided but really wish that it was longer and had more story. So I guess that I will recommend this but get it on a 50% sale.
An entertaining game if you have nothing better to do and more interesting than "Lets not stay friends" in my opinion. However, it also has some serious drawbacks, so I couldn't give it a positive review.
First of all, it's way too short. You can finish all endings in less than 2 hours. There are multiple other visual novels at a similar price that are longer and better, like for example "Seduce me 1 & 2" or even the free game "The Cinderella Phenomenon". Second of all, the characters are all douchebags, even the protagonist is a douchebag at times. It's hard to sympathize with any of them especially since they are not very well-developed.
The story is a bit more interesting than "Lets not stay friends" which almost made me fall asleep half-way through, but it was still pretty underdeveloped. The art is not hideous but also nothing special. I would not recommend except if you are really desperate for an otome game and have nothing else to play.
Violet Feature, once again, proven themselves to be adept at creating visual novels. Yet, once again, I found their stories sweet and yet short.
Visually, there is nothing wrong. The CG's are flattering, polished, and professional looking. Yet, if I was to make one complaint on the visuals it would be simply the lack of backgrounds and locations. There really isn't many places the MC visits. These include:
1. Her room.
2. The throne room.
3. The hallway.
4. The council chambers.
5. The garden.
6. The prince's room.
7. The dining room.
And I think there was one other one. I could be mistaken, but this is what my memory is recalling and I have no need to go through the novel again to absolutely make sure how many there are in all.
As for the story, I would much rather read a novel that is too short than one that drags out forever in a meaningless monotonous nature, but I would have liked to seen more too. Once again there could have been more depth to the story and its characters that were lacking simply due to the length of the story. However, for what it is worth, it was decently done. In some ways, character development were lacking a slight more than they were in "Let's not remain friends." My guess for the cause is probably due to the plot of this particular story. There is just so much more details and depth you need when you have a deeper plot than the other one that had a much simpler one. In "Let's not remain friends," there is already a familiarity between the characters whereas in the "Sounds of Verity" everyone is meeting each other for the first time.
As a result, it felt like the characters were even less developed in some ways and I found I kind of had to imagine and guess the rest on my own. Fill in my own blanks, so to speak.
Example: MC is kidnapped and taken to the astral world where she is told that she will be eaten by demons. If one passes the first bad ending she is saved by a stroke of luck and proceeds to fall in love with one in five days. It is this part alone that becomes underdeveloped as there really is not enough time spent to develop that budding romance. The MC becomes a little bit shallow and the other characters become a bit precarious in nature. However, despite that issue, it was the best it could be done within the time allotted. In this way, I began to fill in my own blanks.
It was decent. Enough to pass my recommendation. I think for visual novels, they are a promising company, but I hope they step up with that bang I think they can acheive, and I feel they are close to achieving, it just needs that little bit more and they will really get that "wow" factor.
In the meantime, I look forward to the next one and hope the lenght of the next story does not continue to hold them back and they find that happy medium between too long and too short.
